White supremacist revenge attack?
In Spokane, a black man was beaten up, for no reason, by three young white males.
Given that there are a lot of white supremacists in that part of the country, it’s likely that this is a revenge attack by white supremacists to punish a random black person for knockout attacks by blacks against whites.
If true, that’s really incredibly stupid of those white supremacists to do that.
The year without Hanukkah
Even when the Jewish calendar is more cooperative, Hanukkah can adequately be described as a “sad wannabe Christmas” (to quote Allison Benedikt), but when the first night of Hannukah is the day before Thanksgiving, it’s like the whole holiday is pointless.
So while the year without Christmas was just a bad Claymation movie from the 1970s, for little Jewish boys and girls, the year without Hanukkah is a reality.
* * *
Actually, if that was the movie with the Heat Miser and the Snow Miser, then it was the best Christmas movie ever.
The movie with the Island of Lost Toys was second best ever.
The only Hanukkah movie I have ever seen is the Hebrew Hammer, a parody, which demonstrates once and again that Jews are unable to make a sincere Hanukkah movie because they have such a negative opinion of the sad wannabe holiday.
Another polar bear attack in NYC
As reported by the NY Post (which unlike the NY Times is on top of this story):
A Jewish grandmother was slugged in the back of the head by a young thug in Brooklyn Monday — and cops suspect it may be another instance of the violent “knockout game.”
The attacker didn’t say a word or try to rob the 72-year-old Mira Harpazi, police sources said.
She had left her home in Starrett City to visit a Jewish community center in Canarsie.
She went to a nearby pharmacy and was returning to the center at around noon when the thug attacked her on the corner of Pennsylvania and Flatlands avenues.
There are two points that need to be made here.
1. If she lived in Starrett City, she is NOT an ultra-Orthodox or Hasidic Jew, but a secular prole Russan Jew and the black youth who slugged her probably wasn’t even aware that she was Jewish.
2. Starrett City itself (which is a huge coop complex off the Belt Parkway close to the border with Queens) is pretty black now (although it started out working-class white) and the area just north of it where she got mugged is one of the blackest neighborhoods in Brooklyn. I’d be afraid to walk there.
The lesson to be learned here is that you should make a lot of money so you can afford to live in a better neighborhood than that.
Left-wing black journalist implies it’s just racism
At the Daily Beast, a left-wing black journalist says that the “knock-out” game is “an overblown panic over a crime wave that doesn’t exist.”
Whew, I feel a lot safer now. I think I will take a walk alone through Bedford Stuyvsant in order to celebrate my new-found safety.

In any event, our black journalist has a factual error in his story. He writes that “the vast majority of young black men don’t commit crimes.” This is actually false, because it has been reported by a liberal organization that 30% of black men will go to prison during their lifetime, and I wouldn’t call 70% a “vast majority,” but rather just a majority. And it’s possible that in a high-crime area like bad neighborhoods in New York City, an actual majority of young black men do commit crimes (even if they are not necessarily caught and sentenced for them).
Knockout game in the NY Post
According to the NY Post article, it’s about blacks attacking Jews for the fun of it:
“He was very strong. I was in shock,” said the 19-year-old from Beersheva, Israel. “I saw a large group of black teenagers coming. I moved to the side to let them pass. Then, all of a sudden, when I was passing right next to them, I felt a punch in the face.
“They just kept walking. They were all laughing,” he told The Post through a Hebrew translator. “They said something right after he punched me, but I don’t understand English. It looked like they were making fun of me.”
Is it possible that these knockout attacks are also happening elsewhere in NYC besides the Jewish areas of Brooklyn, but non-Jewish whites are not organized enough to notice the trend?
And yes, this is a case about prole Jews in Brooklyn trying to make this an issue because they know about the game and they are afraid.
Barry Sugar, head of the Jewish Leadership Council, says he has been asking Mayor Bloomberg and Mayor-elect Bill de Blasio for help with anti-Jewish attacks since August to no avail.
“We were concerned that the candidates weren’t aware of what was happening,” he told The Post. “We made several attempts to reach out to Mr. de Blasio, but our overtures were not met with any kind of response.”
Knockout game in the NY Times
The NY Times finally acknowledges the existence of the knockout game, or rather they acknowledge the existence of people talking about it, because the take of the article is that it’s really an urban myth and the purported knockout-game attacks are just random violence.
Furthermore, the writer of the article deftly implies that people who are talking about the existence of such a game are racist while at the same time completely avoiding reporting that the perpetrators of the attacks are black and the victims white.
One interesting nugget from the article is that the prole whites in predominately Jewish neighborhoods in Brooklyn are taking the threat very seriously.

It goes without saying that if there were equally widespread evidence of whites assaulting blacks in this manner, it would be the number one news story. The mainstream media has a huge double standard.
Has Lion prediction on crime already come true?
I believe that when stop-and-frisk is abolished, we will first start to see increased crime in those gentrifying but not-yet-safe areas that hipsters like to move to. For example, when hipsters first started moving into Crown Heights they got mugged a lot, but then the police starting doing a lot of stop-and-frisk in the area, and that put the fear of the law into would-be muggers and the rate of muggings went down.
Today I read about the knockout game:
As CBS 2’s John Slattery reported, the “game” has been picking up steam in particular in Brooklyn. There have been seven so-called “knockout” or “polar bear” assaults in the Crown Heights and Midwood sections of Brooklyn since October, Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said Wednesday.
The attacks have been caught on camera. People simply walk by and are sucker-punched by the offenders for no apparent reason.
We should note that this has not been reported at the New York Time which has all the news that’s fit to print, because any news that puts black youth in a bad light is not fit to print.
Republicans and Obamacare
NY Times article about Republican strategy to attack Obamacare.
The Republican strategy is entirely a hatchet job of anecdotes and the crappy website, which doesn’t address any of the real issues.
Is it a good idea that people should be able to shop for health insurance online as easily as they can shop for consumer goods at Amazon.com? My answer to that question is a really big yes. Just because the website sucks doesn’t mean the idea of a website was a bad one. If the government can put a man on the moon, then eventually and with enough wasted money, the government can get a website to work.
Should the government mandate what should be covered? My answer to that question is another really big yes, and the reason is that the difference in coverage between health plans is way too complicated for the consumer to understand. Genuine competition between providers can be increased if the government mandates what has to be covered, and then the providers can compete on things that customers can actually understand such as price and customer service.
What about anecdotes? Well here’s my anecdote. I have the same plan next year that I have this year. A few worst-case anecdotes doesn’t mean that Obamacare is bad for the country as a whole. If it sucks for 0.5% of the people, they just need to suck it up. When Social Security was introduced, it sucked for people who were in their twenties at the time, but now everyone loves Social Security. Even Republicans love it. Ronald Reagan loved it.
The end of the filibuster
Senate Democrats are going to abolish the procedural rule that allows the opposing minority party to filibuster the President’s nominees.
This seems like a smart idea for Democrats, given that it’s unlikely that there will ever be another Republican president.
