There’s going to be a Republican debate tonight at 8:00 PM Eastern on CNN.

* * *

I have CNN on the TV now and it’s all anti-Trump propaganda. They unfavorably compared Trump to Reagan (as if liberals at CNN had ever really liked Reagan until today), and now they have sob stories of sympathetic Mexican immigrants harmed by immigration laws.

  1. 1. I’m not going to watch.
    2. The moderators will be obviously in the tank against Donald Trump.
    3. Trump will win the debate anyway.
    4. Trump will say something that will cause outrage among the usual outrage-a-holics.

  2. Any plans to break down the Democratic side of the ticket? Do you see Sanders being successful in his bid for the nomination? Which Dem candidate would be best for the Republicans (i.e. easiest for them to beat in the general election)? While you may not agree with them generally, are there issues where you agree with the Dems on?

    • Many of the early primary states are in the South, which means that the D primaries in that state are majority black. Blacks don’t like Sanders so he has no chance in any Southern state. Sanders can’t win the nomination even if he wins IA and NH.

  3. The CNN ads I’ve heard running on the radio for this debate sound exactly like a boxing match promotion. I think CNN views this as an entertainment show and are billing it as such.

    • The conservative overlord establishment (Fox) tried to trump Trump using party loyalty and the war on women for a blunt and direct political attack. Trump didn’t implode but “dumb” support actually expanded. Defying the first law of political correctness: The media knows who the voters should vote for. Now a liberal CNN has decided to the let the low-polling candidates do the insidious destructive work and fragment the conservative voters. Those for a greater America must lose.

  4. This has become the Media vs Trump. Every debate they try try try to smear and build up somthing to bring down Trump and hopefully pump up someone else to beat him. But the GOP candidates are just too Beta to touch The God Emperor Alpha Male Trump.

  5. The major networks and major media (CNN wasn’t around) went after Reagan relentlessly too. He was a war monger. Possibly unstable. Voodoo economics. Heartless. Ronnie Ray-gun, etc.

    • Well, they were right!

  6. I expect Trump to score on the Syrian ‘refugee’ issue. The elites are discussing it as if American people don’t exist and have no say in the matter. Will be fun.

    • There’s a very good chance he says: “We need to help these people, the Christians, the Yazidis, they’re getting slaughtered by Muslims.”

      The MSM/Dems/Chamber of Commerce would go crazy. And Trump would gain 5 points.

  7. You see this? They’re cutting promos like it’s a sporting event, and are even singing the national anthem before the beginning. They’ve gone all in with this treating politics like pro sports stuff.
