Pizza Rat in the NY Times

Pizza Rat is in the NY Times.

Once again, Lion of the Blogosphere wrote about an important story before the NY Times got to it.

Yet another New York Times article calls Pizza Rat A Mascot for Our Time.

* * *

Meanwhile, the Pizza Rat video which had only half a million views when I first blogged about it is up to 4.6 million views.

  1. I don’t think this is an important story.

    • Yes, it is, if one is able to make an inference that NYC is a dirty dump, which symbolizes what Meriprolestan has become. A 3rd world country that offer goods and services, at 1st world prices.

  2. Reddit and Facebook were also ahead of the NYT.

  4. I found this story, while reading about the guido rat in the NYT article.

    It seems like liberals should keep their word, that diversity is a good thing, especially when it comes to their own neighborhoods and schools. It’s about time, they come to grips with their hypocrisy!

    Yes, I’m sure you caused that.

  6. From the introduction to one of my favorite movies, “Escape from New York”:

    Narrator: In 1988, the crime rate in the United States rises four hundred percent. The once great city of New York becomes the one maximum security prison for the entire country. A fifty-foot containment wall is erected along the New Jersey shoreline, across the Harlem River, and down along the Brooklyn shoreline. It completely surrounds Manhattan Island. All bridges and waterways are mined. The United States Police Force, like an army, is encamped around the island. There are no guards inside the prison, only prisoners and the worlds they have made. The rules are simple: once you go in, you don’t come out.

    • Boy did they get that one wrong. In the actual future, all the rich people will be living in Manhattan, and there will be a huge wall to keep the poor people out of Manhattan.

      • It could be a possibility, which means sweeping all the NAMs out, clearing all the remaining housing projects and swinging a big wrecking ball on the crappy buildings, in order to make way for those glass towers of the 1%.

        But who will engage in menial work, and what about the subways coming from the outer boroughs?

  7. Please Lion, no more rat stories. Those photos from your previous rat post nearly gave me nightmares.

  8. pizza rat is hilarious. i saw a rat in a dunkin donuts once in new york. it’s been a subject of satire that nyc is a dirty dump stretching into the 90s. i remember ‘the critic’ pointing this out.
