Classic beta-male rage

From the latest NY Times article:

For investigators searching for his path to mass murder, he left behind a typewritten manifesto at the scene and a string of on-line postings that showed he had become increasingly interested in other high-profile shootings, angry at not having a girlfriend and bitter at a world that he believed was working against him.

Angry about not having a girlfriend, a classic case of beta-male rage (although in a three-way alpha-beta-omega classification system, it would be omega-male rage).

And there’s further confirmation that Chris Harper-Mercer had Asperger’s Syndrome (or that at least his mother thought he had that):

[Chris’ mother] apparently contributed to online forums dealing with health issues. In one exchange, a writer who appears to be Ms. Harper offered assistance to the mother of a child with Asperger’s syndrome, saying, “I’m a nurse and also have an Aspergers kid.”

The article also says he wore the same outfit every day (aspies like routine) and that he would spend hours talking about guns if someone was willing to listen (aspies will talk endlessly about their special interests).

  1. I love how Jeb Bush handled it – hey stuff happens. He doesn’t even pretend.

What a great president he’d make. There are a lot of betas and omegas in this country. He’ll represent them well indeed.

    • The new line in the sand between left/right/conservative/liberal/populist/capitalist seems to be, now, how badly your feathers are ruffled each and every time shyt hits the fan.

    • Bush 3 lacks empathy.

The question becomes how important is empathy in a president?

      October 3, 2015 at 12:50 am

      • He merely lacks empathy for Americans. Those are not the people he really cares about.

  2. *Far from avoiding social interaction, she said, he frequently shouted at her for smoking on her balcony.*

I don’t know if there’s much to analyse about this person. He really just seems like an asshole who did the worst thing he could imagine, which wasn’t too imaginative. I’m not sure if it’s possible, but it might be a good idea for the media to self-censor with respect to mass shootings like they currently do with suicides. There’s a copycat effect, no doubt.

    October 2, 2015 at 10:37 pm

    • “but it might be a good idea for the media to self-censor with respect to mass shootings”

OOoooooh……. that would be really hard. Mass shootings are mega click bait. I mean who can click just on? cliks equal bucks, so i won’t expect much self censoring.

This is of topic but will you post about that Toy’s R Us who outsourced their American accountants. The dirtiest yet from a major American corporation. Like even STEM workers aren’t safe.

    October 3, 2015 at 12:46 am

    • Domestic American STEM workers have already been replaced by Indians. Especially by big non-IT corporations who don’t want creative people in their IT department, just people who follow orders.

    • And yet, amazingly, the NYT still supports mass “high-skilled,” immigration.

      October 3, 2015 at 11:38 am

    • STEM workers are the ones most in danger from immigrants and outsourcing, at least in Canada. Immigrants trained up to the PhD level have flooded Canada from China, India and Iran. A good portion of STEM grad students are from outside Canada, and most of them never go home. The only exception is fields that require people to go away from cities to study, such as forestry, natural resource science, and wildlife ecology. (I’m not sure about geology). Apparently only white people are interested in going into the wilderness or studying animals. I know someone who recently got a PhD. in an “outdoor” field and he has several good job offers.

      October 3, 2015 at 12:19 pm

    • LOL @ accountants being STEM.

    • I’m a 45 year old electrical engineer, and I save every extra penny in expectation of this. The only reason we are not all gone is that some people who can socially interact with clients are still needed, and there aren’t enough H1Bs above competency level to replace all of us. The small companies are dabbling – experimenting with what percentage of H1Bs is comfortable. They hire an extra American consultant when clients start to make noise, or if an H1B’s productivity falls below about half of an American’s.
What you are describing here as the “dirtiest yet” is known as “what happened last month” to engineers in the US.

  4. the underlying sociosexual reasons for these shootings will never be allowed to be properly analysed by the m,edia or any important intellectual current. scratch behind any male motivation hard enough and inevitably it’ll be about the pussy. the sheer number (and growing) of miserable incel guys suggests there’s something horribly wrong with the sexual marketplace, the statistical distribution of available women, and unreasonably ascending physical standards. the mainstreamization of resistance training and the increasing number of men getting cosmetic surgery is evidence of this. the question however remains: what’s the cause?

    October 3, 2015 at 1:02 am

    • For any guy with a lot on the ball, the company of most women is a great bore.

      October 3, 2015 at 10:43 am

      • Correct, legalized, paid sex for hire, would be a great add on to Meriprolestan’s GDP!

        October 3, 2015 at 1:27 pm

      • Yeah, I think so. That is, unless you couldn’t get girls in your formative years. With those types enough never seems to be enough. Guys from decent families who had normal experiences don’t usually tend to seek endless validation through meaningless sex past their 20’s. Heck even messed up people, if they wise up, should stop seeking validation through poon by the time they’re in their 30’s.

        October 3, 2015 at 1:44 pm

    • That’s true. There’s very little that can be done about it on the societal level. The only solutions are individual. Feminism is unnatural, so it will correct itself over time. But we will be old/dead by then. Even if you get a girlfriend, she will probably go on to the next shiny thing within a month. And if you get married…. well, even centamillionaire celebrities are not safe. All the incentives are in favor of women.

You can expatriate, although that is not feasible for most people. But it is the only way to live in a society with more balanced incentives. And you can reasonably have a wife and family and grow old by the time feminism ruins the society. There’s still time.

But whoremongers and sex mongers… don’t do this. Stay in the degenerate society you came from. Only cool people who believe in traditional values should expatriate and start families where it’s economically feasible. Don’t spread the disease like Roosh.

      October 3, 2015 at 1:39 pm

      • There actually are things that can be done about it on the societal level, but no one cares and no one ever will. The feminists and feminist-sympathizers themselves will never admit the far-reaching effects of their actions and policies. They lack the self-awareness and critical thinking skills to do so.

        October 3, 2015 at 1:41 pm

    • Available women or a shortage of them, is a myth, as with elite jobs, good schools etc…

      October 3, 2015 at 1:43 pm

      • I believe incelness and the mass shootings as a result of it, is strictly, a Meriprolestani thing, and an AngloProleSphere phenomenon in general.

What advice would you give a 15-year-old male who does care about what can be done on the societal level?

        October 3, 2015 at 9:09 pm

    • i think it’s a mistake to assume that a lot of these miserable incel guys all secretly aspire to be ultraplayers (a species of man that barely exists in real life, anyway). i think most of them just want a nice gf. being lonely and alone all the time sucks and “friends” (which they don’t often have in abundance either anyway) are a terrible replacement for a girl who will ditch on you or sideline you for their own romantic partners at any opportunity they get.

  5. I was thinking of ways to stop some of this beta male rage. It might be a good idea to have some structured social activities for people like Chris Harper-Mercer. Ya know, Ross lives up that way and has gone back to school. When I first heard about the shooting I thought he might have finally snapped from playing too many video games. Interestingly, nothing I’ve read about this guy suggests he’s into video games. So many of the others are gamers. This guy does, however, fit the profile. Which is basically anyone who regularly reads 4Chan. They’ve been agitating for a “beta male uprising”. They were even giving this guy advice on how to score the most points against the “normies”. ಠ_ಠ

    October 3, 2015 at 1:32 am

    • Videogames are an excellent way to pass the time for people without girlfriends.

      • Yes, it’s funny that I used to see this guy at an internet cafe, every time when I was there to use its free wifi. I would hear graphic sounds of guns and music blasting from his laptop. He seemed to be a young man in his early to mid 20s.

        October 3, 2015 at 1:32 pm

      • How about volunteering at hospitals, food banks or other places? How about tutoring kids? Or would that require too much focus outside of themselves?

  7. Is it just me or is anyone else INFURIATED with the (apparently) new police/media conspiracy to “filter” essential details of these killers’ backgrounds and self-descriptions of the motivations behind their actions?

The authorities in Virginia REFUSE to release the 23-page “manifesto” (suicide note) of the wacko ex-TV reporter who killed his former co-workers. Note as well that ABC, which was originally sent the material and duly turned it over to police, also REFUSES to release it publicly. Now, we have another “manifesto” (suicide note) left behind at the community college shooting scene in Oregon. All the news organizations refer to it in passing, but I haven’t heard a single one of them demanding its release.

What am I missing here? Are these documents not essential to understanding what demons drove the perpetrators of these outrages to their acts? With highly developed skills at textual deconstructions and interpretation available everywhere today, do these sources not represent a wealth of information for study, consideration, and debate? Instead, we have intensely ideological pundits and ‘experts’ pontificating and reporters digging through various internet ravings and former neighbors’ recollections in order to construct “portraits” of these disturbed individuals that serve only to support their chosen social narratives. All is speculation, conflation, and obfuscation.

Let’s have the raw data, please. Then, we’ll analyze it ourselves and form our own conclusions. What an absolute outrage that these materials are withheld from the “free” American public!
