Donald Trump calls Ted Cruz a pussy

And the crowd goes wild!

* * *

If Scott Adams were here, he would say that in the 2D world, Trump made a blunder by unnecessarily being provocative the night before he’s destined to win a big victory in New Hampshire. Now is the time to play it safe. But in the 3D world of the Master Persuader, he gets himself in the news again, and he has enough plausible deniability that they can’t pin anything on him. Maybe Scott Adams is right.

  1. TRUMP is a man among men.

  2. This Scott Adams logic has the scientific precision of a fortune cookie.

Simpler theory: Trump projects he’s an alpha by doing whatever he wants. It’s not what he does, it’s the fact that you get the sense that he’s behaving in a confident and natural way. Sometimes he does the obviously prudent thing, sometimes not.

Otherwise, you’d have to believe he did all these strategic reasoning in the seconds after he heard the comment.

  3. I don’t know what’s wrong with Trump. Doesn’t he know that to call another man a “pussy” he has to come on LOTB first? Then he’ll follow it up with talk of “the cock carousel” and “pump and dump.”

Seriously, though, he should not have repeated what the woman said. Politics is vulgar enough these days. He could have just said that while he won’t repeat what the woman said, he agrees that Cruz is a wimp.

Do we really want 4 or 8 years of this type of behavior coming from the White House?

    • If it were an ideal world all the candidates would be anti immigration and anti free trade and Trump would be the worst candidate but it isn’t and he ain’t.

      Hell yeah!

      PS: Cruz is a pussy.

    • What Trump is demonstrating is that he smiles upon such behaviour. A thousand women have been wishing that they were the one to call Cruz a pussy, after the smiles that this one received.

Same as when he tells his crowds to knock the crap out of hecklers. He’s nurturing jerk-boy culture.

Call it what you want, but it’s more than “vulgarity”. It’s making me hear echoes of Patton.

    • In the interest of accuracy, the cock carousel only applies to Rubio.

    • You can’t expect him to act the same way if he actually becomes president: he’s courting the voters by being the “bad boy” right now.

Don’t act like the popular presidents of the 20th century weren’t vulgar in private, while acting “presidential” in public, either.

Yes. Everyone knows DC as a place and a way of life is a charade, except for the people living there. Let’s stop being PC and covert about it. Call a spade a spade.

  4. He didn’t personally say it. But he spent 5 minutes driving the point home while also mocking the press and disarming them should they wish to use it against him. Trump is the best and Cruz is a p****.

  5. Well if Trump wins the Presidency in a landslide, you can say Scott Adams called it right. He was saying that when everyone else was saying Trump is going to vanish any second.

    • Yep- this works great.

When things get winnowed down to Trump v Cruz and the press has to pick sides between the two, there is no way that the 4 estaters are going to get on board with torturing randoms people to prove you arent a pussy.

Trump is burning his boats before he drops out of this race post SC.

  8. Trump is fantastic. Funny and personable. There’s an irony that a billionaire with a zero-fucks-given attitude is by FAR the most human and real a politician I’ve seen in my lifetime. The rest are transparently hateful phonies of a political class who HATE the people.

I prefer a foul-mouthed president; a man of the people. Give me a cursing habadasher like Harry Truman over any lawyer puke.

    • Nicely said. Also – I love seeing him reveal how fake these *respectable* candidates are. Do your thing Trump.

BTW, calling someone a pussy is vulgar? So what. Leading a country into endless war, driving the economy into a depression, etc. Hey, at least GW didn’t call anyone names in public. This thinking has brought us here.

      Anyway, it’s gonna be fun!

  14. Results are in for Dixville Notch. Bernie creams Hillary, Repubs are in a 3 way tie. If Trump doesn’t win by double digits, it’s a loss. More loss of swagger. How does the master persuader get around that?

And by the way, Christianity decrees anti-racism. “There is neither Jew nor Greek, male nor female….” Very un-Judaic, very crazy!

        February 9, 2016 at 5:30 pm

      • What does Brown bring that makes him superior to Susana Martinez?

For one he doesn’t bring the “guilt” factor.

Picking Martinez or any other Woman or Latino is just the typical White beta male Republican game of trying to win the approval of people who hate them by pandering to them.

“Please like me, here…I bought you this gift!! Look who I picked as VP!!! See I’m not racist or sexist…I’m a good boy!!! Now please clap… I mean vote for me!!!”

That’s something Jeb Bush or Lindsey Graham would do.

        Rifleman

        February 9, 2016 at 5:36 pm

      • Martinez has gravitas, way more than Scott Brown.

Martinez brings along the GOPe and some centrists and prob minimizes how badly Trump is going to get slaughtered with Latinos. Scott Brown brings 0 to the ticket. Nothing.

    • Just for your record, Marco Rubio is not White. Perhaps “White” in Latin American, racial hierarchical terms, but he is not definitive White in our shores. He’ll never become president anyway. I’m just surprised that no one has call this out.

      February 9, 2016 at 1:55 pm

      • He’d be non-white if he were a Democrat. But Republican, so White Hispanic.

        February 9, 2016 at 5:30 pm

      • Isn’t Marco 100% of Spanish extraction? If not, what is his admixture? Or do you not believe Spaniards are white?

        Curious

        February 9, 2016 at 7:31 pm

      • Marco does not look like a full blooded Spaniard.

A picture of him when he was a young man. I spot native/mestizo ancestry.
