  1. We’ll see if Lion’s account gets suspended by twitter’s ruling council like that McCain guy’s.

    • McCain was suspended because of his involvement in Gamergate. I’m not defending this, just pointing out a fact. Lion will not be suspended.

  2. The witch bribed Nevada’s union thugs good and early.

With the Democrat primary moving to South Carolina next, the black vote should be enough for her to become the nominee.

      A fiasco by what standards?

Tonight Nevada followed standard Democrat primary operating procedures.

This is fun, Krauthammer lying to himself on Fox about Trump:

      • By the standards of honesty and legality.

Neither has any place in a Democratic primary or in Vegas. Let alone a Democratic primary held in Vegas.

This is fun, Krauthammer lying to himself on Fox about Trump:

He’s hopeless. Backing Kasich is the smarter establishment move, and smarter only because it would be moderately less disastrous than Rubio.

      • He’s not wrong in his analysis at all. The conservative Republican (i.e.: anti-Trump) vote is consolidating more and more with each passing primary, but it remains nearly equally divided between Cruz and Rubio, which is allowing Trump to eke out quite modest plurality wins. He’ll plurality his way to the nomination unless there is more consolidation among conservatives, which will require ALL of the “also-rans” to drop out, or if there is some sort of powerful momentum behind either Rubio or Cruz that leaves the other in the dust.

      • Reasons people support Rubio, electable.

Reminds me of 1980 and the reasons given for supporting either HW Bush over Reagan or John Anderson over Reagan, that Reagan wasn’t electable.

BTW – if you are Nikki Haley do you view your endorsement of Rubio and Trump’s victory as a rebuke by the public or do you view Rubio’s better than expected win as a sign you have pull? Clearly, Haley’s all in on the Wonder Boy will pull this off theory.

        Yes he is.

So far Trump’s plurality wins have netted him 61 out of 90 delegates. He can keep winning pluralities and still go into the convention with a large majority.

The last obstacle in Trump’s obstacle to the nomination is Rubio, whom Trump will easily tear to pieces.

  4. I think that the race has tightened up quite a bit in SC and that Trump will only squeak out a win, which the MSM will play up. But as we go into economically distressed states, and the West, Trump will break out and annihilate the rest.

    gothamette

    February 20, 2016 at 5:36 pm

    • Well, states don’t come too much more distressed than South Carolina (36th in unemployment now, but formerly in the high 40’s for last few years), but we know what you meant – Rust Belt and Great Lakes.

      February 20, 2016 at 7:17 pm

      • Yeah, so if a Cruz guy wants to find something positive in this disaster (exit polls Trump 30%, Cruz 26%, Rubio 23%, Bush 6%) I’ll need to dig deep but it’s exactly what you say. South Carolina has been devastated by the collapse of the textile manufacturing and are most susceptible to Trump’s phony “I’ll bring back the crappy, low wage jobs that went to China”.

        Also the exit polls showed:

Tells it like it is -> Trump
        Shared my values -> Cruz
        Electable -> Rubio

What Cruz needs to do is reframe the question to “proven to do what he says”. So far he hasn’t been able to do that.

      • Right, but SC has so many Christians and ex-mil….not Trump’s natural constituency. Still, I see right now he’s ahead by double digits against Rubio/Cruz. So we’ll see. A double digit win would mean the race is over now. GOPe has plenty of time to figure out how to steal it from him.

Which were replaced in America by even crappier and even lower wage jobs.

  8. Trump just tweeted “I would be happy with a one-vote victory.” He probably know it’s a lot closer than expected. I wonder how much he would have to win by for the media to call it a real win.

  11. Lol at all the anti Trump usual suspects who comment here. How does it feel to be wrong, again?

The polls were right and they will continue to be right outside of non caucus states that aren’t dominated by stupid Christians. If it wasn’t for the stupid Christians stealing IA from us this race would already be over.

I’m glad that Rubio is beating Cruz for 2nd place. The stupid Christians and TruCons who are backing Cruz have now been shown decisively that they have no chance whatsoever. Time for the reasonable amongst them to switch to Trump. Cruz is worthless when he can’t thump his Bible.

    • I never said Christians are stupid. Don’t put words in my mouth. Trump won the Christian vote. He lost the “stupid Christian” vote, however, because stupid Christians love people like Cruz, Carson and Rubio.

As for being a sore winner, it was Cruz’s people who started it after they stole IA from us. They were all over the internet pronouncing Trump dead and siding with the left and the open borders crowd.

Despite all that, I said all along I liked Cruz and would vote for him if he won the nomination, the problem is that Cruz could never win a general election in a billion years and didn’t even have a path to win the primary. He can’t even break 3rd place when he can’t thump his Bible. But if by some miracle he won the nomination, I would vote for him, as would 99%+ of Trump’s die hard fans. Yet this has not been reciprocated by Cruz’s fans who have developed severe TDS and threaten to vote for Hillary after every Trump primary win.

  12. I guess the race now comes down to whether the party can get enough of the Bush/Kasich/Carson people to vote for Rubio against Trump. But it sounds as if Carson and Kasich are not dropping out, and Rubio wouldn’t get 100% of those votes anyway. Trump may also get some of Cruz’s supporters who were on the fence. I saw that since 1980, SC and NH have always gone to the ultimate winner, so Trump should win. The question would already be settled if it weren’t for some stupid things he’s been saying.

      • Oh also, saying Planned Parenthood “does wonderful things” was both strategically and morally wrong. Even if you are okay with abortion, Planned Parenthood are devils. If he really thinks its referrals for mammograms are irreplaceable and justify its existence, there were things he could have said without praising them like that.

And saying “I like the mandate” was a needless strategic error. He should simply have said that we’ll still provide emergency care (“people dying in the streets”) without supporting the “mandate” that TruCons hate. I don’t care about Obamacare, but he’s trying to win an election.

        February 21, 2016 at 9:56 am

      • Otis, they are feminists who set arbitrary cut-offs for when a human becomes a human just because that is the feminist thing to do. The behavior of their reps in the undercover videos was disgustingly cavalier. Less importantly, the videos proved that they are breaking the law by changing their abortion procedures solely for the purpose of harvesting of samples, which the law explicitly prohibits.

Your ignore-all-else, morality-be-damned obsession with eugenics is very dangerous – not less dangerous than an increasing number of Black babies.

  14. I wonder who Carson would side with if he dropped out. He has stayed pretty neutral and gone for the soft-spoken vote except for the issue with Cruz. I don’t mind Carson. He might be the most anti-Islam candidate and he seems like a good guy. I was thinking he might make a good VP for Trump, but maybe he isn’t a good enough debater.
