George Zimmerman gun auction

Follow the link.

It will be interesting to see if people actually want to own this gun. I personally wouldn’t want it, even if it wasn’t horribly prole, because I have no room to display knicknacks and curios.

I also don’t see the point of slaving away for The Man just so you can afford to buy a bunch of useless stuff like this.

It looks like the Zimmerman pistol was removed from the site. I guess the owners of the site didn’t like all of the bad publicity.

  1. “I also don’t see the point of slaving away for The Man just so you can afford to buy a bunch of useless stuff like this.”

You aren’t female. Sure, there are guys who are hoarders and collectors of stuff but I suspect from personal experience they are a small fraction of the females who are afflicted with hoarding and collecting disease. Just wait until your parents get older and your mother, as entertainment, starts buying tons of knick knacks from second hand stores. It doesn’t happen to every old woman but it happens to a lot of them. The young women, of course, bankrupt themselves buying clothes they do not need.

    May 12, 2016 at 9:15 am

    • And what percentage of people buying guns on that site do you think are women?

  2. Haha, knew it was a Kel tec because it looks like my .380. They’re actually made in Florida.

    • Do you personally know people who’ve had jamming problems with Mel-Tecs?

      May 12, 2016 at 1:18 pm

      • I don’t know anyone else here who owns one. I had to do some work on mine with a dremel to smooth out loading ramp or whatever it’s called. The machining was kinda crude.

  3. “because I have no room to display knicknacks and curios”

Collecting morbid oddities used to be a hobby of mine, and I’ll still occasionally add something to my collection. One thing I’ve noticed over the years is that most people who collect these sorts of things rarely display them. All of my stuff is packed away in storage bins, with the exception of an antique human skull, which is probably the least offensive part of my collection. It’s a hobby that makes you seem creepy and weird so I mostly keep it to myself.

I wouldn’t be interested in buying Zimmerman’s gun from Zimmerman and I’d never consider paying anything close to $5,000+ for it. If I could buy it for more like $2,000 from a third party, I’d consider it.

It looks like the auction is down.

    • The rule of thumb is that if you have display cases you’re a collector and if you don’t you’re a hoarder.

      May 12, 2016 at 12:58 pm

      • That’s not a bad rule of thumb, but I don’t think it applies to collecting morbid things. Like I said, it’s a hobby that makes you seem creepy and weird and something that’s usually best kept to yourself. It’s also a very prole hobby. If I liked Nascar or Stephen King books, I’d probably keep that to myself too.

  4. George Zimmerman is an indisputable boss.

He endured years of total hate from all across America including by the Obama administration. The entire left sought to destroy him. He came out of it not shattered and broken recluse like most people would be, but as an unbent rebel completely certain that he is right, living openly in the same town where it all went down, and rather pleased with himself. He is a little bit fatter and his guns are very much larger, and he has gone from apologetic neighborhood watchman to trolling shitlord.

This is partly due to him being a little bit stupid and very prole, but it is cool to behold nonetheless.

    • His life in his shambles and he’s had a bunch more trashy run ins with the law. The same thing happened to Sherman McCoy at the end of the Bonfire of the Vanities.

      May 12, 2016 at 12:56 pm

      • “His life in his shambles” — bah! He is a prole who didn’t have much of a job or career or education to begin with. You talk as if something was ruined. He struts around with his prole life like the boss of his prole town. Nothing much has changed for him.

Sherman McCoy was a WASP bond trader, Zimm wasn’t anything.

If anything, Zimm is more successful than ever. He sold a painting for six figures in 2013 and apparently supports himself with his in-demand painting. That vaults him from low prole to the upper crust of self-actualization, lol. Who gets to sell their paintings for six figures, one person in a million? It is really elite to support yourself nicely with your art while having no actual talent, no? Look at his pic in Wikipedia. He looks happy as a clam.

The SJW who tried to go after him meanwhile rots in prison. Zimmerman’s dumb, happy existence brings a sea of salty tears from lefties everywhere. In 2016, where so many are cowed manlets, that has to be the very definition of success.

      • You made a good point!

Hispanics are indisputably the most alpha group in America, not controlling for their educational attainment and their social hierarchy. Alpha defined as not giving a damn about anything, and doing what is necessary to survive against the backdrop of the establishment.

They will simply take over this country by their sheer numbers and their resourcefulness.

Now let’s look at the other demographic groups and the words that define them.

        Whites – Entitlement Complex
        blacks – Whining Victimhood
        Asians – Status Quo Strivers

  11. Zimmerman will sell it somewhere else, because this is America. Zimmerman eventual sale won’t be stopped, and the left will cry again. What will the left do, shame him with a twitter mob? He already got kicked off twitter for tweeting naked pics of exes and snuff porn that he created himself.

  13. In all the state polls over the last week or so, Trump is either even to where Romney finished versus Obama or ahead of those same numbers.

The one exception is Massachusetts, where Romney only lost by 23 points but Trump is down 25 to Hil.

To be fair, if Trump was facing Obama his numbers would be way worse than they currently are against Hillary.

Hillary’s toxicity will ultimately rally 99% of the NeverTrumpers, and Trump will be able to get some crossover Dems as well as bring out new voters, but the Dems have such a structural advantage that it is still very tough for any Republican to win.

It ends up being more about Hillary then anything else. Can she turn out the Obama coalition? If she does, Trump can’t win. If she doesn’t, Trump wins a close one.

  16. LA Times, 05/12/16 – Online auction of gun George Zimmerman used to kill Trayvon Martin is back on

George Zimmerman’s first attempt to auction off the 9mm pistol he used to kill Trayvon Martin in 2012 was over before it ever began. Now he’s trying again. In a text, Zimmerman on Thursday told the Orlando (Florida) Sentinel the first gun-auction website,, was not “prepared for the traffic and publicity surrounding the auction of my firearm. It has now been placed with another auction house.” It is now for sale at with a starting bid of $5,000.

The gun was removed from just minutes before bidding was supposed to start Thursday., in a statement, said it wants “no part in the listing on our website or in any of the publicity it is receiving.”…

Zimmerman, a former Sanford, Fla., Neighborhood Watch volunteer, told Orlando Sentinel news partner WOFL-TV that he just got the gun back from the U.S. Department of Justice.

“They took it after my trial, after I was exonerated,” he said…

In the listing, Zimmerman says a portion of the proceeds would go toward fighting alleged violence against law enforcement by the Black Lives Matter movement and to stop what he called anti-firearm rhetoric made by Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

The proceeds will also help pay for efforts to end the career of Angela Corey, who led the prosecution against Zimmerman, according to the post.

[Hillary] Clinton indirectly responded with a tweet saying she’s thinking of Martin’s mother, followed by a link to the Trayvon Martin Foundation.

“Sybrina, you and all mothers of gun violence victims have taught us hate will never win,” the tweet reads.

Martin’s family released a statement saying the foundation is focused on ending “senseless gun violence.”

“We are laser focused on furthering that mission. As such, the foundation has no comment on the actions of that person that murdered Trayvon,” the statement reads.

During the call with WOFL, Zimmerman said if he doesn’t sell the gun, it will go in a safe and “never be used or seen again.” He said he’s received death threats and has decided not to cower.

He also said he thinks its “time to move past the firearm.” “I’m a free American,” he told WOFL. “I can do what I want with my possession.”

  17. Zim is a turd. If one can not handle a 170 pound 16 year old, then stay in the truck. Yes, the shooting was justified, but Zim is a big P. The situation should have been handled with one punch and Zim was not man enough to end the confrontation quickly.

      • was Zim always racist or did the experience make him so?

Why was he doing the vigilante stuff when he knew he couldn’t fight a lick?

Just more cognitive dissonance in America.

It’s get more depressing by the day.

Here’s a Times Sq minute for you:

Thug hugger punches a Canadian tourist after giving her a free hug, but punches her, when he asked her for a tip and she refused. What’s depressing about this guy is that he had 16 prior arrests and was still on the streets.

It’s already a police state in Times Sq., when it comes to terrorism, so why don’t cops ban these animals from going there!

      • And NYC is no world class city, just a cesspool of low brow wealth with 3rd world undertones. I’m almost in the process of removing myself from it. A city does not become great, when these miscreants are running around.

        May 12, 2016 at 11:12 pm

    • Trayvon was 17 not 16. Regardless, he got exactly what he deserved. It’s called “self-defense”. And I’m more concerned about his unprovoked attack against Zimmerman than whether Zimmerman was a “big P”.

      May 12, 2016 at 8:53 pm

    • Sir, I say this to you with no malice whatsoever: you are a either a moron, or else someone who simply has not lived. It is extremely rare for any confrontation, i.e.where neither party’s back is turned, to end with one punch. I myself have been the victim of the black knockout game. I took it full in the face and didn’t go down, and I only weighed 170. I have also punched a dindu in the face, and nearly broke my hand. Turns out blacks are armored. Through years of basketball, I learned that almost any black guy anywhere near my weight is 50% stronger – that’s just the way it is. Unless a white guy is in triathlon-type shape, he’s not going to be able to hold off a black high school football player from choking him to death. And this is also the reason why Martin attacked the heavier Zimm in the first place – no black kid in America has ever seen a bro beaten in a fair fight by a white. I heard about one such case once; one day when I didn’t show up for our usual game in Berkeley, supposedly some Russian kid decked one of our regular black troublemakers. But like I say, I wasn’t there. Please try disagreeing with a black guy about something some time, anything at all. To get the best effect, employ a little sarcasm, they respond to that.

      May 13, 2016 at 3:11 am

      • no black kid in America has ever seen a bro beaten in a fair fight by a white.

A black kid who sees another black kid in a fight with a white won’t just stand there and watch it, so that it stays fair, he’ll attack the white kid and turn it into one of those animalistic, savage mob stompings you can easily see on youtube.

        May 13, 2016 at 9:38 am

      • I learned that almost any black guy anywhere near my weight is 50% stronger

I’ve sometimes wondered if this is true. In my late teens and again in my late 20s, I trained in a serious boxing gym and had six amateur matches (3 – 3). I could always hold my own in my weight class against a White guy. But the few times a sparred with a black, I could feel his extra strength and quickness.

Also in between boxing, I took a few Judo lessons at the local Y. I did very well against the White guys, but one time I had to spar with a quiet, studious-looking, not-particularly athletic black guy. He had 50 non-muscular pounds over me but effortlessly tossed me around like I was a rag doll.

  18. Wow…a kid (who was unarmed) is dead and he got away with it. Is this something to celebrate? I don’t care if you hate blacks or believe blacks to be inherently inferior to everyone on the planet. The verdict isn’t something to celebrate. He’s not a hero, even if you think the shooting was justified.

And I just love the comment above, claiming that Zimmerman is the true victim of all this.

    May 12, 2016 at 8:48 pm

    • “Is this something to celebrate?”

Yep. One less violent criminal to victimize others in the future.

        May 13, 2016 at 9:35 am

      • You mean George Zimmerman, right? The guy who has an extensive criminal record?

        May 13, 2016 at 12:49 pm

      • Zimmerman didn’t have an “extensive criminal record”. He’s never been convicted of anything.

        May 13, 2016 at 8:32 pm

    • And Harold, go get a fucking clue. They’re free.

      May 12, 2016 at 10:25 pm

    • Fists and feet are deadly weapons, responsible for far more murders every year than the feared and reviled “assault weapons” that the Pink Tyrants so desperately want to ban and confiscate.

Unarmed is untrue. Zimmerman (who is, frankly, a crass fool, but even a stopped clock is right twice a day), had every right to be where he was, and every right to do what he did leading up to the “fight” (a one sided beatdown, hardly a fight). And thus every right to defend himself with the tools that he had. As the old saying goes, God may have made man, but it took Sam Colt to make him equal.

The left attempted to subject Zimmerman to one of their favorite tactics, the politics of personal destruction (which, as usual, they project onto the right). He survived this, which is why many celebrate him. Of course he is a true victim.

Trayvon may have been a victim of his upbringing and the society which teaches young black men that being thuggish is a good thing, but in the end, sane people are responsible for their actions, and people who respond to verbal confrontation with a beatdown on the street shouldn’t be surprised when it ends with a bullet. Weep for a young life lost if you want, but a verdict of not guilty is certainly worth celebrating in a world where the “narrative” is expected to prevail over fact and law.

    • The 911 operator told Zim to sit his ass in his vehicle, but no… Put yourself in Trayvon’s Jordans for a moment. Some guy is stalking you.

Then profiting from the sale of this gun? It’s beyond crass. If he didn’t have it, they’d both (in all likelihood) still be alive.

      May 13, 2016 at 12:37 am

      • “The 911 operator told Zim to sit his ass in his vehicle”

No. She told him he didn’t need to follow the suspect.

“Put yourself in Trayvon’s Jordans for a moment. Some guy is stalking you.”

The transcript with the police makes it clear that Zimmerman was watching from a distance when Trayvon saw him watching him and talking on the phone. After that Trayvon took off running which is a suspicious act, especially for a person wandering in a strange neighborhood. Later the witness heard two people running one after another past her residence, looked outside and saw Trayvon on top of Zimmerman. No chance at all Zimmerman was chasing Trayvon and caught him. Trayvon was chasing Zimmerman.

Trayvon was likely wasted on the drug cocktail Lean.

Strangers get stared at all the time when they are unknown. It isn’t sufficient reason to start a fight. Not even if you are a black kid who thinks he’s been dissed. Believe it or not dissing a black kid isn’t sufficient justification for an assault.

        Nevertheless, Zimmerman has lousy timing.

        May 13, 2016 at 10:35 am

      • “Put yourself in Trayvon’s Jordans for a moment. Some guy is stalking you.”

I am certain that Trayvon saw Zimmerman as someone who lived there who didn’t like the look of a black ghetto youth walking around the complex. Trayvon was never afraid of him except to the extent that he’s normally wary about authority figures like security guards and cops. But after talking to his girl friend on his cell phone, he felt like he needed to prove his manliness by beating up the short fat guy dissed him in order to teach him a lesson.

      • “The 911 operator told Zim to sit his ass in his vehicle, but no… Put yourself in Trayvon’s Jordans for a moment. Some guy is stalking you. ”

The evidence indicated that Martin had reached the condo in which he was staying. At that point to be safe he just had to go inside. Instead he returned to confront Zimmerman. Martin was unlucky that Zimmerman was armed but that doesn’t make Zimmerman guilty of anything. Zimmerman was carrying legally and under Florida law was allowed to shoot in self-defense. The prosecution had no case and charges should not have been brought.

        James B. Shearer

        May 13, 2016 at 9:19 pm

      • Vince — Since when does a dispatcher have the authority to issue lawful commands? They don’t. Zimmerman has every right to walk around his own neighborhood. But Trayvon did not have the right to knock him down, get on top and beat his head into the concrete. Trayvon was looking for a bullet. And that’s exactly what he found. Good riddance.

        May 14, 2016 at 5:39 am

      • Right, Zimmerman had the right to look around his own condo complex. But he would have been smarter to follow Derbyshire’s advice to stay away from black youth.

  21. The proceeds will also help pay for efforts to end the career of Angela Corey, who led the prosecution against Zimmerman, according to the post.

I actually wrote to FL Gov. Rick Scott to express my displeasure with his weak, PC, political decision to appoint Special Prosecutor Angela Corey to prosecute Zimm after the local cops and local prosecutor justifiably declined to prosecute after a thorough examination of the facts.

I’m doing more of that now – emailing local, state, and federal elected officials to express my opinions and request their support on certain issues.
