Good news for Trump in Virginia!

The latest Virginia poll shows Trump tied with Clinton.

Obama beat Romney by nearly 4 points in Virginia (51.16% – 47.28%), so polls are continuing to break in Trump’s direction.

  1. And the liberals still don’t get it. They still just assume Hillary is going to win in a landslide.

This isn’t denial. This is just straight up delusion. If you go to a liberal website they are all saying that they can’t lose because Trump can’t win blacks and hispanics. I have never seen such mass disconnect with reality.

    These people are insane.

    • You are right that many are delusional, but not this guy. This guy is scared of Trump.

  2. In other news, anti-immigration Austrian presidential candidate Norbert Hofer lost the elections after coming out in the lead yesterday with 51.8% of the vote. He lost after the postal vote ballots were counted, just as expected.

Trump must win by a comfortable margin, anything less and he will be cheated out of winning.

  3. OT: The Freddie Gray cop was just found not guilty. Ghetto explosions sure to follow, further adding to Trump’s lead.

    • OT: I don’t know what you guys think about him becoming the next mayor of Manhattan:

Would you rather have him to look over you, than the current lumprenprole of city hall? He has more money and social status.

  4. I wish NOVA was a part of Maryland, Trump would win Virginia in a landslide.

  5. Lion, as you predicted, gals are warming up to Trump. If he starts pointing to this, it may have a social proof effect IMHO.

  7. Lion: we need you to tell us what the endgame is visa vi Sanders?

On one hand, Sanders is a coward who seems like he would like to concede after the roll call vote.

On the other hand, his supporters are frickin’ nuts. They want to blow this shit up. Can Sander’s contain them? Does he even want to?

And what about BLM? They HATE Bernie and his supporters with a murderous passion. They are planning on being in Philly too. Will they attack the herb Bernie fans?

    • It’s “vis–à–vis”, not “visa vi”. Though a pithier alternative is WRT (with respect to).

  8. Trump cant get above 44%- thats not a winning formula. As Mitt correctly observed Democrats start at 47%.

In this poll Trump is tied at 38. We are supposed to think that is a good thing?

    • Dems start at 46%.

Blacks: 11 points total, 10 for the Dems.
Hispanics: 11 points total, 8 for the Dems.
Other Minorities: 6 points total, 5 for the Dems.

Liberal whites: 23 points total, 23 for the Dems.

All numbers are worse case scenario for the Dems. 43% is the absolute worst the Dems are capable of doing in the 2016 Presidential election, but that would require them running a terrible candidate who simultaneously alienates whites while failing to inspire minorities to turn out and the Republicans running a guy who could both win a large share of the white vote and also inspire whites to turn out in massive numbers. Would likely also require a very bad economy; like 2009 bad.

Trump CAN get 53% or so, but that will definitely not happen barring everything going right, including a recession, stock market crash and series of terrorist attacks.

Much more likely is Trump 49, Hil 50.

    • It’s not great news for Clinton either since she has ‘incumbent’ problems where her decades long familiarity caps how much room she has to grow.

    • Young Mitt did not factor in what happens when you tell the 47 per cent how soon the free stuff will stop for almost everybody if you elect a sad elderly cheated-on white lady like Hillary. If the key to the election is economics, there is no state that lucky rich kid Mitt lost by less than 5 percent that energetic Donald cannot win with this strategy, as long as he doesn’t pull too many arrogant Howard Stern moves on the social conservative base in the swing states.

    • I thought Trump couldn’t get above 33%? Oh wait….

You fail to factor in his strong showing with Hispanics and the fact that he is liable to pull 15%+ with African Americans (conservatively). If he does that, its all over bar the moaning.

Plus there’s the embarrassment factor – many of those who will vote for Trump are liable to lie and say they won’t. This will mean that the polls will underestimate Trump’s vote % – probably quite badly, and to the extent that the Dems will be crying foul – or just crying.

    • Bush beat Kerry in 2004 and people were asking whether it was the end of the Democrats. McCain and Romney lost and people ask whether it’s the end of the GOP. it’s a dumb question that only a stupid person would ask. Politics is constantly evolving. Not only candidates but parties and voters as well. There will never be only one viable party in a representative republic. Because, as circumstances change, factions realign. Trump is in the process of doing that right now. I don’t know if he’ll be successful. But I’m not the only one who sees it. Google “trump realign”.

By the way, Romney doesn’t even believe what he’s saying. If he did then he wouldn’t have run in 2012. He just doesn’t want Trump to win. A number of political families and special interests don’t. The realignment is going to wreck their agenda — and I’m glad!

      • One of the few upsides of a Trump nomination is the press has been forced to up their hysterical headlines even further (Extinction Level Event!).

I agree with you on the tendency to over state things- in reality if Obama wasnt currently President then there would currently be panic about the Dems being wiped out of the levers of government from the States up and just clinging to power in isolated coastal bastions.

If the Dems lose this Presidential election things dont look good for them because the extreme age of their current leadership and the lack of a bench. And if a crazy, rumpled Socialist can raise $100M then every bright young thing in the upcoming crop will run as a Socialist.

The key to the whole thing is having your base turn out and depressing the other guys vote. Obama did well in 2012 because he way, way over performed in turning out his people. The calculation that Otis runs above is inaccurate because the make up of the registered population isnt as important as the make of the people who actual cast votes.

Trump isnt interested in data analytics, probably because he doesnt own such a company and this would be real green dollars out the door instead of him ‘loaning’ money to his campaign to buy services from a company he controls. He’d rather hold big Munich Beer Hall rallies so I dont think this is going to end well.

  9. Obama beat Romney by nearly 4 points in Virginia (51.16% – 47.28%),

Obama might still have lost Virginia and other states if he hadn’t won 97% of the black vote nationwide and on exceptionally high black turnout, neither of which Clinton is likely to get. I’d like to see what the 2012 election looks like if, holding all else equal, black voting and turnout is adjusted back to the normal levels 2016 is likely to witness.

  10. Ever the optimist, former Philadelphia mayor and Pennsylvania governor Ed Rendell said Trump has won over the attractive women, but there are a lot more ugly women in America and the uglies are solidly behind Hillary.

    Mark Caplan

    May 23, 2016 at 10:02 pm

    • Yes, but do the ugly women know they are ugly?

      May 24, 2016 at 12:12 am

      • No, black women always think they are sexy, even after crossing over into the 150+ lbs range.

        May 24, 2016 at 8:44 am

      • 151 pounds isn’t a lot of weight, especially not on a black woman.

      • Large numbers of black men prefer fat (or even obese) women. Many Hispanics and Arabs do as well.

        Lewis Medlock

        May 24, 2016 at 11:31 am

      • Non-White Hispanics and the more Arabid looking Arabs like chunky women.

        May 24, 2016 at 12:40 pm

      • Leon is right that 150 isn’t that much. The average teenage girl might weigh 130-135. But 145-150 is about right for a grown woman of average height and build. People have a distorted perception because women lie about their weight. Even smoking hot celebrities will say they’re 130 when they’re really 150+. Guys might even be worse. I’ll bet half the guys claiming to be 6’0 are less than 5’11. That’s not to say there aren’t a lot of 6’0 guys. But most of them say they’re 6’1. LOL

        May 25, 2016 at 2:45 am

    • He didn’t say that. He said America’s majority of women will not be voting for Trump, and its because they’re probably all ugly.

The Manosphere chumps are out chiming their non-sense once again, claiming that Alpha males such as Trump, get all the hot women supporters, when in fact, their alpha male ideology was always based on beta standards (or actually based those set by omega losers), who don’t get any p*ssy, period — which goes back to Rendell’s comment about most American women being ugly, that sets the bar for the Manosphere.

  11. Speaking of Virginia, Clinton and McAuliffe are under investigation for taking Chinese money. This is interesting because McAuliffe recently signed an order allowing hundreds of thousands of convicted felons to vote in the election. It doesn’t take a genius to know this will help Hillary. Nor does it take a genius to see why China would want to defeat Trump. China is meddling in US elections — not that Democrats care. Dems will always side with America’s enemies.
