  1. Le sigh.

Nowhere in that article does it state that Curious George converted to Islam.

    • You bet that’s an epic fail. Too bad you don’t have a clue who is epically failing.

    • Saying “le sigh” is annoying but everything else is right on target

  2. This woman made a lot of dumb noise in the New Yorker after the Orlando shooting.

    • America the evasive. A Muslim didn’t kill those people in Orlando hate did it. Which means people most tarred as ‘haters’ are to blame.

  4. Why is it a big deal I dunno. In fact What’s the problem? Everybody likes Curious George and that’s a good thing.

  5. Curious George has likely had Christmas and Hanukah stories as well.

    Not particularly a big deal.

    • Yes, there are Christmas and Hanukah Curious George books too. I wonder if any have actual religious content.

    • Islam is a sick and murderous death cult. The Jewish and Christian holidays are just fun that don’t involve jihad and other mayhem.

Islam and Muslims need to leave. They don’t belong here.

Putting Islam in a curious George story is one more sick symptom of an ailing and diseased society.

      That is the big deal.

  6. “There’s a very dangerous narrative about Islam being spread”

Great world we live in where facts are narratives and narratives are facts. What narrative might that be? That Islamic converts are distinguishable by the degree to which they are willing to kill non believers?

  7. No mention of the annual Ramadan bombathon and violence bonanza that is an integral part of the holiday?

  8. Could be offensive to muslims. But then again what isn’t.

I hear the Iranians love taunting their enemies as the descendants of “pigs and apes”, something like that.

And now a Curious little ape is interested in Islam? It’s a Shanda.

  9. Note also the use of the phrase “sacred month.” These liberal journalists are always, apparently unironically and unselfconsciously, writing as though they are Islamic believers, using phrases like “the Holy Koran” and “the Prophet Mohammed.” Of course, being good modern secular liberals, they don’t really believe Islam any more than they believe Christianity, but just try to imagine them writing “the Holy Bible” or “the Lord Jesus Christ.”

  10. I heard that Khan’s next project will remake “The Flying Nun” for today’s multicultural America. It will be re-named “The Flying Imam” and Yusuf Islam is considering writing the theme song.

    • You raise a serious point. Is there any clerical role for women in Islam?

  11. I understand that in the follow up book, the man in the big yellow taqiyah helps Curious George join ISIS.
