Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel, immigrant from an Islamic country
That’s the name of the truck driver in Nice. He was born in Tunisia (according to The Telegraph), but all mainstream news sources have avoided calling him an immigrant, and most just call him a “French-Tunisian man.”
Tunisia was a French protectorate from 1881–1956, but since 1956 has been an independent nation. Tunisians are NOT French citizens.
