    • I could see the appeal of going to a black church. It has black liveliness and vigor and the people are on their best behavior. If I had to have regularly immerse myself with blacks I could see going to a black church as the best way to accomplish that.

  2. O.T.: Someone wrote a post here within the past day or two, but I can’t find it now. It provided a link to a Youtube video that showed Hillary Clinton being interviewed and it looked as if she had some kind of small seizure. I saw the video and her reflex was clearly involuntary. Those around her laughed, probably unaware that she wasn’t doing it deliberately to be funny. After it was over she tried to pretend it was the chocolate flavored iced drink she’d just had that caused the embarrassing bobble of her head. Clearly, she knew some explanation was in order.

I don’t know what to make of this. Any speculations?

    • My just speculation is that when push comes to shove (when Meriprolestan descends into a Bedlamville), self denial leftists will be saving their own skin, and thus revealing their nature. The black population will become more restive, as we approach the 2nd decade of the 21st century. This is when our country tries to becomes a Brazil on steroids. We won’t even be a Brazil – a racial democracy!

      • Well, since JS didn’t address the question I raised, I guess no one wants to comment on whether Hilary will get another of these seizures and have to withdraw as nominee. I wish her only good health, and hope that she doesn’t have to withdraw (the Democrats, after all, did nominate her and are entitled to have her as their candidate if she is healthy enough to run.) But if she can’t last as nominee through November due to her health, I’m wondering what the procedure would be for selecting another nominee. Would it go to Sanders, as he got the second-highest total of votes? Or would Kaine get it?

        July 24, 2016 at 5:19 pm

      • If Hillary is elected, the Democratic party and the entire country will implode in the coming years, as their socialist policies can no longer bandaid/sustain the recurring black problem.

Furthermore, the right-o-sphere also does not want a racial democracy, meaning, every race is seen as equal, and thus it will find a way to stop it, especially with what we are going through now.

America is entirely a lost cause, going forward!

    • JS does tend to do that sometime…

  3. All of the above, dawg. You unnastan?

  4. Well, I don’t think it’s for the same reason Dylann Roof attended a black church, if that’s what you’re implying. Kaine, on some level, self-identifies as black:

    Wednesday, July 6, 2016

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Tim Kaine applauded unanimous House passage of a bipartisan bill that would recognize the resilience and contributions of African Americans to the United States since 1619. Kaine introduced the Senate version of the 400 Years of African American History Commission Act. The bill would establish a commission to plan programs and activities across the country in 2019 to highlight the arrival and influence of Africans in America.

  6. I’m guessing the “blackness” of this church has been overstated. It is not like the church where Jake and Elwood Blues found the Reverend Cleophus James. It was probably also “whiter” when Tim and his wife, the governor’s daughter, got married there in 1983 by the Rev. Michael Schmied, who appears to be very white if I found the right guy in google pictures.

    • tamir, there is a life-sized black Jesus crucifix hanging in the church.

The link is to there website, so it appears to be about a fifty/fifty mix. Also the pastor is white, so calling this a black church seems to be following the one drop rule.

  8. Kaine is a Catholic. Catholics are considered part of the parish in which they live, and are expected to attend their local church. Perhaps his local Catholic church is predominantly black.

    • Why are the Kaines living in a poor black neighborhood, then? Are they gentrifying hipsters?

  9. I can’t seem to vote. It wants me to register for something-or-other.

    • Catholic means universal, there is no reason to suspect Kanes of insincerity. Kane had worked in Guatemala for a Catholic mission school. I’m saying there are no political underpinnings to their choice of a church. False suspicions Lion.

  10. Maybe he enjoys gospel music.
