Please vote for Trump

I’ve repeatedly said that the ideal President would have Mitt Romney’s demeanor, with Trump’s policies on immigration and Hillary Clinton’s tax plan. But that guy isn’t running for office, and he may not even exist anywhere. And if he did exist, who knows if he’d do as well at the polls as Trump? The prole whites didn’t connect with Mitt Romney’s demeanor, but they seem to like Trump a lot.

If elected President, I am sure that Trump will continue to put his foot into his mouth, but the country will survive Trump’s gaffes a lot better than it will survive amnesty for 11 million+ illegal aliens plus a liberal Supreme Court. President Hillary likely means the end of the United States as we know it.

  1. “If elected President, I am sure that Trump will continue to put his foot into his mouth, . . .” Which will be a never-ending source of news and entertainment: a feature not a bug and one more reason to vote for Trump.

    • You would never say that about some black loud mouth. And the fact is that there is a real potential to do serious harm by running his mouth at the wrong time.

      • The real danger to the country is the traitorous, lying media.

      • Our culture is extremely vulgar. What people watch on TV, what they overhear at work, what they see on the Internet… it’s getting worse and worse all the time. We live in a cesspool.

In this environment, “gaffes” don’t have the legs they used to have, even if CNN talks about nothing else. People pretend to be offended by stuff when they think it helps their own side. It’s kabuki theater.

Millions of people like Trump’s message and really, really don’t care how he delivers it.

        August 3, 2016 at 5:26 pm

      • @SQ

They do care how it’s delivered.

If a polite and reasonable Mitt Romney type was pitching the same realism & hard truth talk about immigration, trade and security as Trump has, he’d have been ignored.

The vulgar public demands trash-talking politicians in the mold of their reality tv and celebrity heroes.

Mitt couldn’t even take the heat after he said “self-deport.” In the end, his positions were as milquetoast as his personality. He softened in response to criticism rather than standing firm.

        Trump is better than that.

    • There are at least two HILBOTS on this blog – Lion of the Turambar and mikeca.

Their agenda is this – don’t praise Hillary, but diminish Trump.

This is a right of center blog so don’t bash Trump as racist, sexist, xenophobic, islamophobic.

Instead, bash Trump as either a self serving con artist, a fraud etc. similar to what Mr Republican Romney said about him.

Or claim Trump is unstable, unfit, mentally deranged. In a sense what was said about Goldwater in 1964.

The Hilary team tried the Trump = Hitler agenda and the results weren’t good enough.

So the Trump as con artist or Trump as mentally unstable and unfit are the two chosen angles of attack.

Look for that in their posts. Clear sign of a HILBOT.

      • If you can stop groveling in front your cheeto Jesus long enough to use google it easy enough to see that I have been commenting on this blog and the HS one for years. Because HS has insights on the news that others (excepting Sailer) dont have. He occasionally goes off the rails like with the Pailn conspiracies and obsessing on game theory but if you can over look those things in generally sound.

And Trump is a stupid con artist. In the end the all end up conning themselves, and that is what Trumo has done. He has no ability to run a winning race.

  2. The elections are in November, so I guess what you’re really trying to say here is “Please try to spread the word that he’s not doomed so his campaign doesn’t fall apart”.

Somebody needs to make a series of prepared speeches for Trump that he can focus on for the next two months. He thrived during the primaries and (to a lesser extent) the leadup to the RNC because he had a hectic schedule of challenges to defeat and constructive things to say. It’s during these downtimes that he seems to lose focus, becomes reactive rather than proactive, and becomes a victim of the media. (A hectic schedule also forces the media to move on rather than keep issues alive for days on end)

In short, Miller and Manafort, get writing!

    August 3, 2016 at 9:20 am

    • I like Miller’s speeches a lot but he’s stilted and awkward when delivering prepared remarks and I don’t think any of his speeches have actually helped him in the polls at all.

      August 3, 2016 at 9:43 am

      • It’s not about “helping”, but about “stop harming”. Trump’s principles are solid. I say give the man ideological and intellectual ammunition and start firing. Keep the media busy chewing on that so they don’t have time to obsess about KFC and crying babies. Maybe then, in conjunction with terrorist/BLM attacks, Wikileaks and the debates, you’ll see him start rising in the polls again.

        August 3, 2016 at 9:58 am

      • I mean Trump is stilted and awkward delivering Miller’s words. Miller is awkward too in his own way when speaking but he’s not as imporant

        August 3, 2016 at 10:16 am

      • I disagree. I think Trump has benefited from those periods in which he delivered a few prepared speeches instead of shooting from the hip. The problem with Trump and Hillary is that they are both extremely unpopular with high negative ratings, so they both do well when they keep their yaps shut. Hillary knows this, which is why she does maybe two press conferences a year, while Trump will do two a day. I really think Trump can win this election IF he stops attacking other Republicans, his campaign confiscates his twitter account, keeps him on a steady diet of prepared speeches, and Muslims continue to be Muslim.

However I despair that he can actually do that. He feels compelled to respond to every ridiculous thing the Clinton campaign throws at him, which is why he’s knee deep in Khan this week. And for no reason. If Trump loses, it’s because of Trump.

      • It’s very clear that you people have learned nothing about human psychology or game from your years in the alt-right if you think anything trump has done so far is a mistake. He is basically using the media as his whipping boy and he has to fight the media tooth and nail and be rude because they are doing the same. The media tries to pull passive aggressive bullshit on him and he calls them out. That’s why your cuck heroes John McCain and Mitt Romney and the last 100 boobs the GOP has put forth have all failed. You need to be a shitlord to fight the entrenched powers that be. These people are blood thirsty killers, but they hide behind the thinly veiled veneer of civilized society. Tim Wise let it slip once what the left’s ultimate plan is and believe me it ain’t pretty.

But keep on living in your cuck delusions you worthless band of goody two shoes. Spineless losers who should have stayed in the lockers you were shoved into in high school.

For the record Turambar is a long time poster. He’s just unfortunately a cuck/conservadad. He’s been around since Sheila Tone/David Alexander/Firepower/Roissy etc. All quality posters. I’m saddened that our brothers on the alt-right quibble among themselves while our last chance for peaceful reclamation of the Magna Carta is literally hanging on by a thread.

Don’t you fools understand? There is no 2020 election and there certainly isn’t a 2024. If Hillary assumes the role of commander in chief it’s OVER. Amnesty here (kiss a republican victory ever again goodbye) kiss your guns goodbye, free shit army will grow another 10%, making wealth redistribution/Marxism an institutional majority, and probably hate speech laws.

Oh and thats before we get to Supreme Court with 6 justices worse than or equal to Darth Bader Ginsburg.

Have you no decency? Your children deserve some semblance of a future, not to perish in the smoldering ashes of an appocalypse brought on because cankles and traitor to Germany Angela Merkel felt offended by Putin’s manliness and perceived some condescending remark.

Think it can’t happen? We are provoking Russia into literal hot war and things will only get worse. The elites know the only way to cover for their mismanagement of the economy is to ignite WW3. They literally believe in their own Keynsian bilge. Think about how hard you’d fight if it was life or death. They won’t go quietly into the night. They will fight like cornered dogs and destroy us all in the process.

        August 4, 2016 at 8:34 pm

    • Trump is doomed since there is no map for him that doesnt include Utah, which has voted for the R for 50 years but now has Clinton ahead.

Trump is doomed since its a coin flip if he loses more votes than he gains every time he opens his mouth, and no one can convince him to shut up for a minute. The Kahns are an obvious trap and yet he walks into it! And keeps it going for 4 days. How many more of these is he going to fall for?

Trump is doomed since he doesnt even realize that the election is about GOTV and turnout and there needs to be investment and time around those two things. He has 2000 people at a rally and he thinks he is #WINNING.

The HBD fringe is doomed since the SS Trump is going to sink a whole lot of races down ticket. Nominee Kasich or Rubio would not have cost the Republicans control Congress but Trump might well. Then when HRC has control of legislation she can quickly pass the Dream Act and you guys can blubber about how Trump was the best candidate.

Since I am an optimist the best case scenario is that Trump drops out in mid-September lets Pence take the top of the ticket.

In 2012 Romney finished at 35% in stupid NY. Trump is currently at 35% in NY. There is no reason for his candidacy.

        August 3, 2016 at 9:09 pm

    • They need to focus on the small handful of reasons that anyone would vote for Trump:
      – he annoys the sort of people the public enjoys seeing annoyed
      – somewhat less corrupt than Hillary
      – wouldnt (possibly) appoint Obamacrats

There are three reasons to vote for him and about 80 to vote against so they really need to disappear Trump until November. Make a Potemkin village of audiences that he can speak to so he thinks he is doing something for the next three months and then stick him back in a flight simulator and tell him he is criss crossing the country.

      Lion of the Turambar

      August 3, 2016 at 10:49 am

      • Trump is only less corrupt because he hasn’t been in public service and is held to a different standard. I think he would probably be more corrupt in office than Hillary. There’s a good chance he’ll just be completely shameless advancing his personal financial interests.

        August 3, 2016 at 1:47 pm

      • There are three reasons to vote for him and about 80 to vote against

Iran has $400 million Swiss francs worth of reasons not to vote for her, and Julian Assange has 33,000.

    August 3, 2016 at 9:25 am

    • The modus operandi for many Americans was this: If Trump wins, they will try to leave for Canada. It will be the other way around, when Clinton wins.

      August 3, 2016 at 9:58 am

    • I found that surprising. I agreed with Lion’s argument that nothing HRC said was going to connect with anybody who didn’t already like her, and thus there wouldn’t be much of a bounce. Instead, the last few days have been good for Hillary and brutal for Trump.

I wonder if all of the polling woes are more of a “Khizr Khan debacle” bounce than a DNC bounce? That’s just ad hoc speculation about why things turned out other than expected.

      Greg Pandatshang

      August 3, 2016 at 10:02 am

    • After Trump took a lead in RCP’s polling average and 538 it seems like the media panicked, and there’s been a fullscale press onslaught against Trump ever since. Every major newspaper and website has been running several anti-Trump articles all at once, and they’re very manipulatively structured and composed with lots of scare language. It’s a kitchen sink moment; they’re even trying to make hay about a funny quip Trump said about a baby, which is being reported with grim seriousness. IMO it’s more that than the convention itself that has shaken the polls loose, although Trump has aided his enemies by taking the bait on obvious tar babies like Khan.

      August 3, 2016 at 10:16 am

      • Yup. Netanyahu got this treatment from the Israeli media in the 1990s, which is why he does what he does today.

Hillary’s convention bounce was a normal one.

Her current lead is soft and it will dissipate one Trump starts hitting her with attack ads.

        The Undiscovered Jew

        August 3, 2016 at 6:33 pm

      • Turambar, you’re the most dishonest regular at LOTB.

I just pulled up CNN’s front page and counted all the anti-Trump articles.

        “Pence’s role: Trump’s apologist”
“For 11 minutes, Trump kept it together”
“Trump: We’ve never been this united”
“Poll: Clinton opens up 10-point lead”
        “Libertarian: Trump has ‘screw loose'”
“Trump eats KFC with a fork”
“Well, this is odd: Trump’s Facebook page”
“Opinion: Trump mocks a mother? Big mistake”
“More than a few things Trump has totally changed his mind about”
“Sources: Trump-world frustrated by their candidate”
“Howard Stern gave us Donald Trump”
“How Trump plays into ISIS’s hands”
“Buffett erases Trump’s excuses on taxes”

It ranges from ISIS to a bucket of fried chicken, and note that Khan’s just one among many; what’s more, it’s a measure of the media’s bias that CNN is still milking Khan, while the more important and fresh story about the $400 million bribe Obama paid to Iran for hostages is downgraded below five different Trump hitpieces and will probably disappear entirely within a day or two.

        August 3, 2016 at 11:40 pm

      • Richard- if you were honest you’d see that almost all of those stories are of Trump’s making (I’ll give him a pass on Stern).

If he completely ignores Khan then there is NO story, Just another speaker among dozens at the DNC who is now off stage and forgotten. Nothing for Pence to try to explain. No 10 point Hillary bounce.

        Lion of the Turambar

        August 4, 2016 at 9:35 am

      • Bullshit, Turambar. It’s the media’s decision to render “newsworthy” this stuff, no matter how absurd (KFC) or of irrelevant timing (like things Trump has changed his mind about, Clinton has too but CNN isn’t pimping an article about it), as well as to promote attacks from Clinton surrogates while giving no play to attacks on Clinton. They’re partisans and want Trump to lose, and they’re doing all they can to ensure that happens. If he’d not said anything about Khan then the media would have run something else, because the cause of the press barrage is their fear that Trump will win, not anything he said in particular.

        August 4, 2016 at 10:07 am

      • Trump’s campaign approved the KFC pictures so this is a self inflicted wound that no one through this through.

59% of people strongly disapprove of Trump’s statements on the Khan family. 59%! thats a lot of Republicans and this is the fight Trump decided to pick. And, surprise, he loses big.

Yeah the media is against Trump but they were against Bush too and he won more votes in 2004 than any previous candidate. Trump feeds the media machine stories that he loses on.

Why is Trump not endorsing Paul Ryan a story? Because Trump made it one with his free form musing. These are all self inflicted errors.

        Lion of the Turambar

        August 4, 2016 at 12:27 pm

      • The KFC thing doesn’t wound Trump at all. God, you’re a dolt. But the MSM is running articles on it (and everything else they can think of) because they’re in kitchen sink mode, sampling anything and everything and throwing it all against the wall to see what sticks. Some of it does, but some would stick against Clinton if she were facing the same one-sided indiscriminate barrage. It’s part of the landscape that Trump has got to adapt to because he doesn’t have the power to fix it, but it’s bald-faced lying to pretend that Trump made CNN and the rest run this stuff because they’re all so fucking newsworthy. But thanks for the laugh of seeing you defend the journalistic value of a press report on Trump eating fried chicken with a fork.

        August 4, 2016 at 1:37 pm

      • KFC is a negative to the pumpkin prince because
        a. it makes him look like an out of touch billionaire faking populism
        b. it gives people another opportunity to laugh at Trump

HRC isnt going to get very many people to vote for her (despite her breaking all these glass ceilings 3 decades after Thatcher) so she needs people to want to vote *against* her opponent. Trump making him self look like a dolt helps that effort.

        Got it now?

If I were Trump I’d be out doing some hot laps at a NASCAR track. It hits a good demo, makes you look strong and makes Hillary look out of touch because it emphasis that she doesnt have a driving license.

The media can only use two game principles to augment their own value and out amog trump (agree and amplify – not an option, ignore and continue talking to the girl/electorate, or outwardly distort the truth (he has herpes) to demoralize his support base).

      August 3, 2016 at 10:19 am

  6. Clinton is rising in the polls but it is a result of Obama’s swelling approval rating. Gallup currently has Obama at 54. When Trump was leading, Obama’s approval was as low as 48.

For Trump to win, Obama’s approval has to be in the 47-49 range. When and if Obama’s approval numbers go back down, Trump’s numbers will go back up.

    Greasy William

    August 3, 2016 at 10:25 am

  7. Your point is well taken. Trump is a tarnished candidate who makes Nixon look magnificent. However, we live in a time of chaos and potential race wars as BLM quite literally caters to the gullibility and ignorance of blacks to foment real anarchy while emasculating the police. The amount of corruption perpetrated by Obama’s fierce drive to turn silk purses into sows’ ears has the quality of our meritocracy close to the level of Haiti or Puerto-Rico. Trump alone can at least keep the ship from sinking.

In a society of greater virtue Hillary would be a certain loser but our culture has been debauched by the Left to the point that she still might win and the very imperfect Trump has an uphill battle. Trump essentially crept in because he alone captured the hearts of downtrodden Americans with white skin and sadly demoralized souls. These are still the majority population in this besieged land of prior greatness. They must forgive his petulance and vote him in as a kind of savior-of-the-gap so to speak. The Right needs a man of Nixon’s intellect and Kissenger’s statesmanship.but perhaps after four years of Trump they will find such an eminent leader. For now Trump trumps all.

    August 3, 2016 at 10:49 am

    • In a society of greater virtue, Hillary would have been indicted. Also, in such a society, Obama would defend the minimum of dignity still accruing to his office and not try to hustle the election, and Ruth Bader Ginsburg would have retired rather than embarrass the Supreme Court and with it the entire judicial system with her hateful senile antics. But here, hey who cares right? Is Game of Thrones on, wow look at the tits on that one!

However the election goes, it will have been instructive. The meaningless farce of opposing political parties and investigative media and so on — all of that has been quite thoroughly exposed, whether Trump wins or loses. Clinton winning will mean the country slides further into the abyss, while Trump winning means he at least has a shot at halting the decline, and just maybe could reverse it, against the massed will of the entrenched Cathedral of course.

We shall see. If Trump loses, I will at least have been proud to have been on his side. But I think he’ll win.

The media is in all out attack mode because they know Hillary can’t beat Trump one on one. But I think it’s too late for the mainstream media. We have the alternative media now so it won’t work like in the past.

    • That’s what people on the right were saying right up until Nate Silver correctly predicted all 50 states in 2012

Silver doesn’t know anything which can’t be derived from the RCP average, which got 49 out of 50 states correct in 2012.

He was also wrong repeatedly throughout the Republican nomination fight.

IMHO That Khan thing was so made-up. He says he want’s to hear the wife’s views and that’s somehow an attack on veterans? I’m not a Trump supporter but it gives me a pain.

I’m resigned to Tramp saying ‘good morning’ and the media going wild that he offended somebody and is therefore unfit to be President.

    August 3, 2016 at 11:41 am

  16. According to Hillary, I’m supposed to fight off the scythe-wielding muslims without a gun, because “that’s not who we are.” Trump should put out a series of videos along the theme of “Are you Bruce Lee? No? Then what the Hell Are You Gonna Do?”

  17. If we didn’t have the promise of the Russians leaking 30 years worth of Crooked Hillary intel, and the promises from Assange of more damning material, I’d be worried. Trump is his own worst enemy. He needs to refuse to talk about anything but the economy, trade, immigration and the supreme court.

  18. It’s ironic that Lion’s main peeve with establishment R’s, i.e abortion, is also probably the main reason why so many white women can’t bring themselves to vote for Trump. The current situation is that millions of white boomer and gen-X women are having their financial lives ruined by runaway immigration, but they can’t change their political spots because they’re hung up on abortion and figure any white male must therefore be the enemy. My sister is a case in point. Had to buy a house she couldn’t afford because Mexicans ruined the neighborhood in which she had her first, affordable, house. But her ’80’s-90’s hate for R’s over abortion is so great that she can’t vote her own interests.

    August 3, 2016 at 12:42 pm

  21. You do realize Trump is just the same con job Republicans have been using for almost 50 years. Use cultural and racial resentment to get working class people to vote against their own economic interests.

Mitt Romney did the standard “nudge nudge, wink wink, say no more” routine to show his resentment of minorities. Trump just comes and says it in plain English.

Oh yeah, Trump says he supports Social Security and Medicare, but Trump proposes huge tax cuts that will require equally huge cuts in government spending. Trump advocates increased defense and national security spending. That means massive cuts to Medicaid, food stamps, unemployment insurance, and gradual cuts to Medicare and Social Security.

Trump shows so little interest in policy that you have no idea what he will actually do in office.

    August 3, 2016 at 12:46 pm

    • “Use cultural and racial resentment to get working class people to vote against their own economic interests.”

My God, you can’t actually believe leftist policies are in the economic best interest of working people, can you? The ones creating the policies don’t even really believe that.

      Two in the Bush

      August 3, 2016 at 1:52 pm

      • Wake up in smell the roses.

Do you think tax cuts skewed to the wealthy help the working class?

Do you think making cuts in food stamps and Medicaid to pay for those tax cuts helps the working class?

Do you think cuts in Social Security and Medicare will help the working class?

Maybe you think eliminating inheritance taxes helps the working class?

Maybe you think completely eliminating all taxes on capital gains will help the working class?

Maybe you think that completely eliminating the income tax and replacing it with a flat tax or a sales tax will help the working class?

Maybe you think eliminating the minimum wage will help the working class?

Basically all Republican economic proposals consist of shifting the tax burden from the wealthy on to the middle and working classes and cutting back on the safety net programs the benefit the middle and working classes.

My god you cannot actually believe that those policies help working people, can you?

We all saw the economic miracle (NOT) that these policies created during the Bush presidency.

        August 3, 2016 at 3:50 pm

      • And the democrats are now trying to replace all of those working and middle class Americans with illegals and foreigners.

How does that help the working and middle classes?

        August 3, 2016 at 10:48 pm

      • So immigration (which is only partly economic) is an issue where a minority of republicans are better than almost all democrats for working people. That doesn’t change the fact that on almost any issue that is primarily economic democrats are better for working people.

        August 4, 2016 at 9:21 am

        Lion of the Blogosphere

        August 4, 2016 at 4:43 pm

      • Real work leading to tangible value creation is very self actualizing, and America has almost none of it.

Because Americans live by status signaling, and high status comes mostly from value transference-parasitic work, our nation is essentially a lost cause when it comes to high civilization and productivity. I might sound like I’m agreeing with Yakov, but I’m not. Yakov thinks like a prole – “I make stuff, because it provides me with a living”.

        August 4, 2016 at 9:57 pm

    • Hillary plainly hates white people and in particular cops, to the point where she will excuse their murderers. That was a great day for America, wasn’t it? Even the Bernie bros figured it out after a while. Sweet sweet booing at her coronation. (It must have felt so great when Bernie donated his remaining campaign funds, laboriously collected from broke leftist grassroots, to the Clinton corruption machine in the end. Hillary needs a new pair of shoes.)

Nothing wrong with Trump plainly saying he will enforce the laws to help Americans and deport illegals and murderous troublemakers. In fact, that’s what’s so great about him. If you hate yourself so badly, I suggest you take a muy long Mexican vacation.

      August 3, 2016 at 4:52 pm

    • The thing about Trump is he spins this on its head — Republicans used to pander to whites about culture issues they didn’t really care about in order to implement their radical pro-rich economic policies. Trump pretends to care about conservative economic positions to get the Republicans to let him be the nominee, so he can cut immigration and get to work on cultural issues (hypothetically — the other possibility is he really doesn’t care and just wants to be President, and saw this line of campaigning as his best shot).

Trump NEVER talks about cutting programs. Trump obviously cares about working people and has some humanity. He’s probably not too competent and informed on economic issues but his instincts aren’t too bad.

      August 4, 2016 at 5:41 pm

    • mikeca — I doubt taxes will change much one way or the other regardless of who wins. What will change, however, is immigration and entitlements. The Clinton/Gingrich welfare reform reduced welfare rolls by almost 50%. People who had been chilling on welfare got jobs and went back to work. That’s huge. Fixing immigration would be even bigger since MOST immigrants receive more in entitlements than they pay in. Plus, they drive down wages. So fixing welfare and cracking down on immigration will do more for the working class than all that other stuff you mentioned combined.

By the way, Trump has never said he’d do most of the things you claimed. In fact, he’s said he’d do the opposite on some of them. He’s specifically said he intends to save social security and medicare.

  23. Trump should have attacked HILLARY for politicizing the death of soldiers and then proclaim he loves the Khan family for their sacrifice. These sort of weird attacks on the Khans are causing the drop in poll numbers. True the Khans are political and have a few skeletons in their closet and that they started it. But most Americans don’t know the back story. All they see is a powerful man picking on some little people.

A lot of people find these sort controversies exhausting. And they stop supporting Trump simply because they don’t want to hear about another outrageous remark.

Yes the media is biased (NYTimes has been running the Khan story on its front page for 4 days now). Yes Trumps remarks are taken out of context. But a good campaign needs to know the terrain and deal with it. not complain about it.

The New York Times published a roughly three-minute video on Wednesday showcasing some of the obscenities hurled in the massive crowds in and around Donald Trump’s rallies.

Titled “Unfiltered: Voices from Trump’s Crowds,” the video showcased people disparaging Muslims, immigrants, President Barack Obama, and Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton with extremely vulgar language.

  34. Trump needs to attack Hillary, not peripheral characters like the Khans. If they need to be attacked, let minions who aren’t connected with the campaign do that.

Trump should probably hold some rallies where people will try to block the roads. The left does not look good when they block the roads. Do a rally in blue city in a red state, or a blue city in a purple state. There’ll be lots of opposition, and lots of coverage. Trump should try to stay above it, and let the police / secret service hash it out with the protesters.

However, Trump has purchased almost no advertising, and he has basically zero get-out-the-vote plans. So I don’t see this ending well at all.

      August 3, 2016 at 9:45 pm

    • when is he going to do that????? how much does he want to win if hes delaying that this long???

I don’t know when, they may have been waiting for early September. But he should move the ad war to now in August.

With a fundraising haul of $80 million last month he is well on track to raising the $400 million which, in my judgement, is sufficient for the general election. With those resources there’s no reason for him not to go ahead.

While he has been eschewing traditional campaign tactics, and as ridiculous as campaign ads are, ads do work for Republicans because the only way to get an unfiltered message through to the electorate is attack ads. In that 30 to 60 second spot they can present the case against the Democrat without any media protection or talking points. And Hillary is giving him many, many, scandals to hit her over the head with.

If you follow competitive state or national races over the years where the Republican won you will have noticed the Republican candidate is usually behind the Democrat over summer but then closes the gap in Fall. The reason the gap closes is because the media never reports anything bad about the Democrat during the summer, it’s only the Fall ad wars that let the Republican to get shots in which the Democrat has to defend against.

If Trump wants to regain the lead he needs to put the parents of the Benghazi victims (and Epstein, the Iran bribe, her emails, and everything else) in real TV ads, and stop preaching to the choir on conservative media.

The polls are swinging back and forth because both Hillary and Trump, when they’ve had the lead, those leads proved soft because some of their support comes from voters who have high negative opinions of both candidates.

Trump is absolutely the right kind of narcissist – the one who doesn’t mind risking 60% of the nation hating him if he can leave a better nation to his children+grandchildren. Trump is one of the genuinely least racist people who have run in recent memory. But ‘racism’ is not about racism. His run is the purest altruism we’ve seen since Perot (who was *also* savaged by the press, but didn’t hold it together under pressure like Trump is).

when “racist” is used by whites, it’s meaning is for the most part “white trash”.

the same is true of the euphemism “working class whites” which has been used ad nauseam by the elite media to describe trump’s supporters, even though the evidence is his supporters are not especially “down market” as a group. in fact, according to mark shields the median household income among trump’s supporters is significantly greater than that of the country as a whole.

Of course thats because Donald was also directly responsible for the death of the Khan son…oh, wait….he was’nt….and in fact, had Donald been POTUS the Khans son would still be alive.
Think about that when CNN, the MSM and the Dems are pouring crap in your ear 24/7. Or the sycophants of the Outer Party are tsk, tsking on Fox.

So what right does a money-grubbing Muslim have to lie about our next President. Should his Gold Star status protect him from legitimate criticism? Is it OK for him to exploit his (supposed) grief as a weapon in exchange for money and position. There’s a word for that, isn’t there?

For all we know he may have vehemently opposed his son even going to Iraq.

Never back down, never surrender – that’s Trump, like him or not. And inevitably, things come around in his favour. Reject the false Khan narrative, oh ye sheeple. You’ve been conned (again).

And grow a pair, will ya.

Oh dear. Goodbye Mr. Khan. Credibility – shot. Integrity – nil.

  46. It will take a miracle for Trump to win in the demographics and IQ of this America.

Blacks, hispanics, asians, white women: strong majority democrats before anything is said or done.

The Left 100% controls the media and most Americans are easily influenced idiots.

I pray Trump will win, but I’m afraid it’s all too little too late.
