George Soros hack

So is there anything juicy in here?

* * *

The only thing I see is that a massive amount of work went into creating all of those long documents in there. That’s what the modern economy is about, people doing make-work that doesn’t create any real value.

    • The above link quotes Borjas:

“[Even though immigration screws the workers who compete against immigrants and fattens the profits of already well-off capitalists], I still feel that it is a good thing to give some of the poor and huddled masses, people who face so many hardships, a chance to experience the incredible opportunities that our exceptional country has to offer.”

      • Borjas sounds like another idiot really.

The reviewer says immigration hasn’t affected the average American that much. If you call completely changing the demographics of the country and making it much more crowded not affecting Americans, then I guess it hasn’t.

This country has been completely ruined by immigration.

  5. Its kind of amusing that according to the proposed budget that they are funded at the rate of $150M a year but had a small percentage in Poverty Alleviation and then Soros decided to end even that and give the remaining money to Planned Parenthood and a Bloomberg program. The actual poverty program has been zeroed out.

I guess if you actually poor and hungry Soros doesnt care to help you.

Also amusing is that the budget allocates nearly a million a year to overturning Citizens United.

  6. Soros is an evil man as are all the other billionaires who own the politicians.

My dream would be a President Trump (or some hero) to direct the marines to storm these billionaires walled-off and heavily-guarded compounds and drag them out kicking and screaming so the people can see and judge these men who presume to dictate the world into 3rd world globalism, racial degeneration, and serfdom.

Too bad happy endings are only for hollywood movies.

  7. These latest Guciffer hacks will keep the Democrats off balance, wondering what else will be released and sweating that he/she/it/they almost certainly has Hillary’s missing 30,000 emails.

  8. If the Guccifer 2.0 hacks are really being done by Russia, then perhaps the Russian government should just post all 30,000 emails on a Russian government website instead of giving them to Julian Assange’s Wikileaks? Assange is already in enough trouble as it stands.

    • The rumour is it’s insiders at the NSA, not Russia. Elements of the security apparatus don’t want Hillary.

      August 15, 2016 at 9:20 am

      • The NSA might also be hoping for better relations with Russia to finally get their hands on Edward Snowden.

        August 15, 2016 at 1:14 pm

      • Nothing would surprise me at this point. But with so many agencies capable of hacking, and who have motive to hack Hillary and her allies in particular, it’s hard to know for sure if it’s Russia, the NSA, or a rogue acting on his own.

  9. I’ve listened to Soros a lot and have a lot of respect for him. He is very gifted intellectually. He has shaped my philosophy. Soros isn’t the Emperor or Puppet Master or other such thing – Its ridiculous.

What explains Soros is he’s extremely influenced by his experiences living under the Nazis. Compared to Warren Buffet, he’s been far more philanthropic over the years, I think since the late 80s at least. Soros could easily of compounded his gains to be at Buffet’s level of wealth for instance.

The recent revelations reveal a man concerned with democracy in Eastern Europe. If you could make Hildabeest do anything you wanted, it probably wouldn’t be protecting demonstrators protesting rigged elections in Albania or worrying about Eastern Europe. If Soros had the power attributed to him, the CIA would have suicided Viktor Orban years ago.

Having read some of the “make work” of the Soros foundation, and compared it to Heritage or Cato, there’s no comparison in the intellectual heft. Many of the papers argue against open capital accounts for instance which is obviously against Soros personal interest.

While Soros and Koch both want open borders, Soros wants them for huminatarian reasons, Koch for cheap labour. Soros’ mistake is, for obvious reasons, to reject HBD and differentiating humans to the point of putting Western people in danger…Koch’s intellectual mistake is of unmitigated avarice and is much more reprehensible in my view.

I’ve come to realise Soros psychology explains some but not all of the MSM’s stance on HBD/open borders.

I am open to the idea however that Soros is so cunningly intelligent that he has feigned his back story in an elaborate maneouvre to overthrow Western Civilisation by contributing billions over the years to social programmes in backwater countries all over the world. And then again, its not likely.

We sometimes mistake people who disagree with us for being evil. Sometimes what they argue for would may well lead to evil. But its more complicated than that. Aside from the fact that there is no such thing as “evil”.

    • The last people I will take advice from about politics are holocaust survivors, apart from the fact that they are all mentally disturbed to some extent from the things they have witnessed, they also proved to be politically blind. The politically smart people identified the danger and left Europe before the war.

No wonder Soros gives so much money to anti Israeli Arab organisations, he comes from a family who couldn’t identify evil even when it was screaming his intention to a cheering crowds in Germany, exactly like the Muslims today.

    • We’ve seen Soros’ style democracy in action at Trump rallies in Chicago and San Jose. And we’ve seen his humanitarian endeavors in Ferguson, Baltimore and currently Milwaukee.

You should change your name from “The Philosopher” to “The Propagandist”.

      August 14, 2016 at 10:32 pm

      • I have the impression Philosopher’s alt-right; he’s being philosophical about an adversary, not propagandizing for him; this is his style (right, Philosopher?) — for example, he was expressing “empathy” for someone or other here a few columns back, and he seemed to be in earnest about it, although he annoyed me anyway.

        August 15, 2016 at 7:58 am

    • Soros collaborated with the Nazis to send Jews to the gas chambers. Good or evil? Who am I to judge?

  10. Their board report is pretty creepy. Plans to undermine the free speech by promoting an “alternative constitutional framework”.

But the best part is the people ostensibly trying to get money “out of politics”
    Adam Abrogi, Democracy Fund

    • Joe Goldman, Democracy Fund

    • Keesha Gaskins, Rockefeller Brothers Fund

    • Kyle Herrig, Wyss Foundation

    • David Simpson – Fund for the Republic

    • Marc Caplan – Proteus Fund

    • Elspeth Revere, MacArthur Foundation

    • Jay Beckner, MertzGilmore Foundation

    • Jonathan Soros

    • Jean Ross, Ford Found

Democracy fund is billionaire Pierre Omidyar.
Wyss Foundation is billionaire Hansjoerg Wyss
    Protus- a Soros front
MetzGilmore- a corruption of an art charity set up by the heir to Publisher’s Clearing House money

So basically its a bunch of billionaires trying to get other peoples’ money out of politics. So theirs is all that is left.

  11. Haha, I looked at a few Soros docs and thought the same thing.

Also, the 11 million figure is roughly correct. The 30 million figure comes from Coulter.

The predicate for her estimate was an older Bear Stearns (“Let’s go all in-on synthetic mortgage bonds in 2006!”) estimate of 21-25 million illegals. She then, based on nothing at all, decided to “update” the estimate up to 30 million.

The problem with this 21-25 million estimate estimate was made in the course of hyping the stock of a company that provided financial services to “unbanked” illegals. And the people who write research reports for investment banks, while usually very smart, are neither honest, nor are they demographers.

Another reason to doubt there are hordes of uncounted illegals is we don’t have records of hispanics giving birth in excess of what you’d expect from the standard Pew Hispanic 11 million figure.

If the 30 million figure were right, that would then mean (1) when they give birth no hospital is registering them, they don’t show up in schools, etc. In fact, we know illegals have a really big incentive to record their births: anchor baby citizenship for el nino, and lower chance of deportation for la madre or (2) these “missing” illegals just aren’t having babies, and hispanic fertility, especially of illegals, is actually far lower than current estimates, and far lower than non-hispanic whites. Obviously neither of these is the case.

With regard to Pew, they routinely report data that is unflattering to hispanics and unhelpful to La Agenda de la Raza, though they tend to put a positive spin on it.

I can tell you also, as a long-time California resident, that our population of illegal immigrants seems to have decreased in the past decade.

    • Lot, you mentioned on an earlier post your success on Predictit:

Any tips on making money on Predictit?

      August 14, 2016 at 3:19 pm

    • Over the past two decades we’ve seen schools going from being 80-90% white to 50% hispanic. And there are a lot of hispanic girls who drop out because they get pregnant. I would be surprised if the figure were less than 30 million, but then again the magic soil of America turns the spawn and grandspawn of these figures to Americans.

      Panther of the Blogocube

      August 14, 2016 at 3:32 pm

      • Sure, the Hispanic population is growing very fast. But the specific question of the current number of illegals, there is no good reason to think the number has increased a lot or is wildly undercounted, so we should be careful about throwing up made-up statistics like the left does.

We have the facts on our side, so we should stick to the facts. And there is no evidence there are anything close to 30 million illegal aliens in the USA.

The people at CIS and NumbersUSA put out accurate numbers and are against mass migration and amnesty.

        August 15, 2016 at 10:29 pm

    • Considering the scale of the crisis, the population of illegal aliens at any given moment is virtually meaningless at this point, because over the last 50 years illegal aliens have had (and continue to have) tens of millions of citizen children.

  13. No link, but the creators of the “Zipp” app, whatever the Hell that is, say that Trump is narrowly ahead of Crooked Hillary. They believe their app is picking up things that the polls are missing. I don’t buy it, I believe Hil would win if the election were held today, but it is an interesting data point.

I’m not into unskewing polls, but the polls for Trump-Hillary are all over the place in a way that I haven’t seen for any previous election. The polls that show Hillary up 10+ should automatically be dismissed, but what’s interesting is some polls showing Hillary up by around 8 while Rassmussen and the LA Times have Crooked Hillary up by 3 and 1, respectively. Rass has been a leading indicator this election so I pay a lot of attention to their trend lines.

I think Trump will be up in Rass by the first debate and probably one or two other polls as well. The other polls will follow and then get ready for some major league unskewing from the Left.

One thing that might make the polls a little less credible this year is that the media is openly campaigning against Trump. Maybe the pollsters are in on it to. The ones showing Trump down by 15 are obviously fraudulent but maybe the ones showing him 7 or 8 behind are as well.

    • If you want to be a shit investor and completely tank in life with predictions on any matter i would strongly advise you to check the price/score/rank every 20 seconds or every day.

When watching a game of soccer or basketball, would it be a good idea to check the score every minute to inform your prediction of just that one game? Is that interval representative? If we collected the variation in scores minute by minute of all such games, and back tested it, would it be informative? Maybe better. Bit nobody bothers with that effort on one parameter.

Perhaps a better way would be to look at the fundamentals of both teams – quantified by player salaries, transfer market values etc. Another way would be to look at their winning track records and so on.

It might shock you that most people cannot think probabilistically – least of all journaliers who are paid to be shrieking harpies. Collect their predicitions over the years and you would see that maybe 20% of the time they were correct – 10% due to skill and the other to sheer luck. Nobody predicted trump winning the nominee. Brexit was a ‘shock’.

Trumps long term slope is mildly positive and he has fought back from an even steeper drop in april. In fact, the probability of swan events favour trump moving forward.

But even these past 5 months are not a great sample to make predictions. A regressive approach on fundamentals like demographics and eco variables i would imagine works best.

People should be forced to go to gulags and learn statistics. And shot if they dont pass. Otherwise the citizenry will always be bamboozled by gamma gamma.

      • “In fact, the probability of swan events favour trump moving forward.”

What does that even mean? Out of all the unanticipated events, you anticipate that the majority of them favor Trump?

Lets suppose that its true that there are numerically more events. That doesnt mean that they have an equal probability of happening. Or even that they effect is meaningful. If Trumps swan comes in and he finishes down 6 points in the GE instead of 10 does that really make thing better?

Trump is drawing for an inside straight and thats just dumb odds. He needs to fold.

        He’s got at least 4 outs… twice !!

        August 15, 2016 at 2:16 pm

      • Well statistically a terrorist attack, race riot, refugee crisis, data hack or economic shock is more likely than swan events that favour hilary like a trump supporter exercising the 2nd amendment on her (although im sure the establishment could try to sirhan sirhan it like they did with that english mp before brexit) or a freak mutation in minority genetics making them high altruism hippies.

The fundamentals favour trump as well – racial antagonism, crime skyrocketing, economic decline, mass refugee migrations, real unemployment at 25% plus, the 80% plus decline in mainstream media newspaper circulation and news watching…and ironically enough the crap nature of american education which means people dont even have the 8th grade reading level to be susceptible to the manipulation function (haha).

The cuckolds have destroyed the american dream in a mere generation. People are noticing something is terribly wrong! The so called richest country in the world supposedly cant even afford to provide pensions to its elderly anymore!!

My main point was to stop being bouyed by the manipulation function, something that soros correctly identifies as killing ones cognitive function. If newspaper articles simply printed statistical tables on the topic without any “interpretation”, the vast majority of people would be better informed. The long run trend is still very good for trump. Stick to the fundamentals kid.

Even if trump is assasinated the fundamentals will mean something else will happen. The deformed cuckolds will keep pillaging and touching pubescent children at their sex parties and pushing and pushing ordinary people into extreme situations causing extreme blowback.

  14. The “Game Over” thread became very long. So I’ll post the link here. Larry Auster saw this in 2011:

He wasn’t quite ready in 2011 to say the words, but after Romney was defeated he said, memorably, “it’s their country now.”

  15. Lion,

Why are you ignoring Milwaukee? It’s worse than Ferguson. Look at the comments:

You mentioned an October surprise. The movie Birth of a Nation will be released in October. I never took seriously the idea that previous slave porn movies would set off riots, but I think this movie has the potential to set off a series of anti-white murders. It has everything. It’s total Hollywood liberal Jewish fantasy porn.

    August 15, 2016 at 10:23 am

    • The MSM is keeping the Milwaukee violence hush hush. Not even on the front page of the NY Times.

Black people don’t watch serious historical dramas. That movie will be watched by SWPLs and a few SWPL blacks like the Obamas and Malcolm Gladwell.
