Hillary’s incompetent IT staffer

This email revealed the phishing scam used to obtain John Podesta’s email login.

Any careful reading of the link would show that the domain is not google.com but rather com-securitysettingpage.tk.

That an IT guy who works for HRC didn’t catch that shows the kind of incompetent people she hires.

    • No.
Seriously- that had better be whats being done right now. Trump’s only chance is to have someone competent maximize this story. Like Alies.

This should take up all the news until the election if done properly.

      • Huma Abedin to me is Hillary’s Martin Bormann. Huma keeps the Hillary machine rolling like no one else. But her motivations, aside from amassing money and power while staying out of the spotlight, are mysterious to me. What are her ideological motivations, if she has any?

I watched the documentary about Weiner. He’s clearly a defective creature and it was apparent that it was Huma who was running his operation. After it turned out he had sent more pictures of his mushroom tip to women when he was running for mayor, Huma pulled the plug and his operation shut down.

I really must watch this documentary. From what I read, Huma is both delusional and hyper-calculating. Sound familiar? She was the one who came up with the idea Weiner should run for Mayor. I can tell you that even w/o the sexting, Weiner had no chance of being Mayor. So why run? 1. She’s delusional and thought he might win. 2. It’s a money-making scam.

She really does sound like HRC’s mini-me.

      • He’s clearly a defective creature…

He definitely has mental problems. And I’m not just talking about an inability to control his sexual impulses. There’s something else wrong with him. His physical appearance is odd, too. Every time I see him I think of Bill the Cat.

        October 30, 2016 at 11:14 am

      • destructure – Definitely. One of the big takeaways I got out of the documentary was that Weiner doesn’t even acknowledge he has a real problem. When he ran for mayor, he never explained how he had changed as a person. He was angry at people for judging him, without conceding that what he did was unseemly for a man in his office. He’s like a drug addict or a hoarder.

In contrast, I found Huma Abedin to be very mysterious, but she gave the impression of being very shrewd and competent. I would love to read an in-depth biography about her. I think her problem is that she’s an effective manager, but Hillary is a woman with terrible judgment, so Huma wound up finding herself carefully managing elaborate criminal enterprises. It’s her fault for doing so, of course.

    • And yet, on the other hand, HRC is close to Haim Saban, whose one issue is Israel. I think the Establishment found a way to get Saudi Arabia (KSA) and Israel to make nice, with the Establishment as the matchmaker. Of course, in reality, this won’t last. Once the current actors are no longer on the scene, the fake coalition between Israel and KSA will fall apart and all hell will break loose. But maybe Russia will be the peacemaker.

Saudi and Israel both view Iran as being their number one rival and threat in the region. Iran is going to be on the scene for a long time.

      • The Saudi-Israel alliance against Iran dates back to the Cold War when both of them were NATO proxies and Iran was a Soviet satellite state. It was further strengthened when America intervened in 1991 to prevent Saddam Hussein from marching into Saudi Arabia after he captured Kuwait.

The interests that created and sustain that alliance do not depend at all on the doomed marriage between Huma and her fool husband.

  8. That an IT guy who works for HRC didn’t catch that shows the kind of incompetent people she hires.

It’s a complete screwup for her. She had put the investigation aside only to have incompetence reopen it:

    https://pragmaticallydistributed.wordpress.com/2016/10/29/hillary-guccifer-rodham-why-is-comey-reopening-her-case/

The surprise announcement that the Clinton case is back on inevitably raised speculation over why Comey is reopening it.

    We see three possible explanations:

    Comey is helping Trump
Reopening the case somehow helps Hillary
The nature of the information downloaded from Weiner’s computers is so damaging that Comey felt he had no option but to open it again

If Comey were inclined to help Trump he would have sought an indictment sometime after Hillary was nominated and after state ballot deadlines had expired. Timing her indictment in such a way would have left Democrats in a very difficult legal position removing her name from 50 state ballots. Since Comey didn’t, we discard this explanation.

    Does his announcement help Hillary?

It is hard to see what benefit is in it for. Some have wondered if this is a strategy to neutralize any pending revelations from Wikileaks by moving them off the front pages ahead of time.

To us this maneuver seems like a double edged sword: It could just as easily amplify whatever ammunition Wikileaks has saved for the remainder of the campaign by reminding voters of her email scandals with the FBI just before Wikileaks releases their final surprises.

Bringing back the case also neutralizes her character attacks against Wikileaks for supposedly coordinating with Russia: If Clinton was so grossly incompetent at securing top secret information that even Anthony Weiner managed to download her missing 30,000 emails onto his iPhone then not only do the Russians have them but so do North Korea, ISIS, China, Guccifer, Al Qaeda, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Hezbollah, the Muslim Brotherhood, Yemen, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates.

If everyone, except until recently the Federal Bureau of Investigation, has her deleted emails then Wikileaks (if they also have them) could have potentially received them from anyone, not just Russia.

If the investigation helps Hillary we fail to see how it helps except as some sort of Hail Mary strategy that her political position wasn’t desperate enough to justify.

By process of elimination we lean towards the third explanation.

    • The only reason Comey would have reopened this case is if there is serious, and I mean serious evidence against her. I do not think he has the stomach for the kind of high stakes brinksmanship or scheming that you are suggesting. He is a good man. He realizes that he made a mistake in letting the witch off. He also knows that if he does not act now his reputation is ruined forever.

Are you foolish enough to think Hillary and her senior campaign strategists wanted Comey to reopen the investigation?

        The Undiscovered Jew

        October 30, 2016 at 1:44 pm

    • The only reason Comey would have reopened this case is if there is serious, and I mean serious evidence against her.

      That’s also my conclusion.

I’m skeptical of how good a man he is; anyone else without her political connections would have been nailed to the wall if they did 5% of what Hillary did with those emails.

For him to revive the case this close to the election means what has been found is egregious.

      The Undiscovered Jew

      October 29, 2016 at 9:34 pm

      • The reason why Comey didn’t recommend an indictment last summer was that he was wary of prosecuting someone running for office. The FBI does not want to be a tool for people in power to take revenge on their former or potential political rivals. They don’t want to interfere with the political process.

This isn’t to say that elected office means immunity, but it does mean that the FBI has much more discretion about prosecuting people in office than average Joes or even unelected officials.

In the end, Comey decided last summer that he would make it clear that Hillary had habitually lied to the American people, that she had violated protocol, and was for all intents and purposes guilty, but it was up to us, the voters, to punish her for it.

Now, in subsequent months, evidence has emerged that the FBI took an unnecessarily lax approach in investigating the case, granting immunity to Hillary’s cronies when it wasn’t needed, letting evidence be destroyed, and so forth. Terry McAuliffe gave a bunch of campaign money to an FBI agent’s wife during the investigation. Nasty stuff. When Comey let Hillary off the hook in the summer, I figured he was a profile in courage even if I disagreed with his call. After it turned out the FBI did a weak job in the investigation, I wasn’t so sure.

So I think that reopening the case is either that,

        A. Comey decided to investigate Hillary again and made the decision public in order to restore public confidence in the FBI.

        B. Comey found new evidence that was so damning that he decided he had no choice but to reevaluate his previous call. It’s not unlikely that Anthony Weiner is facing charges for violating a minor and is ratting on Hillary to get off the hook.

But in no way, no way at all whatsoever, is this move meant to help Hillary. It’s absolutely devastating for her campaign. A Wikileak that proved Hillary funded ISIS in 2012 wouldn’t be this bad.

A week ago, I put Trump’s chance of winning at 10%. After a great week of campaigning, I boosted it up to 20%. Now with the FBI reopening the case, Hillary is in free fall. We don’t know how bad this will be for her.

In fact, I was talking with someone who was going to Georgia to give an interview on behalf of the Clinton campaign. He told me he was exasperated about how he was supposed to answer the questions about the FBI. I recommended he say, “President Kaine would be better than Trump in any case, right?” He laughed.

      • @Sid –

I think it’s B. “Not unlikely”? Please, they are squeezing him hard now. Sex w/a minor is a crime, and a big no no. It’s the last taboo left. It’s his laptop. He showed them the emails voluntarily. They don’t yet have a warrant to read them. Lynch will obstruct, but he’s spilling the beans to make a deal.

        gothamette

        October 30, 2016 at 9:39 am

      • This isn’t to say that elected office means immunity, but it does mean that the FBI has much more discretion about prosecuting people in office than average Joes or even unelected officials.

I also go with “B” since no other explanation seems plausible.

But his initial decision went beyond mere prosecutorial discretion. Comey is smart and savvy enough to see she clearly violated multiple federal security statutes and had her political machine destroy evidence while lying to the FBI. But he still caved to political pressure.

For him to start up the investigation again after he backed off shows the new information is exceptional.

        The Undiscovered Jew

        October 30, 2016 at 1:53 pm

      • Ed Klein is arguing that James Comey gave in to internal pressure from the FBI:

Comey might also be acting out of a sense of guilt.
