650,000 emails on Weiner computer

Yes, 650,000 emails. Undoubtedly most of them relate to Weiner’s long career in politics, but there are also “thousands of emails sent to or from the private server that Mrs. Clinton used while she was secretary of state.”

The FBI has not actually read any of the emails (and they believe they need a warrant before they can start reading them), they just examined the “medadata.” In other words they just have a count of the number of emails that are sent from or to the clintonemail.com domain, but that’s all they know.

We know that 33,000 emails were deleted from the Clinton server. I think there’s a very good chance that some of the thousands of emails found on Weiner’s are the deleted ones. We will find out whether or not all of the emails deleted were truly personal as claimed by Clinton’s team.

* * *

There is a rumor floating out there that Weiner gave the FBI permission to read the emails.

* * *

UPDATE: The FBI has a warrant to investigate the emails.

  2. In France, no media explain the content of the “private email of HRC” , and people think it is a case of american crazyness or narrow-mindedness. So i tried today to explain it clearly to friends, liberals and conservative, and they really understood :

    1) In 2001, when Bill Clinton presidency ended, the couple was broke – in its own terms – and had more debt than positive assets.

    2) Since then, the couple had three activities
    – HRC was a NY senator from 2000 to 2009 and a secretary of state from 2009 to 2013
    – Bill and then Bill and Hilary earned 130 million dollars for international speeches
    – They developped the clinton foundation wich received and invested more that 1 billion dollar

So there is a lot of potential dangerous links among those activities. Imagine if you tell someone he’d be invited to a government meeting if he buys 1 M dollar speeches and give 10 M to the foundation. Or, worse, taking a position – against the intestest of the country – in an international matter, against those same payments.

There is a law that required people in government to give back – to archive – all their correspondance, wether by mail or email . Now it is the case that HRC set up a way to exchange all her email in a private servor.

—> All the people jump directily to the conclusion that she did so, because she didnt want to give the emails, and because she was leveraging her political duties against money. Even liberal, jump to this conclusion ! Then i only say, it’s probable, but very difficult to prove, when all the emails have disappeared. Except if they reappeared …. And perhaps it is false, and she did that only because she likes to have all of her matter in a blackberry and is technophone – like many old people – and didn’t mean no arm. It s a possibility too. But one is entitled to put a big question mark on this important matter.

In France, you have conservative media, but they dont take the time to understand or explain. It s not really difficult though ….

      • If you have an IQ in the double digits, then it’s difficult to understand what Hillary is being investigated for. If you have an IQ in the triple digits, then you might understand what Hillary did and why it was wrong, but it doesn’t get a visceral reaction out of you, the way that Trump’s “grab them by the pussy” comment does.

But everyone understands how bad it is when the FBI is investigating a presidential candidate. Everyone understands you don’t want law enforcement on you, and the FBI means it’s serious business. Furthermore, the case was opened again because of Anthony Weiner. That’s not just a sex scandal, it’s a perverted one. Trump and Bill Clinton are no paragons of sexual morality, but what they did was more along the lines of what socially-dominant alpha males do, whereas Weiner is a creepy, disgusting pervert.

      • “have you ever looked over the kids’ shoulders on the buses and trains for a moment? … it’s all homemade softporn zipping back and forth.”

Sure, but it’s one thing for teenagers and twenty-somethings to send pictures of their private parts to each other, and a whole other thing for an elected official to do so. We might wish the young would make wiser life choices, but we expect our elected officials to act with a measure of decorum.

Also, sending pictures of your genitals to a woman while your kid is sleeping next to you is twisted. Weiner is clearly a degenerate.

“Bill Clinton raped and assaulted women. Trump didn’t rape, assault or grope anyone.”

Clinton probably is a rapist, but in the public eye he isn’t. The charges sound like old, discredited hearsay. What’s in the public knowledge is that he’s a serial adulterer who has likely come on too hard with many women, and the same could be said for Trump.

Again, Bill Clinton and Trump have lived their lives as philanderers who have hurt a lot of people. That might not be kind of them, but it is very alpha, so they benefit in some sense from the charges. Weiner is just a sicko, so his association with Hillary’s emails makes the charges against her all the more damaging.

      • Sid – Trump has been a cad, Bill Clinton has been an occasional d-in-v rapist. Bill C worse.

      • Sid, proper conduct of elected officials would be a separate issue. I agree that taking a picture with his kid next to him was bad behavior, but it’s not “perversion” because he was just being negligent unless it was part of the thrill, which I doubt. I think you just want to justify saying “pervert” because you think it sounds good.

      • “Trump has been a cad, Bill Clinton has been an occasional d-in-v rapist. Bill C worse.”

I agree, but my point is that to the public at large, Bill and Trump have a similarly shady but alluring history. (The fact that Bill has been accused of rape but has never admitted to it or been convicted of it roughly puts him on par with Trump’s admission that a star can “grab ’em by the pussy.”) They’re both highly successful, famous men who have had numerous affairs. Think Don Draper with more fame but coarser manners.

“I think you just want to justify saying “pervert” because you think it sounds good.”

I’m sorry, but I don’t see how he isn’t one.

The difference between the sex charges Trump has faced and those Weiner has been facing for the last five years is that Trump comes across as a successful alpha male, whereas Weiner comes across as an icky loser.

If you were to give most men the kind of money and fame Trump has, they would have relations with numerous women. Most men can imagine themselves acting as Trump did were they in his position. In contrast, a Congressman sending pictures of his genitals is just weird. Why would you do that if you had that kind of fame and authority? Get a mistress.

“Remember that one time when Trump paraded Bill’s victims at the debate? Bill was sweating bullets.”

That’s why I think Bill probably is a rapist.

“I’m sure Bill’s accusers are full of shit too, but it’s nice to see Progressivism bite itself in the ass.”

One reason why I think Bill’s accusers are serious is that the feminist establishment isn’t supporting him. Feminists, never known for being principled or intellectually honest, readily ignore Bill’s accusers for partisan reasons. In contrast, feminists regard Trump as their enemy and are eager to “believe” any women who makes charges against him.

      • New York serves 2 purpose: A place for money and decent food. It’s not a place to make quality connections, unless you’re Jewish. TUJ was saying that NYC is becoming too expensive for Jews, because of failed liberal policies of immigration and welfare subisidies for NAMs. It’s not true. NYC has seen an increase of secular Jews, especially in Manhattan, many wealthy Jews are moving to Manhattan. Not that Manhattan doesn’t have many Jews already.

I forgot Barcelona, it’s better than Madrid.

But I’m surprised by your comments. Many Jews are not welcomed around the world. Furthermore, many Jews in America are doing great, in fact most. Lion’s prole Jews isn’t true in most cases. Most Jews don’t live among guido proles in parts of Brooklyn and Staten Island. Religious Jews are happier than secular prole Jews. But the happiest Jews are elite Jews who live in Manhattan and California, and they are too many of them in these places. They did a survey and it was found that Jews were significantly happier than their gentile counterparts in America. No one should be surprised!

That leaves him with the task of cobbling together a string of small to medium sets of electoral votes in the Upper Midwest (WI or MI) and the Southwest (NM, CO, NV) to put him over 270. 14. Here’s an interesting take which sounds like it comes from inside the FBI: http://www.judgenap.com/post/what-happened-to-the-fbi

A few determined agents were frustrated by Clinton’s professed lack of memory during her interview and her oblique reference to a recent head injury she had suffered as the probable cause of that. They sought to obtain her medical records to verify the gravity of her injury and to determine whether she had been truthful with them. They prepared the paperwork to obtain the records, only to have their request denied by Director Comey himself on July 4.

Then some agents did the unthinkable; they reached out to colleagues in the intelligence community and asked them to obtain Clinton’s medical records so they could show them to Comey. We know that the National Security Agency can access anything that is stored digitally, including medical records. These communications took place late on July 4.

When Comey learned of these efforts, he headed them off the next morning with his now infamous news conference, in which he announced that Clinton would not be indicted because the FBI had determined that her behavior, though extremely careless, was not reckless, which is the legal standard in espionage cases. He then proceeded to recount the evidence against her. He did this, no doubt, to head off the agents who had sought the Clinton medical records, whom he suspected would leak evidence against her.

I expect the medical records would have revealed that Hillary had had a stroke. It’s funny though that the ‘head injury’ then is used to not remember all sorts of important things. Still suitable for the presidency?

Three months later — and just weeks before Clinton will probably be elected president — we have learned that President Barack Obama regularly communicated with Clinton via her personal email servers about matters that the White House considered classified. That means that he lied when he told CBS News that he learned of the Clinton servers when the rest of us did.

Ruh-roh, that doesn’t look too good either.

  18. I can’t be bothered with the idiotic, subhuman TruCons right now. I’m only interested in the millenial liberal dbags at NeoGaf.

They are still confident of not just victory, but overwhelming total victory. However, they are clearly *less* confident. Reality will likely start to sink in later this week.

Frank Luntz and Rick Wilson say they have devastating oppo on Trump that will kill him but they are also notorious lying scumbags. We’ll find out by the end of the week. I’m positive they really have something but think it will probably be a nothingburger like the Wikileaks and Okeefe stuff was for Crooked Hillary.

    • Wikileaks and O’Keefe was, cumulatively, devastating for Hillary. That along with Obamacare and general tone and issues was leading to a big Trump win BEFORE the FBI bomb dropped on Friday.

    • What is NeoGaf?

  19. I want to give you an example of NeoGaf delusion. In response to the fact that R ballots are currently 9000 ahead of D ballots in early FL voting, one NeoGaf douche said the following:

“I believe GOP generally takes the early vote lead on Florida, but that margin is indicative of a Florida lost. Generally they are ahead by 30-40k at this point, not less than 10k”

The truth: in this time at 2012, D ballots led R ballots in early FL voting by 142,000. Obama ended up winning the state by 74,000. Basically the worst case scenario for Trump in FL is he wins by 2.5 points and yet the idiot liberals still think that they are not only going to win FL, but blow Trump out there. This is Hitler in his bunker stuff.

In that case you were right that Florida is a lock for Trump. Early voting from North Carolina looks promising. He’s now free to go on the attack for Pennsylvania (which doesn’t allow early voting except for some exceptions like overseas military personnel), Nevada, Colorado, Michigan, Virginia, Wisconsin, and New Mexico.

  20. Correction: Trump’s worst case is winning FL by 4.2%, which is the equivalent to a 1.2% national victory in the popular vote.

  21. OK, my last word. I’m overdosing on this stuff now, gotta pull back.

The FBI and Harry Reid and the heads of all these committees already know what’s on the Weinerputer.

All this “we don’t know what’s in those emails” is bullshit.

Weiner gave the FBI the computer as his one bargaining chip. They didn’t need a warrant, and he told them what to look for, and where. There is stuff on that computer that could literally cause the country to melt down.

What would that be? Rifleman, destructure…Lion, TuJ? Any idea? Obama stuff?

Harry Reid has written a letter to Comey claiming that “National Security officials” have told him that Trump is working with the Russian, and that Comey is sitting on this info. Reid is beyond contempt. If this is true, he should spill the beans himself, i.e., tell the names of the NatSec officials – oh wait, he gave one, Comey himself. Comey is being crushed between two millstones. He deserves it. He punted, and he’s paying for it now. I don’t care about him, but I do care about his charges against Trump. When this is all over, Trump should sue his ass.

Weiner is probably looking to cut a deal on his on upcoming charges. His political career is over, his marriage is over, and at this point, it’s unlikely he can be blackmailed unlike the usual person who has stuff on the Clintons. He can actually not worry about the consequences of squealing on the Clintons because it’s all over for him anyway.

He’s plea bargaining so it’s whatever he has. Which would be a great deal considering he had access to Hillary’s most trusted manager. At a minimum he has some of the missing 30,000 emails. It could be other stuff related to the Clinton Foundation and other things.

  22. Okay, the NeoGaftards do apparently have a reason for their ridiculous overconfidence: Nate Cohn is telling them all is well and that crooked Hillary is well ahead in NC. Cohn is completely wrong but he is a serious person so I understand the liberals trusting him.

  23. While we wait for the Weiner-gasm that is sure to come, let’s all sing along with Hillary’s Theme, as borrowed from the late, great Warren Zevon.

Some days I feel like my shadow’s casting me
Some days the sun don’t shine
Sometimes I wonder what tomorrow’s gonna bring
When I think about my dirty life and times

One day I came to a fork in the road
Folks, I just couldn’t go where I was told
Now they’ll hunt me down and hang me for my crimes
If I tell about my dirty life and times

I had someone ’til she went out for a stroll
    Should have run after her
It’s hard to find a girl with a heart of gold
    When you’re living in a four-letter world

And if she won’t love me then her sister will
    She’s from Say-one-thing-and-mean-another’s-ville
And she can’t seem to make up her mind
When she hears about my dirty life and times

Some days I feel like my shadow’s casting me
Some days the sun don’t shine
Sometimes I wonder why I’m still running free
All up and down the line

Gets a little lonely, folks, you know what I mean
I’m looking for a woman with low self-esteem
To lay me out and ease my worried mind
While I’m winding down my dirty life and times

Who’ll lay me out and ease my worried mind
While I’m winding down my dirty life and times

    • Dem’s November surprise just dropped. Something about a “preliminary investigation” by the FBI on Paul Manafort. Wasn’t he the guy Trump FIRED two and a half months ago because he was doing a rotten job?

Is this the only thing they’ve got? Can you say “nothingburger”? Though I’m sure the media will attempt to gee this up.

    • I am still here. Lion had three posts in short succession and I post on the previous but didnt see a need to comment on this one since we have so little new information and by now the Clinton response team has their position coordinated.

One thing I would put no stock in is Huma not knowing about the emails on the laptop. In her separation from State Department she signed a document saying she has returned all materials. The lawyers have obviously detected this as a bright line and have decided that she cant have know anything about the existence of the laptop login. Otherwise its a slam dunk criminal charge.

I would like to see a Trump win because there is no way Clinton would see it as legitimate, based as it is on an October surprise (nevermind that they were all in favor of the Bush DUI October Surprise). That would have the salutatory effect of having the Democrats lose support for Federalism, which would be good. Frankly the only hope for the country is that we devolve to more of a articles of confederation of states rather than the current system where California/NY politicians try to dictate to every other state what their bathroom policies are allowed to be.

And the Dues ex Weiner is none of Trumps doing. He is still a terrible candidate and would probably be a worse office holder. If he wins something it wont be of his own doing.

  25. Reality begins to seep in: NeoGaf now saying that FL will be “very very close”. They also claim that Trump is just cannibalizing his election day voters with all the early votes he’s getting, same thing team Romney said in about Obama’s early FL vote in 2012.

FL, NC, OH and IA are done. Onward to PA, NH, CO and NV!

      • You like to be in a state of depression here, so I bring sad news here.

More than half of America is asleep. Just look at all the wealth that is only concentrated in the Northeast and California, and at the hands of a few. Yeah, you’re one of them. Any NYer with a roof under their head lives better than any trailer park bum down south or any peasant in flyover county.
Interestingly, there are a few trailer vans with Southern license plates that are parked in certain areas of Manhattan, nice areas too. Some of these guys come here for the jobs and the food, but can’t afford the rent.

I left NYC because of this: NAMs are everywhere and the high cost of rent to avoid them as neighbors. America is also a cultural desert outside of Manhattan and a few parts of Brooklyn. Furthermore, I can’t stand SWPLs, despite having similar tastes.

The NY metropolitan area is a cultural desert outside of those areas. But there is culture elsewhere.

      • Well, NYC has ethnic neighborhoods and their respective foods, most of which are prole. There are museums and broadway shows.

What is that the rest of America is superior to NYC in terms of culture? Perhaps music festivals in places like Nashville, the Southwest, and the Left Coast.
