New Hampshire

with 20 comments

The RCP average has it at +0.6 Clinton in a four-way race and +0.3 Clinton in a two-way race.

New Hampshire results will probably come in before any other state, so if one candidate or the other has a decisive win here, it would indicate how the white vote will go in other states. There are very few minorities in New Hampshire so we won’t learn much about the black or Hispanic vote.

New Hampshire is a mix of prole whites and college-educated suburbanites who live in the influence of Boston: less prole than Pennsylvania but more prole and than Massachusetts.

  1. For what it’s worth:

In Dixville Notch (NH), Hillary Clinton beat Donald Trump 4-2. Libertarian Gary Johnson received one vote, and the 2012 Republican candidate, Mitt Romney received a surprise write-in ballot. In the slightly larger burg of Hart’s Location, Clinton won with 17 votes to Trump’s 14. Johnson got three votes, while write-ins Bernie Sanders and John Kasich each got one. And in Millsfield, Trump won decisively, 16-4, with one write-in for Bernie Sanders. So, in the three New Hampshire towns with midnight voting, Trump came out ahead 32-25.

I don’t know what that proves, but if we could just stop the counting NOW then Trump wins!

  2. Best of luck lads. Independence day 2.0.

There are a lot of alt-righties elsewhere in the world, hoping for another body blow to the globalists.

    • A Trump win wouldn’t be a body blow. It would be a decapitation.

Yep, pretty much. Still a fairly strong philosophy of “Live Free or Die” and preference for minimal-government, but that’s weakening every year as more and more working professionals flee high-tax, bloated, cronyism government MA for southern NH and bring their liberalism with them. Within ten years after high school graduation, nearly 100% of my former classmates had relocated to NH once they decided on starting a family.

    • The “Live Free of Die” thing is really overrated. This is a state that went for Lodge over Goldwater in the ’64 primry.

      • Anyone who voted in that primary is dead or in a nursing home. And it’s not surprising they went for the famous and popular dynastic WASP from the neighboring state over some dude they’d never heard of, with a weird name, from Arizona (is that even a state?).

  4. Per the latest RCP “no toss up” map, if Trump takes NH he wins.

  5. Maine is the most prole state in New England (if not the entire Northeast). It is always a reliable blue state but I would expect it to be a lot closer this year.

    • Maine awards electoral votes via a hybrid rather than winner take all method so if Trump wins the more rural 2nd Congressional district he wins 1 electoral vote in Maine even if he loses statewide.

  6. But aren’t New Hampshire whites a little more amenable to the Dem party due to Bernie’s proximity and due to the fact that they still have white Democrats there at the state/local level so it’s still a brand name that resonates with them.

Some areas of the US are going devoid of white Democrats very quickly, especially the Sun Belt. They’re already seeing the future of the Democratic party as the anti-white party, much more so than Northeasterners.

  8. These elections are very unusual. Went to get a bagel and coffee in the morning and a Mexican guy behind the counter told me he is voting Trump. Went to buy beer for lunch and a Pakistani guy told me that he is voting Trump. Are they serious? I don’t think I’m very intimidating, so I guess they must be. A Mexican girl called to urge me to vote. ‘Doesn’t matter for whom’, she says. ‘Just go out and vote’. I had a fun conversation with her, totally idiotic girl. How much she gets paid to make these phone call I wonder? All the Jews I know vote Trump, except for my boss. He wouldn’t tell me whom he votes for so it mist be Clinton. He belongs to a very whimpy chassidic group that is left leaning, so it figures. I think Trump is gonna win it.

    • I predict that Trump will win the prole Jewish vote in Brooklyn.

    • I think Trump is gonna win it.

Based on that sample? Please, Trump isn’t even going to win NY state let alone New York City.

Trump will be annihilated in California, New York, Massachusetts etc etc. Any densely populated area is death for Trump.

We are talking a Trump win by just getting the minimum of 270 EC votes.

It will be a super close shave win for Trump or Hillary wins any number of ways.

    • That Mexican guy working behind the counter is probably illegal, but he still may be able to vote in NYC.

  9. lion, write more about the senate races. I’m watching that closer than the POTUS race.

if Ayotte holds in NH, the R’s will control the senate. If she falls, the D’s will flip the senate IMO.

    • If Trump loses I want the Dems to get the Senate, because I want the unabashed Dem program to soar, thus bringing on the final end game in this war.
