Hillary lied! Lion predicted it!

with 61 comments

On October 20th, the day after the last debate, I wrote:

The mainstream media is making a Big Deal about Trump’s refusal to commit to accepting the “outcome” of the election.

Despite the mainstream media meme that Trump is a big liar, Trump is actually not very comfortable with lying, so he gave an honest answer. Hillary lied. We know damn well that if there’s a close election in a swing state, that Hillary is going to contest it just like Gore contested Florida.

Looks like I was 100% right about that. Hillary lied. Yesterday, the NY Times reported:

Nearly three weeks after Election Day, Hillary Clinton’s campaign said on Saturday that it would participate in a recount process in Wisconsin incited by a third-party candidate and would join any potential recounts in two other closely contested states, Pennsylvania and Michigan.

  1. Hilary is a classic psychopath: compulsive lying, low impulse control, rage, lack of reflection on mistakes, grubby striving by sleeping with partners in law firm and up and coming politicians etc

Read about what ex-secret service people, Bill’s old floozies, people from Arkansaw say about her etc.

She screamed at Bill Clinton to cancel a major foreign policy speech so she could have a presser on her healthcare law. Her daughter is a make marriage with some well connected goldman gamma.

Her brothers are both convicted fraudsters and scammers. (genetics matter)

She would 100% have meant war with either Iran/Russia.

  2. You may be right about the gist of your post, but I don’t think a recount should be considered not accepting the outcome. It is just making sure the outcome is correct. All ballots should have paper records that can be double checked, and close states should be recounted. It’s a matter of having a basic level of trust in our elections.

    • If this was really about making sure the outcome is correct then they’d be doing a recount in New Hampshire as well, which Clinton won by a smaller number of votes than in any of Trump’s victories in PA/WI/MI.

    • I disagree- the purported purpose of this recount are pure bunk and even the hardline Democrats admit its not going to be successful.

Sure, it make sense for Stein to seize the moment to bilk gullible leftists out of more money. This is exactly what happened in 2004 with the Black Box Voting scam. And she will get people to invest their hopes in her.

Whats in it for HRC is far more interesting. We knows that she wont “win” but maybe she is hoping for enough FUD that she can strut around like someone people recall basically won the vote but got jobbed in some vague way that no one quote remembers. Kind of like how Mikeca thinks Gore won Florida.

Right now she is a loser. Maybe she see an opening here for her to move into some sort of fallen hero role.

      November 27, 2016 at 12:24 pm

      • Gore did sort of win FLA. If the recount had gone through he would have won if the ballots were counted the way Bush wanted them to be, although Gore would have lost had the ballots been counted the way Gore wanted.

Certainly the Supreme Court was legally incorrect to declare the recount unconstitutional. But then again, the Constitution doesn’t matter, as Donald Trump is about to prove with his destruction of the immigrant community.

  3. I was going to comment, “In other posts, Lion predicts blue sky before the year is out”, but yeah, given the way they went on about it, I didn’t think they would be so shameless as to actually go through with it barring a 100 vote spread or something.

I predict the mainstream media will laud the democrats for their commitment to defend the sanctity of the vote but will stop short of the illegal immigrants, convicted felons and dead people voting. The idea of having to provide an ID to vote will remain a Horror tantamount to the Holocaust. Did anyone predict they would turn the loathsome scale to 11 after the election?

  4. Recounts rarely overturn initial vote counts even when the margin is less than 1000 votes. In Trump’s case there is no swing state where the gap between her and Trump is close enough that should could hope to win even if they recount every vote a hundred times.

  6. It’s an old Democrat trick to wait a few weeks to ask for a recount. This relaxes the other side from remaining vigilant and allows the Dems time to fabricate votes.

    CamelCaseRob

    November 27, 2016 at 10:27 am

  7. The problem with a question like “will you accept the outcome?” is that it is vague. If it means “will you promise not to call for a recount or investigate irregularities to the extent of the law?” then then the answer should be “of course not”. If it means “will you promise not to keep agitating or – God forbid – call for violence after legal options have been exhausted?” then the answer should be “yes, of course”. By failing to make the distinction, the media handed Trump a BS question.

But Clinton isn’t really doing anything wrong by asking for a recount.

  9. This is Hillary being very stupid, if her goal is to damage Trump by mucking up the electoral process. Anyone else reminded of the primaries, and how the other Republican candidates acted? Trump will still be President on Jan 20, 2017, and now she’s just handed him every reason in the world to fight back politically against her. If she does this, Trump won’t feel obliged to stand by his earlier remarks to not investigate or prosecute her. She’s playing with fire, when she could have retired graciously.

    • I agree with this.

BTW, Bill Mitchell who is the biggest Trump supporter on Twitter, thinks Obama didn’t want Hillary to win. They were willing to concede 2016-2018 to Trump, try to make him fail in every way, sabotage him, and come back with an Obama type in 2018.

Lion, you don’t understand Obama. He’s not giving up power. He’s staying in DC and he’ll be the de facto head of the Dem. party for the foreseeable future. Eventually you’ll see reason.

      • There is no question that Obama wanted Hillary to win. Absolutely none. Obama has been attacking Trump since before Trump was even the favorite to win the Republican nomination.

Obama is a true believing globalist, and the most important issue to him is immigration. Watching Trump destroy his (Obama’s) open borders policies will be a very painful experience for Obama.

      • Otis,

You’re full of shit. Yes, Obama is a true believing globalist but he’s smart enough to see that populism is a rising surge, so he’ll roll with that punch. No, he didn’t want Hillary to win. Watch Trump win, watch him fail, and let Obama come in to pick up the pieces. That’s why he’s not leaving DC.

Now, where I think Obama is wrong is that he misjudges Trump’s political abilities. But he’ll be in DC, thwarting Trump’s every move, calling on his “street” army every time a cop tries to arrest someone.

      • I don’t believe that for a minute. Obama may have had mixed feelings about having Hillary win but there is no way that Obama expected or hoped or imagined that Trump would win. In the progressive world, that was just not possible.

In addition, what is this talk about 2018? It’s the Dems who should fear 2018, not Trump. It’s the Dems that have the most vulnerability then, and Trump (and Steve Bannon) should ensure that the Senate after 2018 will have at least 60 Republicans.

For those who have not yet seen it, I heartily recommend you watch Generation Zero, written. directed and produced by Bannon back in 2010.

Prophetic, visionary and factual, this documentary should instil both hope and fear. Hope, that Trump and his team are indeed the vanguards of the turning. Fear, that the Dem & GOP establishment and the Wall St. banks, together with the elites, will be able to stop the draining of the swamp. I just hope that the SS will be able to protect Trump, because they will literally stop at nothing to protect their interests.

      • Why wouldn’t Obama want HRC to lose? Knock the broad out, once and for all, and focus on 2018. They still have the demographic momentum. Trump only won by 150K votes, after all.

I’m not saying they’re right. I just think that Mitchell is right that Obama hates Hillary and didn’t want her to be president. This is a turf battle more than it is a contest of ideas. Well, as much. If Hillary had won, she would be the head of the Democratic Party, and would be able to remake it in her image. It’s still his.

Re immigration, Obama only did what previous presidents did, starting with Clinton. It was Bill Clinton who began the process of encouraging illegal immigration as a Democratic recruiting machine.

Obama put that on steroids, I agree – but if Trump is a disaster, then a Democrat president can redo what Trump tried to undo. Tried. He hasn’t taken office yet. Let’s see whether he does anything.

If Trump puts everyone on Medicare or Medicaid, I think Obama can live with that.

Trade – I don’t really think Obama would be opposed to Americans getting good paying manufacturing jobs. He’s bad, but not that bad, or at least, not bad in that way. I just think that the rot in the country may be so deep that no one can reverse it. Eamonn Fingleton sure thinks so. This is a problem of many presidency’s making, and Republicans contributed to the mess.

  13. The Electoral College electors meet in each state on Dec. 19 to choose the next president. Drudge links to an article stating the purpose of the recount strategy is to delay the outcomes in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin beyond Dec. 19th, which would deny Trump the required 270 electoral votes he needs to claim the presidency.

The U.S. House of Representatives would then select the president, with each state having one vote. The GOP-dominant House will definitely choose a Republican, but maybe not Trump. As a minimum, the Clinton strategy is to harass Trump and make his presidency look less legitimate. The author of the article, Richard Baehr, offers no evidence to back up his theory.

Baehr’s theory does possibly explain why Trump is hastily making peace with the Republican establishment, whose support he’ll need if the election goes to the House.

      • “Are there restrictions on who the Electors can vote for?

There is no Constitutional provision or Federal law that requires Electors to vote according to the results of the popular vote in their states. Some states, however, require Electors to cast their votes according to the popular vote. These pledges fall into two categories—Electors bound by state law and those bound by pledges to political parties.

The U.S. Supreme Court has held that the Constitution does not require that Electors be completely free to act as they choose and therefore, political parties may extract pledges from electors to vote for the parties’ nominees. Some state laws provide that so-called “faithless Electors” may be subject to fines or may be disqualified for casting an invalid vote and be replaced by a substitute elector. The Supreme Court has not specifically ruled on the question of whether pledges and penalties for failure to vote as pledged may be enforced under the Constitution. No Elector has ever been prosecuted for failing to vote as pledged.

Today, it is rare for Electors to disregard the popular vote by casting their electoral vote for someone other than their party’s candidate. Electors generally hold a leadership position in their party or were chosen to recognize years of loyal service to the party. Throughout our history as a nation, more than 99 percent of Electors have voted as pledged. ”

  16. I only only see two reasons to do a recount. The first is to overturn the results through legal challenges. In every election there are votes disqualified on technicalities. Armies of lawyers go in and start haggling that certain ballots that were thrown out shouldn’t have been and that other ballots that were allowed shouldn’t have been. And the rulings end up being politically motivated. Courts will rule based strictly on their own political biases. There is nothing fair and impartial about a recount.

The second reason to do a recount is to delegitimize the winner and undermine their mandate. Having a bitter recount battle helps the losers rally their opposition to the winners. They did it to Bush in 2000. These recounts signal that the Dems are going to go all out to obstruct Trump’s agenda. The Dems will try to Bork his cabinet and SC picks. The MSM will smear everything he does. Big Social will try to censor news they don’t like. And radicals will be out in the streets protesting and rioting.

Meanwhile, Trump will be trying to dismantle everything they’ve built brick by brick. Have you seen his cabinet picks? They’re a bunch of demolition experts. This is going to be a political war.

  18. I think I figured this out: Jill Stein was no fan of Hillary so the idea that she is trying to help her is not really credible, I’ve seen her speak up close and personal in a small crowd after midnight once, she seemed to be a true believer, naive but a decent person, I say she’s working with Trump and is gas-lighting the Clintons so that Trump has an opening to bring charges against them and their foundation and remove the Clinton influence forever.

It’s been a setup the whole time, Trump plays like he’s going to let Clinton skate, says he doesn’t want to hurt her because she’s been through so much, puhlease, with the rumors about the one kid, he knew exactly what she was going for with the “great kids” comment and he’s got to be seething, backchannels with Stein, Clinton like the incompetent rube she is falls for it and is even financing the effort. Stein gets the money, a democratic party more to her liking sans clintons and she probably is deeply suspicious about what is going on with the cheese pizzas like anybody else who’s even mildly aware of things like Saville, Hollywood, Franklin, now Norway, etc etc.

This Trump man, it’s like he doesn’t have to read the 48 laws of power, he just Is the 48 laws of power probably with a couple of extras that no one else knows about because we’re just not at that level of evolution.

Most importantly, Trump isn’t lying. Everyone knows that non-citizens vote illegally. I knew several foreign grad students (all liberals) here on student visas, who used to vote in American elections. With 20 million adult non-citizens in the US, some estimates say that up to 6 million illegal votes could have been cast in this election. Puts the Hildabeast’s “lead in the popular vote” into perspective.
