Tom Perez vs Keith Ellison

Perez is the choice of the Obama/Clinton wing of the party, while the black Muslim Israel-hating Ellison is the choice of the Sanders wing. Who will win?

* * *

Looks like Perez will win in the second round. He was only one vote short in the first round.

* * *

Ellison picked up no votes at all on the second round. Perez wins.

  4. Can they really be dumb enough to pick Keith Ellison? The internet seems to want him, but surely the grown-ups in the DNC will realise … surely … I guess that’s the same thing the other side said about Trump.

  5. And what will be the effect on the Republican party? To empower the neocons/nevertrumpers within the Republican party or force them into a truce with Trump if the anti-Israel guy wins? My question assumes that the neocons and nevertrumpers have a heightened interest in Israel for whatever reason, legitimate no doubt and not based on tribalism.

It’s not legitimate its paranoia among Jews and End of Days lunacy among Evangelical White Christians.

Israelis roll their eyes at this American delusion about protecting “muh Isrul” as if they are just some poor little wimpy country.

And of course its “tribalism”, to use that euphemism.

  6. People are freaking out about Keith Ellison because he’s an anti-Israel Muslim (he was actually raised Catholic, but converted to Islam which just goes to show what kind of character we’re dealing with), but Tom Perez is also a legitimate ideological lunatic in his own right. The Democrats are really doubling down on crazy here. It’s fascinating. They have truly started to believe their own bullshit.

      • My family is close friends with a richer-than-Midas Conquistador-American family from the DR. Most of them live here now, but the matriarch still holds court, attended by servants, on her enormous compound in the DR. She flies to Miami twice a week for shopping. They’re Republicans and have remained loyal to Trump, though I believe they were for Rubio in the primaries.

  9. Perez is a brown supremacist wrapped in white Conquistador skin.

It’s interesting that most brown supremacists possess nearly 100% European blood…. It’s like some sort of survivor’s guilt, where they atone for their white skin by screaming “Chicano Pride!”

In light of the modern anti-white, heterophobic DNC, Perez is moderate middle-of-the-road. I hope they triple down on failure and choose Ellison.

    • Being even the slightest shade “off-white” means you’re non-white in the US. In traditional US culture, it’s debatable whether Italians on the whole are white or not. Ditto Spaniards. They often have dark hair and eyes, and their skin tans easily. How do we not know if they’re actually Moors after all?

In the grand scheme of things, Tom Perez is a white Conquistador-American. But compared to, say, Nordics, Celts and western Slavs, his skin looks a little tan, so he grew up feeling he was on the fringe of white American society.

    • “It’s interesting that most brown supremacists possess nearly 100% European blood…. It’s like some sort of survivor’s guilt”

It isn’t that at all. They are simply on the make. These are generally mediocrities, but they are sharp enough, like Obama was, to know how to play the racial spoils system. So sure, if you’re Xochitl Hinojosa, in reality you’re just another pretty white girl, and you are competing with thousands of others for every good SJW job. But if you’re “Chicana activist Xochitl Hinojosa,” why then suddenly you’re running media for Hillary Clinton. See how it works?

    • Wikipedia says that Perez is related to many of Dominican Republic’s most prominent (read white) families. There are probably only several thousand white Dominicans (out of a population of 8 million), oh, and I’m sure that they all hold dual Spanish, Dominican citizenship

Lot of cross marriage amongst these families, leading to genetic problems within offspring. Didn’t Joaqim Balaguer have two dwarf sisters?

Interestingly, Beaaguer, thrice elected President of Dominican Republic, wrote a treatise against inter-racial marriage. Caught between a rock and hard place regarding marriage in DR. To his good fortune he went totally blind later in life. Didn’t have to see the actual appearances of his countrymen.

  10. It seems like the other DNC candidates who dropped out after round 1 ended up advising their voters to go over to Perez, the establishment (Obama chosen) candidate.

Ellison had 200 votes after round 1 and 200 votes after round 2.

Perez will be very circumspect in his statements, he won’t be a lefty loon pushing the party even further from the center like Ellison would’ve done.

  13. No, no. Perez is the end of the DNC. Many people think being establishment pro wll street and pro neverending war on theatre terrorism is the way to go i.e. the last 20 years.

In fact, if the dems turn populist, they would be far more dangerous.

Now all the dems are going to go to sleep and continue their wipeout at all levels of government. When you have neocon and neocon lite, people choose neocon, unless something different like Trumpism is offered. So this is the end of the Dems I believe. There’s nothing new they can do except hope the neocons come over to them.

  14. Well, Perez is the hand pick of Obama.

The Democrats have big problems across the entire ballot.

Now that Obama is supposed to be going into “grass roots” party-building they will be working together. But I’m not sure what they think Obama knows about party infrastructure as he’s always been fast forwarded ahead due to orders from the top.

Obama only used the Southside of Chicago as a base to get started, from the safety of ritzy white Hyde Park. When he returns and builds his library he will associate with non Ivy-League blacks about as much as he always has – none.

Article about how Obama’s style was bad for the party (which maybe kept his popularity numbers artificially high as he avoided conflict):

Blacks are the most potent and reliable voting block in the Democrat coalition. Now, blacks be the deplorables of the Democrat coalition. Hilarity. Fireworks. Ha, ha, ha.

If Sanders had won the nomination I think that he would be President right now. Similarly, Ellison was a stronger candidate than Perez. Democrats have shot themselves in the foot twice in a row now. This is all due to the Clinton influence in the party.

  18. Let the Democrat party become the rabid NAM party. More whites will wake-up.

But the greater dangers to Trump and America is the Cuckublican Party. Did you see the short, fat grinning, Jewish pumpkin-head Bill Kristol talk about replacing America’s ungrateful and lazy working class? Have you seen what that yellow-teethed psycho McCain has been up to? Paul Ryan? Lindsey Graham? Mitch “mason verger” McConnell? The next generation of Mexican Bushes?

They are controlled opposition who are just as anti-White as the Ds, but even more anti-worker. They’ve duped generations by being the “implicit” white party when they were *never* anything of the kind.

If I had to choose between the liquidation of the Ds or the cucks, I’d choose the cucks.

I’m ashamed I *ever* voted or identified as Republican.

There’s probably a breaking point where even military honor can’t keep his veteran colleagues silent about his betrayals in Vietnam.

Paul Ryan is here to stay unfortunately because he is Reince’s friend from Wisconsin machine politics and because he has high approval in his district, but honestly Ryan is for sale so he shouldn’t be that hard to buy off.

The Bushes are done because the sons lack the grit and stone cold alphaness of the father to run a CIA empire. Also Bush Jr. is lazy and not really interested in that sort of thing. Jeb wants to be a top achiever, but he lacks the alphaness.

Actually, Jeb’s son might be a Trumpist, because power respects power (his sons have Latino machismo from his wife and don’t give a shit about identifying with mestizos).
