Black kids in Florida mock drowning man
This is in Cocoa Florida, a town that is 33% black. From the voices on the tape, you can tell the kids are black. The drowning victim is also black. (Imagine the outcry of racism that there would be if white kids mocked a drowning black man! But of course that wouldn’t happen, white kids would use their smartphone to call 911.)
The problem I have with the mainstream media is that no one is noticing the kids’ race, and noticing the extreme dysfunction of black communities. Why are blacks busy protesting police when that’s how black kids behave? (And Michael Brown, the guy whose shooting sort of triggered the whole BLM movement, was one of those dysfunctional poorly-behaving black youth who robbed a convenience store and then attacked a police officer.)
Forget about whether the kids committed a crime that can be punished by the law. They didn’t. It’s not a crime to not help someone in need of help. That’s a rule of law that goes back hundreds of years. But they did commit a heinous moral crime.
Trayvon Martin, the black kid who was shot in self defense by George Zimmerman, came from the same underclass Floridian black subculture, which is why I have no doubt that Trayvon attacked Zimmerman and was beating him up when Zimmerman shot him.

I’m torn. Jews are very liberal and open-minded, on the one hand. On the other hand, Jews occupied prominent positions in organized crime back in the 20s until the 60s (watch any movie about the mafia or Las Vegas, there’s always a Jewish money-man in the background). Jews were also prominent members in the pornographic industry and famous successful, con-artists like, Bernie Madoff, often have Jewish ancestry.

Early Jewish writings, with their long lists of ludicrously-draconian punishments within the ingroup (sassing your parents = death, laziness = death, masturbation = death, shoddy workmanship = death, adultery = stoned to death, etc) and gleeful depictions of raping/pillaging/massacring any and all outgroups, even near-identical tribes like Samaritans, don’t strike me as having had very-highly-empathetic authors, even accounting for the brutal times they were written in.
Compare the Iliad, with its very sympathetic portrayal of the Trojan antagonists and its depiction of the destruction of Troy more as awful and avoidable tragedy than glorious triumph.
Of course, high empathy might’ve been acquired at some later point. The New Testament, which was of course mostly and probably entirely written by Jews, nearly feels anachronistic in how much its authors were bursting with Love Love Love for outcasts (the poor, lepers, prostitutes, thieves, adulterers…) and outgroups (Samaritans, Roman soldiers, tax collectors and Jewish collaborators, gentiles/foreigners in general).
Or the explanation for the discrepancy might be as simple as that the OT was written by zealous, nationalistic proles (Yakov) while the NT was written by Greek-speaking, er, rootless cosmopolitans (Pinch Sulzberger), and neither was really a representative work.
Leaving aside Jews for the moment, based on observed behavior, my guess is the most-empathetic people on Earth are from Protestant Europe, specifically the subset that is of Germanic genetic origin (so excluding not-as-empathetic groups like the Scots-Irish, genetically mostly-Irish, and historically the Prussians, genetically mostly Poles and Balts). And whites as a whole are more empathetic than the other races, including other Caucasoids (Arabs, South Asians and Central Asians).
Neither of which ought to be counted as a point in their column. Empathy is not so much a sense like vision or hearing, where the more you have of it the more accurate your perception is, as it is an emotional state.
Too much unhappiness is depression, too much rage is anger disorder and too much fear is panic disorder, but even “positive” emotional states become delusions past a point: Too much exuberance is mania, too much determination is OCD, too much pride is malignant narcissism, too much imaginativeness is schizophrenia.
When we see or hear of other people behaving in a way we never would ourselves, there are two ways that we might react.
The first is to assume that since we find their behavior disordered and objectionable, that person must be inherently disordered and objectionable as well. This is the “disgust reaction” associated with political conservatism.
The second is to imagine some set of prior circumstances that would cause ourselves to act in the same way, and to assume that these are what motivated the person’s actions. The more empathy we have, the more likely we are to react in this way.
Too little empathy causes the delusional mindset of psychopaths, who react with disgust to the most minor perturbance — “I killed him because he was looking at me funny.”
On the other hand, much of the time it really is the case that people perpetrate disordered and objectionable actions because their innate personal qualities are also disordered and objectionable. As we become more empathetic, the more likely we are to erroneously assume sympathetic motivations behind bad actions.
As we increase our empathy further, so do we increase our delusion. As the behavior worsens, so too must the levels of tragedy in our imagined backstories for the perpetrator. Paradoxically, the more heinous the acts, the more sympathetic the pathological empath becomes to the perpetrators, as the supposed motivations become ever more elaborate tales of woe. Simultaneously, and also paradoxically, the pathological empath reacts with greater and greater disgust at the “root causes” they suppose to motivate the bad actions.
The “leapfrogging loyalties” of the pathological empath (leftist, SWPL, baizuo) and the jingoism of the conservative share a similar cause. The pathological empath defaults to sympathizing with the unfamiliar while the conservative defaults to disgust at the unfamiliar.
The pathological empath sees people who sometimes commit heinous acts, but who live lives similar enough to their own that they know for a fact no sympathetic excuse exists for their acts. Thus they are left no option other than disgust. Whereas the outgroup is always sympathetic, and therefore superior.
The conservative sees that both the ingroup and the outgroup commit bad actions, but they know enough of the ingroup to know sometimes the bad actions of an ingroup member are extenuated by their circumstances and life experiences. Whereas the outgroup acts badly for what looks to be no reason at all. Thus the ingroup is superior to any outgroup.
The leapfrogging loyalties of the pathological empath are in one sense double standards and in another surprisingly consistent. If you went to school in the Anglosphere, realm of extreme pathological empaths, you were probably taught that the bad behavior of the Germans 1933-45 was caused by their poor treatment in the nasty Versailles Treaty, without which they’d have been cuddly teddy bears. Whether or not this is an accurate assessment, it would never be the popular consensus in slighly-less-empathetic France.
Are the Ashkenazim especially empathetic? It’s plausible; you can observe large numbers of them displaying clear leapfrogging loyalties by at latest the late 19c (“the working class” > religious Jews), and they also form the national-suicide voting bloc in Israel.
As for the especially non-empathetic, the least are probably Central American natives, with their torture-murder human sacrifice festivals of yesteryear and worst-in-the-world violent crime rates at present. Africans are pretty clearly the next least empathetic, while among Europeans Chechens seem to display the least, more broadly Russians do, and still more broadly Slavs.

(1) empathy has nothing to do with political allegiances; it’s about whether you help someone pick up the stuff he’s just dropped while tripping over a sidewalk-crack or walk on by laughing. (2) being into “abuse porn” is not only compatible with real-life empathy, it’s a predictable side-effect of hyper-empathy, which can prevent you from “objectifying” a woman sufficiently for effective normal pick-ups and banging: just as I vividly imagine putting my fist through “Ya, everyone” ‘s face and tearing his head off but wouldn’t even be verbally rude to him if I met him because he’s probably a sad or nervous skinny or blobby guy with an averted or uncomfortably fixed gaze. (3) nazis are destroying website after website after website. Blog-comments-pages are a sick and sad pseudo-bar anyway; nazis are the final parasites that drench the whole environment in stinking puke. (Ovid, who was not Jewish, describes Pentheus’ rape of Achilles’ mom Thetis in great detail, at length.)

Spain, even more amazing, after decades of Francoism, it surpasses the United States in progressive liberalism, a perpetual right wing nation that masquerades itself as the freest in the world, inviting the dumbest of migrants from the 3rd world who are pitted against with the most delusional of natives in the Western world. Even worse, Asiatics with their long history of civilization are just primitives by comparison. And when I say primitives, I’m talking about a dearth of civic engagement and social progress. Europeans killed each other by the millions because they invented modern firearms and mechanized warfare, not because they have any particular love of killing. They’ve got nothing on the Chinese, who repeatedly killed each other by the millions despite all living in the same country and not having modern military technology.
The Vikings had a primitive culture just as every culture has been primitive at one point or another. Civilization took a longer time to spread to Scandinavia because Scandinavia is cold and rural. But in the historical blink of an eye the Vikings all converted to Christianity, assimilated completely to the indigenous cultures of all the territories they conquered, and generally were persuaded easier than a two-dollar whore to jettison every unique aspect of their own culture. Which is much in keeping with all their subsequent behavior.
The Nazi electoral (and SS volunteerism) bases were among Prussians and Catholics. Northern Germany outside Prussia was then, as it is now, the Social Democrats’ stronghold.
As I said, the Russians, as evidenced by their brutal history and brutal present day, are less empathetic than other Europeans. Which makes sense given Russia is the borderland dividing Europe and Asia.
Moreover, strangely enough, sadism which is ideologically-directed at specific groups, as opposed to just a generalized sadism, requires a certain level of empathy. The disgust response we get from seeing something unpleasant happen is unavoidable. Rather than avoiding a disgust response entirely, the pathological empath displaces their disgust from the direct to the imagined “root cause” of the unpleasantness. You do not want to be living amongst pathological empaths who are all convinced that you’re a “root cause.”

I forgot to add, the World Wars killed so many men that they will have had a very significant effect on the evolutionary history of Europe. Less-empathetic conservative/jingoist men would have been the first to volunteer, and so the first to be killed. In WWI at least, the casualty rates among early volunteers must have approached 100%. So even if Europeans weren’t always so touchy-feely, they are now.

Florida is by far one of the most disgusting states of Meriprolestan that passes off as civilization. A state where you have a toxic mix of proles, NAMs-especially Caribbean Latin types, and obnoxious Northeastern transplants is sure a hellhole.
Steve Sailer once pondered the reason for the lack of East Asians in Florida, vs their ubiquitous presence in California, both states with warm climes. This is a no brainer — it’s the demographics. In terms of Hispanics, California has Mestizos, and Florida is populated by fiesty Caribbeans.

I read an article that claimed Orlando was becoming one of those cities where wealthy Asians are buying up real estate, much like LA, Toronto, etc. No idea if this is true, but it wouldn’t surprise me. The Asian tourist phenomenon would suggest Orlando would be on the radar due to DisneyWorld.

I recently moved to Florida and I have a lot of family in the state. Most people that live here hate it. Outside of the nice parts of Miami, Naples, and some of the other wealthy enclaves in Southwest Florida, this is a very prole state. Rednecks mixed with ghetto blacks, lower-class guidos from the northeast, Mexicans, all varieties of Caribbeans, and South Americans. I’m surprised violent clusterfucks don’t happen more regularly.

Yes, I’m not disputing that Orlando property values are lower than other cities. That just makes it a prime market for wealthy Asian investors to exploit. In another decade or so it might start growing the sort of Asian ethnic enclave you see in other major US cities that have been captured by foreign investors.

I passed through this area recently and have some family that lives nearby. Parts of Cocoa Beach look pretty ghetto. And sadly, this type of behavior doesn’t surprise me. This kind of callousness is part and parcel of sociopathy, which I estimate infects about half of the black underclass (IQ < 90) at pathological levels (kind of speculative, I know). They see someone who looks weak, and they take advantage of them and/or mock them, and don't even think twice about it.

This event happened in Cocoa, FL not Cocoa Beach, FL. Two very different cities. Cocoa is 15 miles west of Cocoa Beach, and is is 31% black and 29% poverty rate. Cocoa Beach is a small narrow, barrier island city of 11,000 people sandwiched between the Atlantic and the Intracoastal, less than 1% black and just 7% poverty rate. Many well-off retirees living on Cocoa Beach in luxurious ocean front condos and canal front homes.

One thing I’ve noticed on both the SW and SE coasts of Florida is the YUGE contrast between the communities located on the beach and the ones 10-15 miles inland. Although I guess the fact that such differences exist shouldn’t be surprising…

Regarding Trayvon Martin, I think it’s equally plausible that there may have been some kind of fight instigated by George Zimmerman. I don’t find either character (Zimmerman or Martin) to be particularly sympathetic.
Michael Brown, on the other hand, deserved to get shot.

Trayvon Martin was not underclass. His parents had been married. OK, low bar, but in the black community, even when Trayvon was born 18 or so years ago, the illegitimacy rates were already through the roof. They went on family vacays. There are pics of Trayvon being taken horseback riding. Tracy Martin was and is a long haul truck driver. Sybrina was and is a clerk/administrator. They sound a lot like my own parents, a tough prole daddy married to a lower middle class mom.
Trayvon was cast into chaos when his parents divorced, and his father went thru two more marriages. This actually puts Tracy, the father, into a class well above that of the typical ghetto stud, who avoids marriage like the plague. Tracy just sounds like a working class palooka who needed a woman, wasn’t overly choosy, was decent enough to marry her, and took advantage (or was taken advantage of?) no fault divorce laws.
The racial aspect enters when Trayvon, cast into the chaos of divorce, began imitating the ghetto blacks that he was not. I think a true ghetto thug could and would have punched out Zimmerman’s lights before he got his hands on the gun.
I don’t expect high empathy from you, Lion, but at least get some facts before you write, OK?

Whites who speak with a black accent almost always sound just as they are– whites speaking with a black accent. I’ve met many blacks though who sound definitively white (I’ve had some people, both black and white, say that about me. Although I speak in a low register and sometimes use “ya’ll”).

Black people also tend to have rich, deep voices. Even upper middle class blacks raised in white neighborhoods have a special, distinct timber.
There are wiggers with Ebonics accents, but most of the time you can still tell they’re white, even if the accent comes naturally to them.
Granted, this isn’t to say that it’s impossible to mistake someone’s race over the phone, but the kids in the video sure don’t sound white.

I can tell. I live in a majority black area; I’ve heard black voices in all the usual accents, inclucing generic white American, and black people do indeed have naturally different sounding voices. Is that iron clad one hundred percent of the time? Probably not, but almost all of the time, an experienced listener can pick up on it.

You know, I really don’t find this to be true. Some blacks come reasonably close (John McWhorter comes to mind), but I’ve been in the SF-Oakland-Berkeley area for 50 years, and I’ve yet to encounter a black person whose delivery is indistinguishable from generic white. That’s why I was so pissed when Ito let Cochran walk over him like that.

Their voices are naturally distinctive, the effect being more pronounced in males. I can even tell when listening to a black person with a British accent. If the accent is familiar, you should be able to tell the difference the vast majority of the time.
There are the rare exceptions, of course, but many times when I couldn’t tell at first, I gradually picked up on the difference.

Many blacks who grew up in all white suburbs still have a slight accent. It might be because their parents have a black accent and they pick some of that up or it might be just genetic.
I knew an Asian woman born and raised in the US but still had quite a strong Asian accent, probably because her parents had an Asian accent.

Even Asian-Americans who grew up speaking English and around white people tend to have a distinctive manner of speaking. Again, there are times when their voices are indistinguishable from white ones, but cumulatively Asians do have distinctive voices.
Frankly, with all the various differences between races, I’d be amazed if there weren’t any group differences in our vocalization.

There are absolutely regional and local variations. One of the biggest is that Southern blacks consider themselves tougher and more violent than their Northern counterparts. This is what DMX is talking about when he raps about “fake up North type niggers”. It is also evident in football, where you will sometimes see fans of a team bemoan the fact their team drafted a black athlete from the North rather than what they refer to as a “southern savage negro”.

I defer to your greater knowledge of these matters. When I was younger, it was just the opposite. The northern blacks were considered more violent and aggressive. But I tried to pay as little attention to all this is possible now.

Why aren’t the media covering the extreme dysfunction in black communities? Becuase then they would have to admit that the whole ideology of equality that they have been pushing was a big lie all along, and they would never admit to that. It would be good if welfare was to blame because that could justify getting rid of it. But there is no welfare in Africa and those countries are even more dysfunctional. The problem is clearly genetic. Which is a shame because it means there are no easy solutions.

If it were my group of friends back in the day, I’m pretty sure some of us would stay at the pond and some would run for help. I don’t know if even the good swimmers among us would go in the water… pretty dangerous that far out in gator land, and the fact that the guy went in there in the first place suggests he’s not right in the head.
What I am certain of is that we would not be mocking, jeering and laughing. That’s really the disgusting part. Note how the tone of the guys changes after the guy stops coming up. It’s like the seriousness of the situation is finally dawns on them.

Around here (SWPL suburb) pool lifeguards are almost all teenage girls. Very fine to look at, but I’m not sure how well they’d do at saving an adult from drowning.

Actually, I think this recent case in Milwaukee is worse, but didn’t get much coverage.
A woman goes about burning a house down with gasoline while a group of adults looks on, laughs, and films. Unlike the Florida kids, these people could have easily done something. A man died. Disgusting.

Some years back a group of Native Indian (feather not dot) teenagers made cell phone videos of themselves hunting moose in the Canadian wilderness. The clip made its way online and showed the teens having a captured a live moose and then for a laugh they set the frightened animal on fire. The teens continue to laugh and enjoy themselves while the animal is in agony. And then while the animal is still alive, the drag it into a nearby lake to watch it drown. This was all captured on video, including the riotous good time the men appear to be having. Truly barbaric and horrifying to watch and it really says something about the lack of empathy amongst non-whites.

The kids can be heard on the tape calling the guy who drowned a “junkie.” The guy who drowned had a face covered in tattoos and a long criminal record.
Instead of a general lack of empathy, I suggest that the guy who drowned was known around the neighborhood or at least to the kids on the video as a useless no-good drug addict.

Forget about whether the kids committed a crime that can be punished by the law. They didn’t. It’s not a crime to not help someone in need of help. That’s a rule of law that goes back hundreds of years. But they did commit a heinous moral crime.

The deceased, 31 y/o Jamel Dunn, had several arrests going back back to his teen years, mostly for assault, robbery, resisting arrest, and multiple cases of driving w/o a license. His series of mugshots show the progression of his face tattoos.
I read somewhere that he was “disabled.” He wasn’t too disabled to engage in a life of violent crime. In fact, he must have been released early from his latest prison stint. The on-line record shows a 10/13/17 scheduled release date.

I was taking a short walk through a black neighborhood Saturday to get to my car and was surprised to see an elderly black man hunched over in a wheelchair not moving. I started to walk by but then went over and he told me he was dehydrated and he had been trying to find a place that gave out school backpacks and couldn’t find it at all. He was wanting some for his grandchildren. I got the address from him and then found it a block away and went in and made sure it was the right place. I got a bottle of water from one of the employees and then went back and gave him the water and pointed which direction for him to go in. This took about ten minutes in all and while I was gone it didn’t appear that anyone else bothered to help him because he started thanking me over and over.

When I heard about this story, i knew instinctively that blacks were the “teens”. Though there may be some sort of correlation between IQ and empathy, I think whites are the most empathetic race and blacks probably the least with the varying races falling in between.

The only thing remarkable to me is that middle class status hungry whites continue to feign shock regarding the callousness of blacks. Yes, white youths are capable of heinous behavior and those instances seem all the more shocking given the rarity. Blacks don’t tip well, they tend to drive like jackasses, they steal bikes not locked up without a moments hesitation, they harass women walking around New York. A very large % of the black population are simply awful people, why is this news? Beyond vulgarity and excluding affirmative action, do blacks, as a group contribute anything notable to this society? bouncing balls does not count.
If you were broke down on the side of the road, who do you think would stop to help, on average – black white, mexican or asian? Can you even imagine a group of black youths stopping to help?
That said, it’s tragic that those African Americans who are decent folks have to be lumped in with the rest, but let’s face it, there’s not many second chances with the thugs.

I stop for everyone. It’s nice to help different people. That’s the aspect of the diversity that I enjoy.
Check this out. I was taking my boss and his parents Upstate (that was when I was working on Wall Street). So I see two white(doesn’t make a difference to me, just for the record) women with kids stuck on the other side of the road. I make a u turn, or maybe I took an exit and came back, I don’t remember. At any rate, the car is smoking, they have a carburetor leak, they have no cell phone, but my boss has one (that was ages ago before the cell phones became ubiquitous, but big shots had them). So I get them help, make a u turn and get back on my way. My boss was visibly annoyed, his mother goes: ‘You are such a special person!’ Damn! What’s more elementary then stopping by for someone who needs help? The only thing to do is to call the police or the tow truck? Retorted philosophy of life. That’s what I say.
Maybe they need a boost, like I’d needed, or maybe it’s something simple? Everything is ‘call a tow truck’ now?

The whites, seeing me, a white guy, would correctly assume I used my phone to call a towtruck, and they’d keep driving. Last couple of times I’ve had a breakdown, the only people who stopped to investigate were cops, and they simply said, “Did you call for a towtruck? Yes? Ok, see have a nice day, see ya.”

I’m Asian Indian and I live in a Canadian city with a very small black population and I’ve had very limited contact with black generally. On the basis of black people I’ve met, I’ve generally found many to be personable and charming. I’ve also found some of them to have very short fuses. A minority, but still a disproportionately large number of black women in particular, appear to be completely lacking in self-awareness, and behave in an arrogant and sometimes shockingly rude manner. Note, the blacks I met were mostly middle-class, I imagine the ghetto black population in the US must be something else altogether.

That’s true, black are often fun to talk to. They are like children. I came to a job site and there were 3 black girls talking behind a glass partition and totally ignoring me. So I pressed my nose on the glass and made s scary face. You should have seen how they jumped and laughed afterwards. Oh they loved it. I got excellent service from them after that.
Check this out. I’m working out with my kettlebells on a lake shore and it’s going very good, so I decide to make a short motivational clip for the benefit of humanity, so to speak. There are a white, Korean and a huge black girl to chose from. Whom would you ask to film it? It’s a no brainer – ask the black girl. This hypopatomus enjoyed filming and cheering me on. So it’s all situational – sometimes blacks are the best.
