No more immigration from shithole countries

Reported by the Washington Post:

President Trump grew frustrated with lawmakers Thursday in the Oval Office when they floated restoring protections for immigrants from Haiti, El Salvador and African countries as part of a bipartisan immigration deal, according to two people briefed on the meeting.

“Why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here?” Trump said, according to these people, referring to African countries and Haiti. He then suggested that the United States should instead bring more people from countries like Norway, whose prime minister he met Wednesday.

The comments left lawmakers taken aback, according to people familiar with their reactions. …

This is great! Only Trump could move the Overton window like this.

  1. It is great, but it remains to be seen whether he’s moved the Overton window – as he demonstrably did with immigration – or whether he went over the line, and for this, he’ll be crucified.

      • Yes, the usual script is for the sinner to apologize profusely and prostrate himself and cede authority to his SJW betters. But if Trump sticks to his guns, there’s precious little the Left can do about this. It’s not like he’s some college freshman who can be expelled or removed from housing.

The Left is already going after Trump with close to 100% intensity, what more can they do? Not invite him to their wine and cheese parties? Declare that he’s mentally unfit for office? Compare him to Hitler?

      • “Then you shift the conversation to how immigration is supposed to benefit the average working American.”

No, he’s said the unsayable: that race & immigration are intertwined. He’s not against immigration. That was what the Norway remark was about. He’s not saying the country’s full up – cos it’s not. He’s saying we don’t want certain kinds of immigrants.

Don’t you see that this shifts the discussion to an entirely different plane?? Or as Lion said, the Overton window.

But only blacks are allowed to talk about race. Obama had entertainers in the White House who called him a nigger. (Lion, I’m not going to write “nigga” or “n*gger” or “n-word,” sorry.) That was simply wrong – but he not only got away with it, he was fulsomely praised.

But when a white man or woman talks about race – can’t be allowed. Remember Dr. Laura?

We’ll see how this works out.

  8. Speaking of shithole countries, a progress report on H1Bs from an IT worker, quote:

Anyway, the typical scenario is that every year, a stack of visas goes in for renewal and about a week later they come back stamped [APPROVED]. Very easy. At the start of this year, instead of coming back approved, each application came back with a huge list of questions and requests for documentation about why the applicants were being paid so little. The lawyers were confused and assembled a huge pile of documentation for each applicant and sent it back. Every single application then came back with either more questions or a denial. EVERY SINGLE ONE is either in limbo or denied (you must go back!). I’ve heard this from multiple sources, including several who had their visas held up.

As a result of this, our company’s HR department has quietly decided (I heard this through the grapevine talking to several department heads) to no longer hire employees that need sponsorship. I’ve talked with recruiters and with people I know in several other companies in the area and I’ve heard similar stories everywhere. Pretty much unless you’re making 120k a year on a visa, you’re going to get yanked. The guys like WIPRO and INFOSYS must be shitting their pants over this.

And salaries for developers are already rising as a result. Salaries have been stagnant for several years but in Q4 2017, they started going up noticeably in this area. Trump is truly making IT great again.

Guidos are a subset of italian-Americans, so more IAs means more guidos. But it also means more white European Christians, which is what most of us on this blog want. However, I wouldn’t want Italians or any other Mediterranean group from Europe to replace Nordics as the majority of white America. I’d like the American white population to be something like what it was in the 1950’s. We don’t know how much of behavior (political and otherwise) is genetically based, so It is actually more logical to keep the white population on the Nordic side since this was the original stock that gave us the American way of life. I like the original form of government that the founding Fathers gave us and want to see it continue. More Espositos and DelVecchios would make “Maryk” happy, but logically more Smiths and Joneses would be the best choice. I suppose many here will be surprised to hear me admit this!

      • “However, I wouldn’t want Italians or any other Mediterranean group from Europe to replace Nordics as the majority of white America. I’d like the American white population to be something like what it was in the 1950’s”

In today’s world where the inequality gap has been closing among the higher functioning races with globalization and technology, Nordics or Northern Europeans are almost irrelevant. Their gifts to the world have now become a curse upon them.

In NYC, especially Manhattan, it appears that White people (most of them whom are of the Northern European variety) are just consumers (a type of parasite that only feeds). They no longer sell or provide any goods or services that are crucial to any society. Just bars in every street block, drinking holes that sort of thing, and not even good eateries (good food isn’t a forte among Northern Europeans anyway). The best food coming from White people are those from Italians, Greeks, and Southern Europeans in general?

Greeks dominate the supermarket business as they do with diners and Italians with their gourmet specialties.

So why not get more Mediterranean folks who are more colorful, culturally and culinary induced?

      • “French Canadians stopped coming in droves around the 1970s when the factory jobs in New England dried up and the cushy welfare system in Quebec made it easier to stay home”

Cushy welfare, strict language laws, and the unwavering hiring preference of the White French Canadian majority, which mirrors the practices of Continental Europe, before globalism got a hold of them, is what keeps Québec the most homogenous entity in all of North America.

The Anglophones have no right to complain about their domains being swallowed up by multiculturalism, when the entire English speaking sphere thrives on global commerce, and global commerce only — its dynamism and immense wealth comes from the British Empire and its success from exploiting a large swathe of people across the board throughout the world. It really has no regard to national unity, ethnic and racial boundaries. Its bottom line was literally to make money and its essence of this process was to divide and conquer its subjects, and this would keep them in line and compete with one another, so they can effectively funnel wealth to their masters. The Anglosphere is the consummate purveyor of capitalism and globalism — 2 contemporary terms used nicely to prove that “the sun never sets in the British Empire”.

White Americans, particularly the “working classes” are the most reactionary of all European-based people, simply because the Anglosphere has refused to bow to European Socialist ideals and continue to embrace capitalism that has no regards to anything, but the bottom line, which is money. The sad thing is that White Americans, especially those from the lower classes, have been programmed to believe that socialism is a bad word, and capitalism is all good.

    • You could always call someone a racist.

Trump wins because he’s forcing them to call him a racist 3 years ahead of the next election. By the time we hit 2020 the word and accusation will be completely F’d out.

  22. So this is Trump’s strategy:

    1) Have a very public round-table discussion on immigration.

    2) Have everyone put their cards out in public.

    3) Slowly introduce in process the concerns over immigration.

    4) Run the news cycle with your opinion on everything.

This is far different from a typical “intellectual” discussion you would see on some news show. Intellectualism does not convince, but this will be far more effective.

  23. Well, good luck getting the Québécois to migrate over to our sh!thole, let alone getting Norwegians to immigrate to America.

    JS

January 11, 2018 at EDT pm

    • The Québécois are extraordinary parole people. According to marketing and demographic profiles for Canada, Quebec has by far the largest proportion of uneducated hicks in all of Canada. Most Québécois if they travel internationally at all, prefer places like Hollywood, Florida. The only hip city in Quebec is Montreal, and then only because it has many Anglos, Jews and immigrants.

      • With the exception of the weather, American cities are by far less desirable, orderly, stunning and interesting. Québec city is the most beautiful in all of North America, and it reminds you of a place in Old World France. Trois-Rivières isn’t bad either, despite being a small city.

Would you rather live in cities in Anglophone, Atlantic Canada like St. Johns and Halifax? Those folks up there are just as prole as the rural French Canadians, if not more.

        JS

January 11, 2018 at EDT pm

      • Yes, JS, i would rather live in an Anglophone city or town. For one thing the people are a lot friendlier and nicer. Why are Francophone so rude?

        Rosenmop

January 11, 2018 at EDT pm

      • They are not rude. They just have this resentment that everyone else speaks English.

Apparently, the Aborigines found the French Canadians more affable than the Cakers (Anglo Canadians).

        JS

January 11, 2018 at EDT pm

      • The term “caker” which refers to Canadians of Anglo Saxon descent has its mysterious roots in guidoism.

Canadian guidos felt that their Anglo Prole neighbors in Canuckistan were bland and lacking in good food, and that cake was their only food worthy of consumption.

Another take was that these Anglos eat bland generic “Wonder” white bread that tasted like cake.

        http://montrealgazette.com/news/local-news/watchwords-origin-of-italo-canadian-term-mangia-cake-is-in-dispute

It turns out that the word is derived from Italian “mangia cake” – to eat cake.

      • “Canadian guidos felt that their Anglo Prole neighbors in Canuckistan were bland and lacking in good food…”

There are even guidos in Canada? Damn guidos. You just can’t get away from them, can you? JS, did you think that maybe God is trying to tell you something? (like maybe “Be nice to guidos because they’ll be everywhere you go – even LOTB”) . You probably don’t remember but there was a Canadian Italian family in the 1970’s called the DeFranco Family. They were a singing group. They had a song called “Heartbeat, it’s a lovebeat.” Those born in the early 1960s or before can tell you about them – Tony (the youngest, and a Donny Osmond type),Maria, Benny, Nino, and at least one more.

I also am suspicious that there is White behavioral instinct to breed less around non-Whites.

  24. If anyone ever doubted that Trump was serious about immigration, let those doubts be assuaged. That right there. That’s why I voted for him. When he came down the escalator and said “They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people” I said “That’s my boy!” I was on the Trump train from that very moment. And I’ve never wavered. I feel so vindicated. Anyone who doesn’t like Trump can suck deez. haha

You should start selling t-shirts and bumper stickers that say “No more immigration from s***hole countries”. I’d buy one. How can someone argue with it? Are they seriously going to deny that Haiti and El Salvador are shithole countries? Or are they going to argue that we actually need immigrants from shithole countries? Yeah, because there aren’t enough people in gangs and welfare already. I’m always telling people that we need to start stripping criminal immigrants of citizenship and deporting them. And they say, “But we can’t do that. We just can’t!” And then I say, “Sí, se puede!”

    • You can say the same about China. Just look at the spectacular rise of Chinese nationals calling America their new home. The wealthy Chinese would rather live in the Midwest than Beijing, because it’s a sooty hellhole.

      JS

January 11, 2018 at EDT pm

      • The Chinese are actually the largest immigration risk.

Not only do they have an uncanny will and ability to move to all truly nice white areas up to middle-upper class range across the nation, and in significant numbers, but they are perhaps the only immigrant group that I know of who would be willing and able to inhabit large portions of the better rural land. Like the Germans, they are also innate farmers. That’s actually a risk. The last thing that we want is the Chinese being influential in the heart of the American farm industry. Or the advanced manufacturing industry, for that matter.

  28. Trump is entering a deserved “f**k you very much” phase now that his victory over the Obama Admin., the DOJ/FBI et al and the Clinton Machine is coming to an explosive conclusion. Remember the EO from Dec 21st? It will become a LOT clearer in the days to come.

Hence his blunt language and aggressive, MEANINGFUL tweets.

If you had been f**ked over for nearly 2 years by those two and could finally now see your way to completing their utter devastation it must by necessity be extraordinarily exhilarating, even liberating.

They may be begging him to build the wall by the end of next week.

  29. I’m not a politician and I’m not smart, but I think that while what Trump said is true, I want to see the real action. Will this rhetoric help to that end? Unless there is a fundamental change to this country’s immigration policy and the wall is build, this is all blah-blah-blah.

For US Norwegians are good, because it’s a country of immigrants and there is no such thing as an American race. But for Israel only Jews are good, nobody else. A 100% Jewish handball team destroys Georgia, wins against Estonia and gets destroyed by Portugal and it is fine because this is the true level of Israeli handball skills. But one Norwegian (they are strong players) on the Israeli team and I don’t care about it anymore. I appreciate a Norwegian team by itself but they shouldn’t play for Israel. For me to care about a third rate Israeli national team it has to be 100% Jewish. If they sign up non-Jews, I’m gonna root for Iceland, which has a totally amazing team for a country of it’s size.

  30. OT: Lion just had a post last week telling us not to eat Romaine lettuce because of possible e-coli contamination. I had seen it a few days later but forgot about it. Today I went to a local diner and had a Caesar’s salad with chicken at a place in Brooklyn run mainly by Mexicans (a place near Bath Beach.) The place is wonderful – very clean, great food, wonderful service. But I’m worried now. It’s been over 3 hours. I feel fine, though. Should I be concerned?
