Good news: John Kelly is anti-immigration

Trump-hating NY Times op-ed columnist Charles M. Blow explains why he HATES Chief of Staff John Kelly, and the reason he hates him is why we should like him.

It looks like, despite Trump’s recent tweets, Kelly has been the guy who prevented the Trump administration from going soft on immigration after Bannon left, not Stephen Miller (at least not by himself). And Kelly prevented Trump from making a horrible deal with Democrats.

  1. Before FDR, blacks were traditionally anti-immigrant. From 1933-1965, immigration to the US was a non-issue. I think most blacks are secretly hostile to immigration, but it’s the price of the ticket to be a Democrat.

    • If you ever talk to blacks, there is nothing “secret” about their hostility to immigration. The only real “pro immigrant” blacks are the politicians, and aside from weirdo non-representative blacks like Obama and Cory Booker, the only reason they pretend to be “pro immigrant” is because the people that run the Democratic Party force them to be.

Blacks want the same thing as all other immigrants from shithole countries: gimmedats. That’s why all Shithole-Americans, whether they came here in chains or swam the Rio Grande last week, are loyal White Genocide Party voters.

  2. I agree. I figured that out a couple of days ago when I was reading an article about him and Duke. The gist was basically that Kelly was pressuring her not to renew DACA for the Salvadorans. And she did it anyway. As you can see, Duke got her little ass demoted. Then I read another article from some rag talking about how pushy and unpopular Nielsen was at DHS. Which tells me everything I needed to know. Kelly and Nielsen support Trumpism.

      • Lion – One of the downsides with Trump’s complete lack of public experience is that he’s had to do some serious on the job training. Granted, the same was largely true of Obama, but it’s still been a problem for Trump.

It’s debatable just how applicable Trump’s business experience carries over into the presidency. Trump supporters will generally say it carries over immensely, his detractors say not at all, and the truth is somewhere in between.

B.T.D.T – Kelly really has done an excellent job in instituting Trump’s ideas, or at least the ones he ran on.

Undiscovered Jew – Bannon really is an idiot, but it’s amazing how it all came crashing down on him all at once. When he left the White House, it looked like there was an understanding between him and Trump that he wasn’t being booted so much as set loose.

Of course, Bannon ran with Loser Roy Moore and cost the GOP an easy Senate seat, then he went off badmouthing Don Jr. He went from having an uneasy respect in the right to becoming a pariah almost overnight.

Yakov – I still think we can win if we adhere to legal, civic, and democratic means. Namely, the bulk of our problem with immigration is that our government didn’t enforce the law for 30+ years.

Nevertheless, I agree that if democratic means fail, we will see authoritarian movements within the US.

‘Namely, the bulk of our problem with immigration is that our government didn’t enforce the law for 30+ years.’

No, the bulk of the problem is the legal immigration that changes the demographics of this country. This has been concealed from the people, who are naive, don’t care about politics and just want to enjoy their lives. What this means is that since 1965 all governments of this country have been destroying its very foundation – which is its population. Trump is an anomaly in this parade of criminal saboteurs. I love him, but it remains to be seen how far he can go without tanks in the streets.

Didn’t Trump made $300 million in 2015? Nearly all of his business ventures are successful. He gets 7-figure annual payments from all the Trump Towers he doesn’t own, but licenses his name to, providing they meet his standards in having enough marble and brass installed. He owned half of The Apprentice, which was a ratings hit for a decade, etc.

The meme that Trump was unsuccessful was one of the dumbest aspects of the campaign. He lived in a triplex in a skyscraper with his name on it at the corner of 57th Street and 5th Avenue in Manhattan, ffs.

  11. When they were trying to pass the 65 Immigration Act, Ted Kennedy assured people that it would not change the demographics of the country. So the liberals back then could even give reassurance on this issue, but today you would be called a racist, bigot and xenophobe bu even conservatives if you said you wanted this country to be a vast majority white country.

Who knows what they thought or wanted privately, but this could be a valid point that the politicians had to answer. Today you can’t even ask it.

Blacks would probably have been better off if we had remained a 90% white and 10% black country, but they had whites more than they like blacks.

There is zero resemblance between the typical liberal politician of 1965 and mainstream Democrats of today (and many Cucks too). If the Ted Kennedy of 1965 could have peered into the future and seen what, not just his party, but himself, would become by the oughts he would have left politics and entered a monastery or a madhouse. This liberal drift happened ever so slowly, incrementally but relentlessly, the left never pausing for a moment’s reflection or taking a step back to reconsider. And so we have the world we have today.
