Yes, Emma Gonzalez bullied Nikolas Cruz

I watched this 20-second YouTube clip and I clearly get the impression that Emma Gonzalez (the lesbian shaved-head girl) was a knowing participant in bullying Nikolas Cruz and feels justified in doing so because of what he eventually did.

Consistent with interviews with other students who said he was a victim of significant bullying.

However, a bunch of liberal-biased “fact-checking” sites are trying to debunk the story. Watch the clip for yourself and decide.

Not to say that Cruz wasn’t a problem kid who behaved poorly, but there’s also a problem with a school system that lets kids like Cruz be victimized by a Lord of the Flies type of social structure.

When school systems let that happen, it seem inevitable that from time-to-time, a bullied kid is going to take deadly revenge against his perceived tormentors.

Cats and dogs on Instagram

Cat and dog pictures are very common, but I think that there are at least twice as many cat pictures as dog pictures.

Is it because more people have cats as pets than dogs? Or because, although dogs may be more loyal animal companions, cats look a lot cuter?

Mass shooter Nikolas Cruz receives massive fan mail from teenage girls

http://www.sun-sentinel.com/local/broward/parkland/florida-school-shooting/fl-reg-nikolas-cruz-prison-love-letters-20180327-story.html

For example:

A teenager wrote on March 15: “I’m 18-years-old. I’m a senior in high school. When I saw your picture on the television, something attracted me to you.”

The letter was mailed from Texas and tucked inside an envelope covered with hand-drawn hearts and happy faces. “Your eyes are beautiful and the freckles on your face make you so handsome.” She goes on to describe herself as white with big, brown eyes. “I’m really skinny and have 34C sized breasts.” She ends the letter with three preschool-rated jokes about gummy bears and peanut butter.

There’s some kind of red-pill lesson here.

maryk writes in a comment:

Normal women of any age don’t write letters to men in jail. The U.S. is a big country and if a few thousand unstable and weird young women find this sociopath sexy that says nothing about women as a whole.

On Instagram, books are judged only by their cover

The new marketing paradigm: if it doesn’t look good on Instagram, it doesn’t sell.

Comment exchange about gun control

fortalez84 writes:

Yeah, at the ballot box gun control is a losing issue for liberals. It’s very seductive to them, but the people who are pro-gun tend to be very very pro-gun

Tarl responds:

I dunno, man, I would have said gay marriage and tranny rights were a loser for them, but they kept pushing that crazy shit and eventually got what they wanted.

I say that the liberals control the MSM, so if they make gun control their #1 priority like they made the gay stuff, they will get what they want in 10 to 20 years, no matter how extreme it may seem today. And gun control seems a lot less extreme to me today than gays marrying each other seemed in the 1980s.

Do you want fries with that?

Great comment from fortaleza84:

From what I understand, fast food restaurants retain human cashiers mainly because people buy more food when there is a live cashier to say “Do you want fries with that?”

This is an example of how our economy is entirely marketing driven and no one is doing any value creating work. It’s just people selling stuff to each other. The fast food cashier is actually doing a negative-sum job because he/she is encouraging people to gorge on fattening fries when they probably already weigh too much in the first place.

About trade

Trade is a topic in the news again.

I am going to repeat what I’ve written before. The real problem is not that China is stealing jobs from Americans, but rather that our modern technologically advanced economy produces massive amounts of stuff, but we don’t have a system to allow people to partake of this bounty unless they can find some sort of job in the free market economy.

And it’s only going to get worse, when self-driving cars replace human driver, when fast-food restaurants have only 10% of the workers they have now because robots are cooking the food and people pay at kiosks.

If we had a better way to distribute goods to people while at the same time providing them meaningful things to do with their time, then instead of being mad at China for stealing jobs, we’d look at them as a bunch of suckers for working at crappy jobs for low wages while Americans are enjoying job-free self-actualization.

“Allāhu akbar” forbidden at New York Times

As we see in this article, when someone says “Allāhu akbar,” the New York Times will now report that he said “‘God is great’ in Arabic.”

Which is not the correct translation. “Allah is the greatest” is the better translation of the phrase, indicating the belief that Islam is greater than all other religions. “Allah” should never be translated into anything, because it’s a proper noun unique to Islam. You will never see the NY Times translate Islam to mean “submission to Allah.”
