Space Force

While I wouldn’t normally highlight a tweet mocking Trump, I can’t help it, this is funny.

I assume that this is part of a 4D-chess type of plan to divert media attention away from something else.

  1. This needs no explanation. The Space Force is a big PR victory for Trump. Trump has proven himself a master of politics.

  2. Carl Linneaus, the Swedish naturalist from the 18th century European Enlightenment, whose theories include racial phenotypes and behavior (a form of HBD — citing Eastern Asiatics as being sly, stingy and conceited and Europeans being the most rational) made a remark that Mother Nature hates reptilians, because they are repulsive with their scaly skin and their disagreeable, slitty pupils.

  3. I guess this is the part when the UFOs come out and we aren’t supposed to question how many trillions were spent on them while people in this country were intentionally impoverished to build and douchebags like Trump walk away holding all the patents and copyrights associated with the UFO tech.

  4. The picture is mislabeled. According to David Icke, the person on the right is the Queen of England.

    • Mock David Icke all you want but he has never been sued in England for calling various people pedophiles.

      • Oh, I would never mock David Icke. There is no doubt in my mind that Hillary Clinton is a shape-shifting reptilian.

  6. Trump says Space Force will be “separate but equal” to the Air Force.

Second-best troll this week after Austrian PM Sebastian Kurz saying that Austria, Italy and Germany should create an “axis of the willing” to control immigration.

    • Half the US Air Force is on the ground – permanently. The “commitment to diversity”. I haven’t seen NASA launch anything but the spaceplane that is supposedly a secret weapon. We’ve been hitch-hiking to the space station with the Russians since Obama got in there.
The problem with Trump is he’s all talk. He hasn’t even done anything about the dysfunctional military of make-work jobs Obama put into overdrive. This “Sophisticated International Playboy” has got to stop tweeting and do some MANAGING.

  7. How exactly is this “mocking Trump”? Its just a joke.

June 18, 2018 at EST pm

    • It’s a joke at the expense of the seriousness of the Space Force, now a proud branch of the military, separate from, but equal to, the Air Force.

  13. This Space Force is legit. The house passed a bill to do this last year that stalled in the senate. The air force was fighting against it because they didn’t want to give up control of it. Now that Trump has spoken out the air force is expected to fall in line and the senate to pass it.

    https://www.npr.org/2018/06/18/621127192/when-it-comes-to-a-new-space-force-only-congress-has-the-power-to-create-it

Rather, a Space Force would consolidate command of the military’s existing satellite systems into a single command. Those include reconnaissance satellites, GPS, missile-warning systems and communications platforms.

The U.S. military and intelligence agencies are increasingly concerned about the vulnerability of space-based systems. Both China and Russia have conducted tests of anti-satellite weapons that could potentially knock military satellites from orbit. Harrison adds that ground-based lasers can blind reconnaissance satellites, and spoofing signals can confuse GPS.

    • The funny thing is liberals freaking out about the “space force” when we have had a space force for decades. It was simply not a separate branch of the armed services. The reality is Trump’s order is fairly prosaic and will probably just result in even more bureaucracy, if it is even ever implemented. It is not as bad as the libs think or as good as the Trumpists think.

      • That’s one aspect of politics — issues which seem small and inconsequential can be very polarizing. Because very often, beliefs and values are more a way of showing group membership and group loyalty than anything else.

The real question here is not whether the American armed forces should have 4 branches or 5; it’s whether the Red Tribe should enjoy respect and power.

  14. Why would the Creature from the Black Lagoon be a good candidate for general of the Space Force? He lives in a lagoon. He know less about outer space than humans do. I don’t want to live on the same planet with these ppl anymore grrrrr

    • Yes, that would be the logical next step. And I have a perfect feminist candidate for the top command: Emma Gonzalez (a.k.a. The Parkland Shrieker).

Gonzalez bears a striking resemblance to Vasquez from Aliens (1986):

For his part, David Hogg looks very much like a space alien himself:
