Why conservatives should never cuck to liberals

with 27 comments

Did Trump get a single person on the other side to say “Trump isn’t so bad after all” as a result of cucking to the demands about child separation? No, not at all. Instead, as reported by Fox News, Trump immigration order met with shrugs and new demands from Dems: ‘This isn’t over’

Every act of caving in only results in more demands because it emboldens the enemy.

Furthermore, child separation was the right thing to do. There are over two million people in prison, lots of them have children, they are separated from their children. It’s not safe for children to be housed with criminals. If people from foreign countries don’t want to deal with being arrested and held in prison, they shouldn’t break our immigration laws.

  1. You underestimate how badly the the separation vids were playing. Even though it was shameless propaganda, it was working. I think he had to intervene to pour a little water on the fire.

    • Bullshit. Only liberals cared about the videos. Trump cucked. But this is just a relatively minor, tactical error. It will be forgotten if he comes back full-force, speaks to the American people and hits hard against immigration.

When the “gang of eight” proposal from that uber-cuck Ryan gets placed on his desk I suggest Trump call a press conference in the Oval office and rip it up on camera and take the matter directly to the American people on why he is vetoing this treasonous bill.

  2. 1. Trump didn’t cuck. He issued a blatantly illegal EO that implemented the policy that he wanted to go with in the first place.

    2. The previous policy was hurting Trump and Republicans. Had it continued much longer, Trump would have faced an internal revolt from the GOP.

    3. Trump’s EO buys us some badly needed breathing room. Most American’s are idiots and think that Trump was just willingly separating children from their parents; Americans don’t realize that the law leaves Trump only the choice of “catch and release” or separation. If the court rules against Trump then Trump will be able to say it was the courts, not him, which were doing the separating. He also has the option of just blatantly ignoring the courts.

while I don’t think any of this was planned, it has worked out perfectly for us. Trump could never have started with the current EO because of it’s obvious violation of Flores, so he did what the law required and there was a huge outcry, including from many Republicans. Now he is setting up the courts and the Democrats to take the fall when the courts start ordering family separation again. Accidental genius.

    • Agreed. Trump had to do what he did. He didn’t really cuck. He shifted the debate.

Lion is also correct that cucking does pay. Trump will get no credit for appeasing liberals.

      • I also agree on both points. Trump did what he had to do and cucking doesn’t pay.

      • Trump made his enemies come out and say in no uncertain terms that they want open borders. We always knew this, but normies still think the democrats just want what’s best for America. No more.

  3. The “children” were only a talking point. The real target is the zero tolerance policy. That’s why they moved directly to “where are the girls?” and “the children are permanently separated.”

The Trump administration is a primer on never apologizing.

    • The Dems may be moving on but it clearly isn’t working. The child separation was playing horribly but now people are back to not caring.

    • There is no zero tolerance policy. IT is just a show for the rubes. The government can’t hold these people. There is no more capacity than what Obama had. These immigrants are being quietly reunited with their families and let go (never to show up for their court ddates. He’s just needlessly antagonizing and galvanizing his opponents in order to put on a show for his idiot supporters. It’s like the Muslim ban all over again.

      • If that’s the case, then why are Democrats complaining? If the end result is just letting them back in, then why call attention to it in the first place?

I suppose you think Donald Trump and Robert Mueller all work for the same people.

      • Link that are being quietly reunited with their families and let go?

      • 1. The Muslim ban has already prevented thousands of people from coming to the US
        2. The immigrants are not being let go. That is a brazen lie, even for you. Nor is the reunion with families particularly quiet, it is happening openly and as quickly as possible to get us out from other this issue.
        3. Antagonizing the Left is always good politics because they inevitably overreach, as they have again this time.

These immigrants are going into family camps, like we always wanted, and eventually the parents will be prosecuted and the kids will be sent to foster care and then deported when they turn 18.

      • https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/us-will-stop-prosecuting-parents-who-cross-the-border-illegally-with-children-official-says/2018/06/21/4902b194-7564-11e8-805c-4b67019fcfe4

Homeland Security officials acknowledge that their ability to detain families is extremely limited — by law and by a lack of bed space. The agency’s three “family residential centers” have a combined capacity of about 3,000 adults and children, but they’re nearly full. So are ICE’s adult detention centers. That leaves the agency in the same bind faced by the Obama administration, at least until it can open new facilities that would meet family detention standards.

There is not the capacity to hold and do court proceedings for everyone caught. They’ve done nothing to build this capacity before implementing this policy. Trump asked the military to house 20,000 people, but they won’t for at least a month, probably much longer. The military will be inhibited by a degree of cuckness and incompetence that is simply outstanding. Currently there is no more capacity under Trump and Sessions than under Obama.

map: Democrats are complaining because their strategy is to freak out about everything Trump does. If Democrats freaking out meant anything was getting done Trump wouldn’t be such a giant failure. He’s accomplished virtually nothing worthwhile and they’ve freaked out constantly.

Otis: And I don’t want these kids to go into Foster care. I don’t want them to ever move about freely in the US. They should be held and videotapes of them crying themselves to sleep should be shown to get them to renounce any amnesty claims and make 30 days of being held enough of a punishment.

You both are emotionally driven and think that pissing off liberals is all that matters.

  4. Plus, if trafficked children are turned into a “get out of jail free” card, it will turn children into a commodity. Smugglers will start selling children to illegal aliens the same way they sell fake IDs, truck rides, water and food.

  6. Cuckery/caving is the very soul of conservatism. It’s all defense, clinging onto the past, trying to rewind society, and pretty much always fails in the long run. Politics since the Renaissance has been the story of conservatism losing, sometimes by a lot, usually little by little.

If the right wants to win the future, it needs to abandon conservatism for nationalism, and put forth a competing vision of progress to counter the left’s shitty ideas.

    • Yes. Along with this the right has to stop being anti-government. It needs to take over the government to institute right wing policies. Limited government is unrealistic at this point, no matter what libertarians say.

  7. You know, it’s really some CHUTZPAH to be dirt poor, have 10 kids, and send those kids alone across the border and expect, nay, DEMAND that the stupid rich gringos pay for, raise, educate your spawn at the expense of their own. AND then demand citizenship for yourself and all your relatives, tribe, and village. AND call the gringos racists even if they cuck to all that!

    Fuck them all.

    • It also takes some chutzpah for liberals to support every possible policy and lifestyle that harms the family, from gay marriage/adoption to financial and moral support of single motherhood, and working mothers, yet then start wailing and gnashing their teeth over the separation of these cherubic mestizo immiwinks from their illegal immigrant parents. Oh, the sacred bonds of parenthood severed! The pain!

Seems like every female American newreader this week has been crying all the way back to the daycare centre.

I don’t know how these people can live themselves knowing that they are so full of shit.

  9. ResetEra chimping out over Trump bringing up American’s who have lost family members to immigrants.

Like I said, the separation chimpout was a huge own goal by the resistance. Now that we have taken off the heat with Trump’s EO, we are able to counter attack.

  10. I think Trump may have successfully 4d chessed this one for once. By appearing to cave, he goads the Democrats to think he’s retreating and overplay their hand more. Immigration becomes a bigger and bigger issue in the upcoming midterms.

    Greg Pandatshang

June 22, 2018 at EDT pm

    • Indeed. Immigration is absolutely a winning issue. It’s the issue he won with last election. And he’s just turned it into the most important issue of the mid terms. Prior to this, the mid terms were going to be about #metoo. Not anymore. LOL

      • The midterms will ultimately be about more of the coming FBI memos. The first Horowitz memo is just appetizer. Dems will be wishing the midterms were about the children.
