Only Trump

This post is repetition, but it needs to be repeated.

I wish that we could have had a president with the demeanor of Mitt Romney, but who, like Trump, put America first and wasn’t a cuck to the America-hating fakestream media.

But Mitt Romney wasn’t running in 2016. Jeb Bush was running, and Jeb Bush would have been a total cuck to the fakestream media and the deep-state establishment. And Jeb Bush would never have become president because he never would have won over the votes of prole whites in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin.

Trump tried to improve relations with Russia, for the benefit of world peace, in the face of the fakestream media going all-out to sabotage his foreign policy. He did what every other American president has done, meet with his Russian counterpart, but where Obama got praise and a Nobel Peace Prize, Trump gets only hatred from the fakestream media.

If there is a Trump doctrine, it is that we have to accept foreign countries the way they are, and not turn them into copies of Western democracies. Russia has never had a democratic government like the United States, but the Trump doctrine is that we can still be friends instead of trying to sabotage their government for not being exactly like America or Germany. And realistically, the Chinese are much worse than Russia when it comes to freedom, and a much bigger threat to the world with a much larger population and a much larger economy.

Sure, an America-first Mitt Romney (who doesn’t exist) would have done a much better press conference.

  1. Lion! This post was your finest hour. Everything is quotable but these most of all:

“If there is a Trump doctrine, it is that we have to accept foreign countries the way they are, and not turn them into copies of Western democracies.”

    A-men.

“Russia has never had a democratic government like the United States, but the Trump doctrine is that we can still be friends instead of trying to sabotage their government for not being exactly like America or Germany. ”

Add to that, Turkey is now a full-on Islamo-fascist-Nazi dictatorship, they kill journalists, they do everything Russia does, and worse, and they hate Israel. But they are a NATO ally, because of some crazy legacy alliance building, which made sense at the time, but now it’s insane. Sometimes I think the US is like the jilted Miss Havisham still wearing her wedding dress.

    • Trump is definitely more fun, but hypothetical Romney-style Trump would be more popular and effective. At this juncture, that’s more important than “fun.” Only problem is Romney-style Trump doesn’t exist, so Trump’s our next best option.

This is possibly true. There was something about Romney that was definitely off-putting to proles, but I blame the fakestream media for that.

I distinctly remember some left wing rag criticizing Romney’s demeanor as being too “imperial” for Republican voters. The real issue is that the stooge nominees the Republican establishment trots out every election year lack any sort of defining personality, and democracy is a personality contest, and that goes for both parties. Just look at the lineup in the last election. Everyone except for Trump was singularly unlikeable.

The left criticises Trump as being a clown. He’s more of a jokester / prankster, but regardless, a clown is exactly what democracy deserves because democracy is a clown system of governance.

This would almost certainly not be true if he had rejected the religion of his birth. Some religious girls are crazy, but almost all the best women are religious and want you to be religious.

Does Romney believe that book in his heart of hearts? Who knows. If he has doubts, he was smart enough to set them aside in order to enjoy a better life.

An “alliance” that includes Turkey, which is really more of our enemy than Russia is, and where none of the members want to spend much money on actual military defense, that’s an alliance that needs the kind of tough love that Trump is good at.

      • The main thing we need to do is quietly remove all our nuclear weapons from Turkey. They were put there to deter the Soviet Union. The Soviet Union no longer exists, and the weapons have very little chance of influencing the behavior of any former Soviet states.

The weapons do however have a real chance of being ‘nationalized’ by an Islamist government, and then being used against the United States or U.S. allies. Modern nuclear weapons use a sphere of radioactive material surrounded by an explosive lens made up of shaped charges which must be simultaneously detonated. The method for detonating those charges is to run a large amount of electric current through all of them at once – exactly the same method used to detonate roadside bombs in Iraq.

So if you mechanically remove all the safeguards from a warhead, you could use the triggering device from a typical IED (Improvised Explosive Device) to set off the ‘physics package’ of the warhead. You don’t need super smart scientists to do this. I doubt that the safeguards on the best warhead are so good that a group of a competent engineers and terrorist IED makers couldn’t remove the old trigger, and put a new one in.

        You should write about that.

  8. Bush 43 stupidly said he looked into Putin’s eyes and could see his soul. WTF? But Bush got only minor blowback, because he’s a member of the insiders’ club.

Other politicians and presidents have done much worse than Trump. Ted Kennedy actually sent a letter to Yuri Andropov asking for help to defeat Reagan in 1984, offering to escort Andropov on a PR tour of the USA. I am sure the CIA knew about this at the time, but they didn’t out Kennedy, because he was, well, Ted Kennedy. It took the public disclosure of the Venona files after the breakup of the USSR for this to come out. And even then, it got almost no notice in the media.

FDR’s administration was riddled with communists, but hey, no problem. Obama was caught on a hot mic openly colluding with Medvedev. Again, no problem. But Trump stumbles clumsily through a press conference, and he’s a traitor.

The media and the DC establishment think they’ve got him this time, this will be what finally drives him out of office. We’ll see. My guess is that we’ll begin hearing the left wing commentariat talking about some truly nutty stuff, like banana republic style removal of Trump from office without due process, or who knows what.

  9. Two important things occurring in Washington, DC this year: next year’s budget and the 2018 mid-term elections. The Democrats need Trump to be politically hated to win the election, and the Republican establishment needs the Russian military threat to get the bloated budget they want. The fakestream media and the Muller probe are the tools to accomplish the disparate objectives. Long term immigration is another disparate example where the Republican establishment wants cheap workers and the Democrats wants voters. The future looks dismal.

  13. Russia is vastly hated because they refuse to conduct a foreign policy in line with globalists, along with a domestic policy in line with the modern West. Putin has been in power since 1999, but slowly asserted himself, likely because he was trying to get the domestic situation in Russia in order, given the chaos they were enduring. Remember, he was fighting the war in Chechnya as soon as he came to power so as to restore national pride (started by a possible false flag bombing of apartment blocks in Moscow).

The hatred began in 2008 when Russia invaded Georgia as retaliation for Georgia trying to reclaim provinces that are pro-Russia. Georgia probably thought America would step in and help them. John McCain as always was already advocating war with Russia despite the fact that Georgia was the aggressor. Things ramped up with the Crimean invasion (done as retaliation for our coup in overthrowing a pro-Russian PM in Ukraine) followed by the civil war in Ukraine.

The real reason though why I think Russia is hated is because their men are unapologetic in their masculinity and the women in their femininity. They have also refused to drink the PC Kool-Aid which is infecting the West. Plus, they see gay rights as undermining society so have banned displays of homosexuality. Russia traditionally has seen themselves as apart from the West and the fact that the West is in irreversible decline due to political correctness validates that position in their eyes. Russia is an intensely patriotic nation and will do anything to preserve their sense of national pride.

Authoritarian cultures are the cure and should be supported everywhere as a counterweight. This thing where the alt-right loves white authoritarian countries while denouncing non-white authoritarian countries as evil is incredibly stupid and will lead to ideological defeat on a global scale.
