Ellie hoax revealed

https://clips.twitch.tv/AffluentTalentedCaterpillarPeanutButterJellyTime

A top female Overrwatch player who goes by the name “Aspen” explains that this guy “Punisher” confided in her that he created the Ellie hoax.

Some guy at Wired magazine really vented the outrage this morning at misogynist Overwatch players who harassed a poor female player out of the game.

Will SJWs apologize for being wrong? Unlikely. SJWs never apologize, they just move on to being outraged about something else.

* * *

The hoax also demonstrates how much easier females have it. This guy “Punisher,” who never got invited to join any pro team playing as a guy, in a very short time gets invited to a pro team when they think he’s a girl.

  1. OFF TOPIC BUT LIONY

What class is California’s new governor, Gavin Newsom?

He was raised upper middle class. His father was the principal private attorney to the Getty family and then a state appellate judge. He has relatives of some renown in medicine and the arts.

Newsom grew up amidst the Getty children and their wealthy friends. So he had the strange experience of being surrounded by the Top Out Of Sight while not actually being one of them.

Some of his interests seem high prole. Newsom went into politics and the restaurant business rather than law or finance. He’s Roman Catholic, not Protestant.

His four kids have Palin-level low prole names: Montana, Hunter, Dutch and Brooklynn (with two ns).

Even his choices of wife are confounding. His first wife was the busty guidette prosecutor Kimberly Guilfoyle – a prole wet dream. His current wife is something out of Architectural Digest — a wealthy, classy, gorgeous blonde with impeccable credentials who makes documentaries no one watches.

Weird twist: The classy blonde is the mother of the four kids with prole names.

      • A professor whom I know – knows a lady who is a TOOS. She’s from old money stock and he told me she can easily sniff out someone who isn’t old money by their habits and body language, which is like 99% of the population.

        Ok, what, who's this again?

    • Unfortunately, his wife is completely hairless.

    • Not sure if the entire food industry is prole. If you own an eatery and prepare artisanal food for SWPLs, you obviously know their tastes and habits.

Law and finance are both prole. The professions are pretty much prole, because only strivers embark on them.

Genuine SWPL types go into fields like publishing and academia, which have “nada” value outside of their respective bubbles.

      Ok, what, who's this again?

January 5, 2019 at EDT am

      • This is so dumb. Is there anything you don’t think is prole?

      • LoftB is a cult when it comes to the term “prole”. How do we interpret prole as in God?

        Prole is unpleasant or uncouth.

Why would geniune SWPLs embark on an unpleasant profession in Law or Finance?

Lion talks about self actualization, which is by far a SWPL-oriented thing. Well, many lawyers and finance people don’t self actualize in their careers, because these careers are highly stressful, risky and soul crushing on several fronts (coming from your superiors, clients and the gov’t).

The same cannot be said of a career in writing and academia. The worse that can happen to you is that you lose your job from plagiarizing, but this does not phase your passion for a particular subject, hence the chances of self-actualization is significantly greater.

Meriprolestan takes capitalism and polluted it in every sector of society.

        Ok, what, who's this again?

      • “Why would geniune SWPLs embark on an unpleasant profession in Law or Finance?”

Interesting observation. Since I think SWPL includes many well educated upper middles at the very least, I think law is a perfect job for them. It allows you to self-actualize by engaging in a profession that can be interesting as long as you can grind through the boring parts. Not altogether different from the old Teddy Roosevelt impulse to push himself. Having said that, of the folks I knew as kids who came from big money, most seem to be ‘managing’ their trust funds. Some had side projects they called jobs and some work for a period but quit early. One never bothered to get a job of any kind.

    • Wealthier people always have more freedom to act prole than a status-anxious middle class. It’s why 33% of Titanic’s 1st class male passengers and 16% of men in 3rd class survived by getting into a lifeboat (despite an organized effort to keep the latter out), while 2nd class men were destroyed with a 92% death rate even though they had as much freedom to walk the Boat Deck as 1st class. They’re more obedient to unwritten social rules than their betters or inferiors.

      • Jared Kushner went to law school. Does he need law school coming from a family of wealth?

His choice was misguided. It could be from a lack of insight and intelligence, stemming from too much silver spoon feeding. Besides, he isn’t of old money stock, hence his prole leanings.

Old money types like Anderson Cooper got a virtue signaling career as a CNN reporter. That’s more of a SWPL thing than anything Jared has done.

        Ok, what, who's this again?

January 5, 2019 at EDT pm

      • Having a lawyer – or at the least someone who studied the law – in the family always beats outside counsel.

    • I use Newsome’s father as a kind of touchstone by which to measure the march of liberalism and the big state. In the late ’70’s, the California Psychology Board revoked a guy’s license for sleeping with an ex-patient. Thing is, the Board’s rules only prohibited sleeping with current patients, not former ones. So Justice Newsom wrote, for the majority, that this couldn’t be “unprofessional conduct, because not expessly covered in the rules. In 2005, I attempted to use this seemingly commonsense concept in defending an optometrist, accused of “inefficiency” for omitting certain procedures which were not explicitly required. The female judge refused to listen, and convicted my client for breaching various putative requirements which theoptometry Board had never announced. Now we have the Russia thing, which again, in a gynocentric media world, is about pretend breach of rules that don’t exist.

Newson started his restaurant business with the financial backing of one of the Getty zillionaires. Not what I’d call high prole.

  3. Yeah there’s this feminist fantasy that women are singled out for bullying online, but this myth is as wrong as wrong can be. And it’s easy enough to verify it through the simple expedient of choosing a female-sounding name.

It’s also pretty easy for women to post online using male pen-names. But of course they don’t do it because they know perfectly well that deleting the occasional dick-pic is well worth the dramatically increased attention and deference they receive.

    • Didn’t Julian Assange advise people to get their messages out online by choosing female sounding screen names and including head-shots of attractive blondes?

      Vince

January 5, 2019 at EDT pm

    • It depends on the context. On the ‘mommy boards’ women have no qualms being vicious to one another. Men in general are easier to talk to because they will be upfront about their issue while women tend to be passive aggressive and irrationally indirect. I’m active on three subreddits with what I think is an obviously female sounding name (or a gay sounding male name?). Two have very little gender deference but the third has a lot of female toe kissing. It could also be some men legitimately enjoy female company no matter how stupid so it’s within their right to kowtow. On the donald subreddit (which I’m not active on) any woman who enters is instantly worshipped.

I presume this is a subreddit for Trump supporters? If so, Joan of Arc proved that men love, love, love conservative/nationalist women as long as they aren’t prudes. I don’t necessarily find Coulter attractive but would love to go out with her. My neighbor, an older and conservative fellow, was smitten with Palin.

  5. I finished watching through season three of travellers and disagree with lion’s claim it’s immune to SJW tropes. The whole premise of future catastrophes is largely based on ’21sts’ environmentally unfriendly shenanigans. And Jo is a lesbian for no real plot purpose.

It’s still a good show and fun to watch.

There was a lot of weird casting age-wise. Kat would be mid thirties but the actress looks late 40s. One assumes maclaren is around her age but he looks late 50s. And Trevor the teenager looks 30.

    toomanymice

    • “Trevor the teenager looks 30.”

Just like Luke Perry on 90210, the two now-dead football players on Glee, and anyone in a John Hughes Movie not named Anthony Michael Hall.

Some call it “Dawson casting.” I call it “Stockard Channing Syndrome.”
