Shooter’s alleged social media post

@santino_williamlegan wrote: “Why overcrowd towns and pave more open space to make room for hordes of mestizos and Silicon Valley white twats?”

This clearly shows a familiarity with the alt-right. Not saying that there’s anything necessarily wrong with a prole guy from a prole area being legitimately angry about being crowded out of his hometown by both by rich SWPLs and poor immigrants. But you won’t read about it in the mainstream media, and the word “mestizo,” while a legit word, is rarely used by the MSM but is commonly used by right-leaning internet sites, including this blog.

  1. What about this book mentioned by Heavy? Might Is Right by Ragnar Redbeard

There doesnt seem to be a sane summary.

    • It was written by an amusing political gadfly of the late 19th century. One of the more interesting characters to ever come out of New Zealand. Most of the first half of the book is dedicated to an attack on Christianity and then moves in to Social Darwinism and a general critique of our society in general in the later chapters. Became popular again when occultist and showman Anton LaVey made liberal use of it in the founding sources of his Church of Satan. It is out of copyright so you can read it yourself here:

But if you’ve already read Thomas Paine and Nietzsche I doubt you would get much out of it and I don’t even think Lion should bother reviewing it. The recently released Brozne Age Mindset by BAP is far better written and more interesting with respect to contemporary politics and society.

    • Yeah I had not heard of it, and I think I am reasonably well read, so the fact that a 19yo is point to this obscure thing seemed noteworthy. I see that the new media has lumped in as “white supremist” and gone on their way without any further analysis.

I see its on Kindle for free but the guys life on wikipedia sounds more interesting than the material.

  2. Mestizo is a legit word. Hispanic, though it used to be legit, is now not. It became illegitimate when the Census Bureau added Hispanic to its list of racial descriptors but gave it a slippery out with the most infamous asterisked footnote: “Hispanics may be of any race or ethnicity.” This is the best example of dividing and conquering white people. Spaniards, many of them as white as Americans, Brits, Germans, Poles, etc., are now these dewy-eyed, Dondi-like agencyless victims of racism at the hands of those blond blue-eyed frat boys that everyone hates because they saw how bad they were in movies like the Karate Kid and Back to School and their successors. “They raped a black woman who they hired just to innocently dance at their off-campus party!” “Now they treat the staff badly when they eat at Spanish restaurants and think they can order burritos when the restaurant is SPANISH, not MEXICAN!”

  3. blacks n proles are being push aside to pave way for SWPLs and more real Hispanics (Mestizos, and not Afro-Caribbeans). This demographic shift/ostracism has been happening for a while, before your online presence.

    Ok, what, who's this again?

  4. Not saying that there’s anything necessarily wrong with a prole guy from a prole area being legitimately angry about being crowded out of his hometown by both by rich SWPLs and poor immigrants.

It is understandable that a person is upset about hoards of immigrants crowding them out of their hometown. I’m upset about the same thing. But if the immigrants are non-white it is simply unacceptable to talk about these feelings in polite company. You are LITERALLY HITLER if you are upset because 2 million people from China and India have crowded you and your children and grandchildren out of your hometown.

  5. Serious question I always had: I don’t know why the MSM avoids the term ‘mestizo’
Maybe the MSM just wants to lump mestizos with Spaniards as a way to make Europe browner? I frankly don’t know.

Most people don’t even know what that word means.

    July 29, 2019 at 3:53 PM

    • It’s an old word for a type of race mixing and therefore sounds racist to liberal ears, even if its definition is neutral. Octoroon, quadroon and mulatto are verboten for the same reason.

      July 29, 2019 at 4:19 PM

    • “Mestizo” means mixed race, or hybrid. In Canada we have “Métis” — mixed Europeans and native Indians. They split off and formed their own culture.

      July 29, 2019 at 4:22 PM

      • That’s kind of interesting how the metis culture formed. It didn’t happen in the United States. What happens in the US is that after after a period of being a “half-breed” you just turn white. Like Elizabeth Warren.

        What are the metis like?

        July 30, 2019 at 8:58 AM

    • A more rational census would drop the word Hispanic and use replace it with Mestizo. It’s more descriptive and accurate. Hispanic could simply be anyone with a spanish surname.

      July 30, 2019 at 6:10 AM

      • “Hispanic could simply be anyone with a spanish surname.”

It’s that and more. Charlie Sheen is Hispanic. Tom Hanks is Hispanic.

        Lion of the Blogosphere

        July 30, 2019 at 2:26 PM

      • Tom Hanks’ mother was Portuguese which isn’t technically hispanic. So no AA for him. That must be why his son knocks up black girls and dumps them. He’s hoping some of that AA will rub off. I joke but that’s a shitty thing to do.

        July 30, 2019 at 4:09 PM

      • If Tom Hanks isn’t Hispanic because he’s Portugese instead of Spanish, that means people from Brazil are also not Hispanic.

        Lion of the Blogosphere

        July 30, 2019 at 4:45 PM

      • Is there some kind of one drop rule with respect to being Hispanic? Charlie Sheen is 1/4 Spanish (actual Spaniard Spanish, i.e. Mediterranean European, not mestizo/South American.) How can that make one Hispanic in any meaningful sense? Are you just counting the fact that his actual legal name is Spanish?

        July 30, 2019 at 4:28 PM

      • Does it make a difference that Charlie Sheen’s real name is Carlos Estevez?

  6. And “pave more open space” is an effort to triangulate environmentalism with right-wing politics. Liberal environmentalists don’t even make the connection between immigration and land development.

    July 29, 2019 at 4:12 PM

  7. He’s half Guido, but half Muslim.

He hates mestizos, but hates bro-coders.

The SJWs are probably pissed that you can’t put half a person in prison.

    July 29, 2019 at 4:15 PM

    • MikeyCA is correct to assume that the Garlic Festival isn’t SWPL certifiable. Looking at the footages of the event, the crowd isn’t too different from the guido festivals in NYC, that cloud the air with charred sausages and other grilled meats that only proles and NAMs would find appetizing.

      Ok, what, who's this again?

      July 29, 2019 at 5:43 PM

    • C’mon ‘73, you know he’s not half guido, because west coast Italians are mostly from northern Italy, and because California has no significant organized crime history, the aping of which is what “guido” culture is all about. And he likely isn’t muslim either, since many Iranians (like those in Beverly Hills) aren’t. I’d guess he comes from an Italo-Jewish marriage. The real mystery here is why this kid felt beleaguered. Somebody should have told him before he turned 18 that his Persian background would open AA doors. He might have flown right past most of the mestizos he wanted to get away from.

      July 29, 2019 at 7:58 PM

      • Hey, we had Bugsy Seigal and Meyer Lansky! And the Tongs.

Anyway, it IS sad how that area has changed. But that has been California’s story since forever. A condtant.

God it sucks. I had to get outta there.

        Mrs Stitch

        July 29, 2019 at 10:39 PM

      • Please tell me why you had to get out of California. I’m interested.

        July 30, 2019 at 2:37 PM

      • They all look alike to me.

        July 31, 2019 at 1:22 AM

  8. But what about Antifa? MSM only reports right-wing neo-Nazi terrorism. What about all of the Islamic murders and the Leftists swinging bike locks? Democrats are the real racists.

    July 29, 2019 at 5:26 PM

    • You’re just mad because DHS is going to label you a terrorist. 🙂

      July 29, 2019 at 11:48 PM

  9. Stupid New York Post article says Mestizo is a slur. Anyway, the vast majority coming across the border don’t appear to be Mestizo.

    July 29, 2019 at 5:34 PM

  10. Once again, someone who was legitimately angry but chose the wrong targets out of frustration. It’s a shame because so many others are more deserving.

    July 29, 2019 at 5:55 PM

  11. He was insane, and although I’m not familiar with this particular festival, it looks to me like the majority of the people attending were working class white Californians. Yes, there still are working class white Californians. Megan Rapinoe is one such.

So, he didn’t even kill the people he hates. Not that that would have been right but you know what I mean.

    July 29, 2019 at 6:13 PM

    • I haven’t seen any pics of the wounded. But none of the three deceased were white.

      July 29, 2019 at 10:11 PM

      • Right, I saw that. But I also saw a crowd scenes and most of the people looked white.

        July 29, 2019 at 11:32 PM

    • I was talking about this with an Italian-American friend, and we really had to laugh that a guy named Santino shot up a garlic festival.

He is a Godfather groupie. Has all of the movies on DVD.

      July 29, 2019 at 11:32 PM

  12. Santino, what a weird name. Santino was Sonny Corleone’s given name. Don’t name your kid santino.

Mestizo is a legitimate word, but I’ve not seen it used much in American English. So I wouldn’t necessarily impute a political reason to lack of use of the word.

    July 29, 2019 at 6:34 PM

  13. News reports said that he used an “AK47 type” rifle. That’s quite a stretch. He used an SKS, which like the AK is a Russian-designed semiautomatic that fires 7.62×39 cartridges (the x is pronounced “by”). Those.similarities aside, the big difference is that the AK’s famous banana-shaped magazine holds 30 rounds and is detachable, so a shooter carrying multiple magazines can reload almost instantly. The SKS, which looks much more like a conventional hunting rifle, has a 10-round internal magazine, and while reloading is fast, it’s not anywhere near as quick as AK reloading.
Until about 10 years ago there was a huge supply of surplus SKS’s available for as little as $100. They were a cheap way to get started in deer hunting. Today they are getting more scarce and it’s hard to find one under about $400. That’s still pretty cheap for a centerfire rifle, and 7.62×39 ammo remains a bargain.

Note: my wish-list rifle runs $2,500, so it probably will remain just a wish 😦

    July 29, 2019 at 9:53 PM

  14. It’s sad that this shooting at the festival becomes another guido bashing event on LoftB.

The shooter was part Italian American, and if he not’s part guido, because most Italian Americans who live in California are from the North, then read on.

It turns out that the guidette, Teresa Giudice (who’s Southern Italian), one of the real housewives of NJ, was participating at the Garlic Breath Festival to promote her cookbook. The Garlic Festival runs more than a day, and she was lucky to be there on Saturday instead of Sunday, where the shooting took place.

    Ok, what, who's this again?

    July 29, 2019 at 11:16 PM

  15. It is in MSM’s interest that people not use the word “mestizo”. Mestizo is a more specific term for what most Americans would call Hispanic.

But if people keep saying Hispanic when they mean mestizo, then MSM and its supporters get to say “aha, but Hispanic isn’t really about race. Jerry Garcia was Hispanic, and so is Sammy Sosa. Is race even really a thing? Do words even really mean what you think they mean? It’s probably better if you just shut up and stop talking and thinking about this stuff altogether and leave all that to us.”

Just to be clear, I’m not saying that people need to stop saying Hispanic and say mestizo instead in situations where either would be accurate. But if you’re trying to talk clearly about non-white immigration – even if you’re a normie conservative or centrist and you aren’t going to say anything controversial about it – lacking the word mestizo makes that impossible. Trying to use Hispanic as if it meant non-white gives liberals/SJWs an opportunity to sidetrack the conversation to make it about how you don’t know how to use words properly.

  16. Meanwhile we’ve got a creepy murder in remote territory in Canada. Two victims, an Australian man and a woman from North Carolina were found dead on the Alaska Highway, Another man was found dead on another highway in northern BC.

Two young men left their hometown in BC saying they were going to look for work in Alberta. The two men were spotted in Saskatchewan and are now believed to have taken a very remote road in Manitoba, heading to the southern shore of Hudson Bay.

They could not possibly survive any length of time. The area is notable only for polar bears, that are very dangerous.

The father of one of the boys says he thinks his son is suicidal. Like Columbine but in the wilderness.

    • It seems almost non-significant for what these guys did in comparison to the countless riff-raff down under. They also bear very strange names for White boys living under the Anglosphere. The older guy is called Kam Macleod and the suicidal one is called Bryer bababasky, whatever. I believe Canadian sociopaths get a joyride in killing and maiming people, while American types like to go the full postal.

      Ok, what, who's this again?

      July 30, 2019 at 2:43 PM

      • I thought the names were odd but I thought I might be out of touch on baby names.

I don’t know much about Australia except one case I read about that became famous. A psycho managed to get a young couple to pull over. He killed the man but the woman got away. It still took a while to find the killer.

He had no motive at all, rather like these Canadian guys.

        Frau Katze

        July 30, 2019 at 9:33 PM

      • I should add that the Australian case was in Alice Springs, a small town in the middle of Australia. A bleak remote area.

The small town near where the Canadian guys are supposed to be are feeling rather nervous. If the guys run into the bush and die there, who will know?
