Bloomberg for Democratic nominee for 2020

with 26 comments

If by some miracle Bloomberg won, he would be a month shy of 79 when taking office, that’s a year older than Reagan was when Reagan left office. And people think that Reagan started going senile while he was President.

If Democratic voters want an old white man who’s not a crazy liberal, they already have Biden. What does Bloomberg add to this? Although, if I personally had to choose one over the other, I’d choose Bloomberg, because Bloomberg would issue executive orders to prevent the proles from consuming fattening foods.

But seriously, the big thing going for Biden is that the blacks and the prole whites both like him, and I don’t see either of those two groups being fans of Bloomberg.

Why doesn’t Bloomberg just retire and spend time with his two grandkids?

  1. Yeah, that’s the ticket. Another New York Billionaire for president. That’s just what the country needs … Not.

    • Isn’t it funny how the Trump administration has seen economic prosperity and peace overseas? Perhaps rule by billionaires is exactly what the country needs.

  2. Because he doesn’t want to deal with the bastard child of Ramiro Quintana?

Very beta of him to allow his daughter to get knocked up by some latin lothario. He’s been cucked!

    • Is this a joke? It’s Bloomberg’s grandchild, regardless of the father. That is not what “cucked” means.

      • Traditionally, a father owns his daughters. He’s supposed to ensure they get married IN-group to someone who sticks around and provides for the children.

Mikey is none too thrilled that Ramiro and his bastard sprog glommed onto his bloodline.

      • Some lothario knocked up his daughter and ran off. And now he’s supporting an idle daughter with an illegitimate kid. He may not technically be a cuck. But there’s definitely something cuck-like about it.

    • I’m not sure there’s much Bloomberg could have done about who his daughter slept with. He couldn’t control her sex life.

      • He could have not gotten divorced from his wife. No-fault divorce causes bastardy in the next generation, because young adults lose faith in the institution of marriage. It happens more often with prole young adults, but the Bloomberg daughter’s verbal reasoning for not wanting to marry Ramiro Quintana is the exact same as a typical prole girl’s.

Kids from divorced parents think that marriage is a futile pursuit. This is why they think it’s ok to have a kid without marriage – “Why bother if there’s a high chance it won’t last?” This is literally what I overheard at the mall a few years ago when two young prole sales associates were chatting to each other about women and relationships.

And statistically, kids from divorced parents are right. Their marriages are statistically not going to last. If you’re born of of wedlock, or have divorced parents, the best thing you can do for the greater good is to never marry and never have kids. If only people from traditional families married and have kids, over time we would see fewer and fewer broken families – because the people with the penchant to cheat, abuse, or abandon, will disappear from the gene pool.

Ramiro Quintana initally wanted to marry Georgina Bloomberg. It was Georgina who didn’t want to marry, because she doesn’t believe in the existence of lifelong relationships. She specifically cites her own parents’ divorce as her reason against marriage. Quintana only abandoned Bloomberg after it became clear to him that she will never agree to marry him.

Another thing Bloomberg could have done was disinherited his daughter. But he’s too sissy to do that.

    • Some serious prole drifting right there for Bloomberg & Co.

      Ok, what, who's this again?

  3. There are a few genetically lucky leaders out there, like Mahathir Mohamad from Malaysia, born in 1925. Then again, he is Asian (so HBD might help with his old-age vigor in a way that may not work for Mr. Bloomberg), but the Tunisian president Beji Caid Essebsi also died while in office earlier this year, at the age of 92.

Mahathir oversaw the independence of Malaysia from the UK; last year, he won elections again after coming back from retirement, this time as the leader of the main opposition party to the one he founded! I think this was also the first time when the opposition in Malaysia gained power after an election.

  4. So now he’s a Democrat? He’s an open borders and climate change groupie, so I guess it makes sense.

  5. This is great news for Trump. Bloomberg will siphon votes away from Biden and make way for a viable 3rd part challenger from the left. Meanwhile, zero Trump voters will defect to Bloomberg because of his anti-gun positions. This is a dream come true…Howard Schultz level of spoilage only better.

    • True. The tallest candidate almost always wins. Being a billionaire who wants to ban Mountain Dew and muh firearms doesn’t help either.

    • Too Short was a good rapper from Oakland, around 1988-1992. Thanks for reminding me of him.

  7. I don’t like him but suspect Bloomberg will remain sharp through his 80s, if any candidate does.

I’d rather see Biden elected if a dem has to win. His team should be pretty respectable. But more of Clinton Obama policy tho.

  8. Bloomberg’s only real path is to cannibalize virtually all of Biden’s vote. I guess that is possible, but as you point out, Bloomberg does not have the prole/black appeal that Biden does. But since Biden can’t really afford to lose any of his existing vote to anybody, Bloomberg’s entry in to the race does present Biden with a serious problem. If he loses even a quarter of his existing vote share to Bloomberg then Warren or Bernie would easily vault ahead of him. I think the Democratic Establishment has kind of given up on Biden because they think he’s too senile to survive the scrutiny of a campaign so this doesn’t really bother them all that much. The real danger would be if Bloomberg ran third party.

  9. Why doesn’t Bloomberg just retire and spend time with his two grandkids?

Or play video games. Maybe he could persuade Ruth Bader Ginsburg to retire, and they could play Call of Duty together online.

  10. I actually saw Too Short in 2013. It was the only rap concert I ever attended. I was by far the oldest person there…other than Too Short himself who is a year older than me. I was the only white as well, everyone else was black or Hispanic. I really stood out and was a novelty, people were curious about me. I told them I listened to Too Short in the late 80s/early 90s. I even met gang members, they were nice to me. It was an experience I will never forget. Too Short put on a good show…very dirty, sexist lyrics but everyone laughed like it was a comedy show. Despite his content Too Short seemed nice and harmless..he was cleancut looking.

  11. The thing is, billionaires and social media oligarchs are also two of the most important (in dollars) parts of the Democratic Party constituency. If Biden keeps sinking, they don’t have a candidate. This sounds like an insurance policy.

  12. Bloomberg is an Anglophile who prefers London over the US, and is clandestinely dumping his Nanny State ways into British Society. WTF is he thinking? Has the London theater scene gotten too boring for him?
