Lion was right about Ghislaine!

This is what I wrote back in August after Epstein committed suicide:

It seemed to me that the feds were just going to ignore her. Epstein was public enemy #1. Not Ghislaine, who apparently got a free pass on account of having a vagina. But now with, with Epstein dead, I expect an indictment against her very shortly, so they can issue an arrest warrant and make her an international fugitive.

She’s smart enough to be in hiding in another country, but is she smart enough to permanently evade the U.S. criminal justice system like Roman Polanski?

And this also points to how people insistent on pushing conspiracy theories about Epstein’s death are complete and utter morons. Epstein was never going to spill any secrets, the value of his secrets are vastly exaggerated (he’s useless as a witness at someone else’s trial), and Maxwell probably knows more about his “sex trafficking” operation than Epstein himself, and she may have more of an incentive than Epstein to talk. Epstein’s death is way worse for everyone else involved with him than if he had lived.

As usual, I was right about everything. Except about Ghislaine being smart enough to stay out of the United States. I guess I’m usually wrong when I assume that the rich and famous are smart.

And maybe slightly wrong on the timing. There is definitely a grand jury indictment, the date of the indictment is unknown, but it appears to be a fairly recent indictment and not one sitting around since last summer.

  1. Why do you refer to men by their last names and women by their first names?

    July 2, 2020 at 12:58 PM

    • Most people do. It’s how our culture indirectly patronizes women.

I voted for Hillary Clinton in 2016. Yeah, that’s right. And I insisted on calling her “Mrs. Clinton” to make her seem more like a head of state than a friend.

      It didn’t catch on.

      July 2, 2020 at 1:47 PM

    • It makes sense to me. She’s definitely a Ghislaine, not a Maxwell. Hillary is a Hillary, and Kamala’s a Kamala.

      July 2, 2020 at 3:12 PM

    • I assume because Jeffrey is a very common first name. Ghislaine is not, so everyone knows who he’s talking about when he calls her that.

      July 2, 2020 at 4:29 PM

      • Men with distinctive first names don’t automatically get first-name treatment.

        July 4, 2020 at 1:39 PM

      • @ironrailsironweights … Lebron James? usually referred to as lebron.

        July 5, 2020 at 1:15 AM

    • You can’t generalize just from this one piece. If Lion reversed that and wrote about Jeffrey and Maxwell, you would have to take time to think about who he was referring to. Ghislaine is a very distinctive first name.

      • That and her father, Robert Maxwell, is sometimes a relevant subject relative to both Ghislaine’s behavior and maybe even Epstein’s wealth.

        July 5, 2020 at 2:24 AM

    • Seems pretty normal/natural to do that, no?

      July 3, 2020 at 3:24 AM

    • But Kanye just announced he is entering the 2020 Presidential Race.

      July 5, 2020 at 2:42 AM

      • Do any of the commenters here have any faith in Meriprolestan anymore? The c-u-n-t-ree has become a total sh!tshow.

        Ok, what, who's this again?

        July 5, 2020 at 10:42 AM

  2. She likely thinks she is untouchable. Epstein had a protection clause (I don’t know the legal term) in his plea agreement protecting his associates from prosecution.

    July 2, 2020 at 4:49 PM

  3. So so far you were actually wrong, we don’t know how his death will affect her trial, if she shuts up it will be very hard to prove anything against her without his testimony, her lawyer will be able to pin so many things on him rather than her and there will be no one there to refute it. But one thing we know for sure, she didn’t hide outside the US.

  4. I think a new NY Southern District atty may be indicative as well.

  5. When Barr fired Berman everyone was saying that was to bury the Epstein story. If you want to argue Trump is only peripherally connected, fine, but Barr‘s father and Epstein were thick as thieves. Things are starting to crack.

  6. Its unfathomable that she remained in the country. Incredibly stupid move, given her wealth & options. You cannot hide out in the US indefinitely anymore.

    July 3, 2020 at 8:32 AM

    • Is she wealthy? Does she have options? Even Israel, who employed her father, likely doesn’t want to touch her and draw attention to themselves.

  7. Why do you refer to yourself in the third person?

    David Evans

    July 3, 2020 at 9:40 AM

    • Because Lion is running for President in 2024 and all politicians refer to themselves in the third person.

      • If I hear a candidate blurt out “Meriprolestan” via a Freudian Slip, then I know it’s you.

        Ok, what, who's this again?

        July 4, 2020 at 11:04 AM

      • If Lion is running for the presidency then we will need to the Lions’ tax records.

Breaking news: Lion drops out of presidential race after reading this post.

        July 4, 2020 at 3:08 PM

      • Lion and Kanye should run together. He’d probably have to delete this blog though. Lion takes a much harder line on black fetuses than Kanye.

        July 5, 2020 at 10:38 AM

      • Dont make me laugh now. If this poor country doesn’t have a dictator by 2024, it’s doomed. A sigle male cannot be a president and for a good reason, but he can be a dictator.

        July 5, 2020 at 7:54 PM

      • If I hear a candidate blurt out “Meriprolestan” via a Freudian Slip, then I know it’s you.

You’re the only one who uses that ridiculous word.

        July 6, 2020 at 7:58 PM

      • One or 2 other commenters have said the word here without my volition.

Anyway, it’s a good determinant if someone is indeed a reader of this blog. If a random stranger or well known person has mentioned this word elsewhere either vocally or in writing, then you know this person has logged on to LoftB.

    • By declaring another independence and hanging the billionaire politicos funding it. They’ve crossed the line into sedition.

I’d also like to point out an article I just ran across. As I’ve previously said, Trump has to go because he’s doing more damage than good. But I still support Trumpism. NeverTrumpers on the other hand are still out there NeverTrumping. And their strategy is to burn the party down so that they can rebuild it into the kind of party that George Will and Mitt Romney can feel good about jerking off to at cocktail parties.

See, now, this is the problem. We need their money and organization to win elections. Just like they need our votes to win elections. But they don’t want us to ever really get what we want. In fact, they intend to keep us from getting what we want. The bastards just aren’t willing to compromise. And that’s why we can’t have nice things.

      July 5, 2020 at 1:32 AM

    • Because they’ve forgotten it already. The proles two doors away are whooping it up like it was an confederate charge against the enemy line as they explode $2000 worth of fireworks. Proles gotta prole.

  9. On betfair, which is the largest exchange in the world, the Republicans are 2.68, which translates as 1.68 to one against, and the Democrats are 1.59, which is 0.59 to one. The Democrat price has been coming in, in the last couple of weeks or so but in the last couple of days it appears to have levelled off. Similarly mutatis mutandis with the Republican price. The Democrat price has never been this short, nor the Republican this long.

  10. I’ve often wondered how dumb one must be to leave a message on the wrong thread. Now I have finally done it. The message above was intended for the previous entry in Mr Lion’s blog..

    • On mobile it is so easy to make mistakes.

Also on my interface (silk browser) the comment field often ‘jumps’ so your reply goes to the wrong comment.

Add to that I’m basically blind without reading glasses so it’s a wing and a prayer.

  11. O/t – Photo of the day, since there is an anti-prole sentiment coming from you, because many proles refuse to follow anti-covid rules.

This one was taken in a prole venue (which is a Beacon bar) located in the Hudson Valley.

  12. Lion, in your Twitter feed your blame Trump for not stopping the virus.

There is no universe in which the virus can be stopped in America. As the pandemic got rolling throughout February, the Democrats were impeaching Trump for abuse of power for exercising a tiny amount of power. Meanwhile the virus was spreading out of control in all the Democrat-controlled areas.

He was supposed to shut down America, an act of extreme power? There was just an impeachment for him exercising 1/1000 of that power.

But in any case, shutting down everything would have totally pointless. It turns out the virus was spreading throughout shutdown states among black and Hispanic populations who weren’t following the rules.

The only reason Cuomo “got the virus under control” is that millions in NYC were exposed and either weren’t susceptible or got the disease and recovered. New York rode the wave fully. New York didn’t outsmart the virus. Everyone who is usually out and about a lot already was exposed. The percent of rampaging New Yorkers who were exposed is probably 100%.

And now the virus shoots up again because Democrats / leftwing protests are gathering by the millions. Only a deranged leftist thinks throngs of thousands packed like sardines in every city isn’t the cause of the new surge. I have seen protests. They aren’t closely following mask rules, especially when it is hot out. In hot weather all the masks are pulled down so people can breathe better.

Trump supporters never were big spreaders of the virus. It was the unruly left and urban dwellers. Both the first wave and second wave were left wing phenomena. Now tons and tons of young protesters have the virus in every city.

America has a massive underclass that will never follow any rules. Therefore the chance of this virus ever being stopped in America before running its course was always 0.

    July 5, 2020 at 9:12 PM

    • Covid-19’s kill rate of the elderly and NAMs/the darker skinned are devastating. It’s also afflicts those who don’t follow rules and have a poor diet, namely proles and the underclass.

So the disease is evolutionary in nature. Adolf Hitler thought Southern Europeans were greasy and inferior, well, Spain and Italy have been hit the hardest with Covid-19 in the continent. You kind of think that this virus was almost biologically engineered by someone who is well read in scientific racism and Social Darwinism.

      Ok, what, who's this again?

  13. Huge wave of shootings in NYC this weekend. Number of shootings in Cody, Wyoming: zero.

  14. Has anyone answered the question of why so many people have been so involved/interested in Jeffery Epstein. If it like OJ and it involves the famous and is a small enough of a story that it is easy to understand.

Or is this just a distraction to keep people from focusing on real issues

  15. OT: USA Today, 07/06/20 – Amy Cooper, white woman who called police on Black bird watcher in NYC, has been charged

Amy Cooper, the white woman who called 911 on a Black man who asked that she leash her dog in Central Park, is facing a misdemeanor charge of filing a false report, Manhattan’s district attorney announced Monday…The charge is a class A misdemeanor, which can carry up to a year in prison, according to New York law.

Amy Cooper falsely said that Christian Cooper was “threatening” her and her dog. In the video, Amy Cooper refused to leash her dog and called 911, telling the operator that “there is an African American man. I am in Central Park. He is recording me and threatening myself and my dog.” At one point, Cooper shouts to the operator, “Please send the cops immediately.”

Christian Cooper said he often experiences dog owners who do not leash their pets so he pulled out dog treats that he carries in an attempt to get Amy Cooper to restrain the animal. He told CNN that he carries them because he knows dog owners often don’t want a stranger to feed their dogs so they immediately restrain it…

The video quickly drew reactions online and Amy Cooper apologized, saying in a statement she “reacted emotionally and made false assumptions about his intentions.” Her employer, asset management firm Franklin Templeton, swiftly fired her the next day…

  16. O/t – You probably remember these 2 men from a year or two ago. A bookseller and a librarian conspired to steal and profit from the Carnegie’s Library rare book room in Pittsburgh and were eventually caught. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, these pair of criminals got off the hook and are now sentenced for a few years of house arrest. The librarian did his dirty deed so he could send his daughter to a good school, most likely to avoid the undesirable element, you would elaborate.

Sometimes I wonder if the owner of the bookstore intentionally opened up his business near the Carnegie Library so things like this will happen.

Library patrons no longer need to touch any original bound material that is priceless. Everything should be digitized and the originals kept at a museum or some place locked up for good where these 2 men belong as well.

    Ok, what, who's this again?
