MBTI types of people who read this blog
I believe that most of my readers are INT-
The E-I axis is a typical measure of extraversion vs. introversion, the most dominant of all personality factors. No matter what type of stuff is published on the internet, introverts are more likely to be reading it. Reading stuff is, generally, an introvert activity.
Neuroticism is the second-most important personality factor, but it’s missing from MBTI.
The S-N axis (Sensing vs. iNtuition) is said to correlate most with the Big Five factor of Openness, but I believe that there is a huge difference between the two factors. I don’t believe that Openness is a real personality factor because it primarily measures SWPLness which is a social class and not personality factor. On the other hand, the MBTI test does a much better job of isolating a factor relating to intellectual curiosity and creativity. People high in curiosity and creativity are “N,” so most readers are N. I suspect that the racist readers are more likely to be “S.”
The F-T (Feeling vs. Thinking) axis is a poorly named factor. It corresponds to Agreeableness which is also a confusing name (so maybe Accommodation is a better name). People who are type T (or low in agreeableness and accommodation) are less susceptible to peer pressure and groupthink (in other words, they Think for themselves), which is necessary for being a believer in HBD. I think that just about every reader is going to be T. Donald Trump is a strong type T.
The J-P (Judging vs. Perceiving) axis is correlated with conscientiousness and orderliness. For example, J types like formal to-do lists and always keep their bathroom clean, while P types are the opposite. I personally fall in the middle, which is why the concept of 16 personality types is bogus, because most people will be average for each personality axis. There should really be at least 243 MBTI types, acknowledging three levels for each axis instead of only two. And then if you add neuroticism into the mix, there would be 729 types.

I think that’s why I find it funny when people become “keyboard warriors” on the Internet: anyone who spends a significant amount of time on blogs (I’m not counting Twitter, that’s for extraverts) is an introvert.
I would argue SWPLness is a personality trait, one that predominates in middle to upper-middle white people mostly, but is still a personality trait nonetheless. Similar to openness but different from creativity (maybe moderately correlated).
Regardless, I think MBTI has been superseded by HEXACO. MBTI came from Carl Jung’s theories, and Jung was an interesting fella (particularly with his discussions of archetypes) but he was a bit of a nutcase. And he wasn’t really statistically or scientifically grounded.

I got a chance to visit a few small towns in Upstate NY recently to make a conclusion that most of their residents are losers, although many of them are nicer than the cosmopolites we are comparing, they lack the tact, sophistication and the look of their wealthier and prettier cousins from liberal urban centers. The most successful White youths are living in the urban areas like Manhattan or Brooklyn.

It’s only been recently in the last 30 years or so that the upper middle class has made a large safe space in the cities, abandoning their suburban life.
I was shocked to realize that people in the suburbs tend to be shorter, in addition being more overweight.

I was just in Brooklyn this weekend, and I noticed this as well. At 6’2″, I’m usually pretty close to the tallest one in the crowd, but I found myself on eye-level with some of the women! (who were in heels, but still, that only goes so far…)

Whatever the personality type, I think, from reading the quality of some of the comments on this and other forums, that the general level of intelligence of the readership of this and other blogs and websites is higher than average. This, I believe, is a major problem for anyone who wishes that Joe public would take a more informed view of current events, because about 80% of the white population has an IQ less than 115, and these people do not have the savvy to question the narrative that is presented by the mainstream media. I’ve come across this on facebook, where the educational and intellectual level is, let us say, more mixed, and where people that seem to take an interest in politics and current affairs say really corny and dumb media fed things and engage in cringeworthy virtue signalling, yet they think they’re being brave and controversial.

You’re not totally wrong, but what’s useful about MBTI is not the actual 4-letter types, but rather, the mere understanding and appreciation of the way that there are different personality factors. To put it another way, MBTI becomes more useful when you stop trying to figure out exactly what “type” you are, and just look at the individual letters and try and understand how those apply to you. Discovering MBTI, and the concepts of introversion/extraversion, literally saved my sanity when I was in school and couldn’t grasp why I was “different” than everyone else.

I took the test and got INTJ, but really I have a problem with these kinds of tests. I was about to tick the box to say that I ‘don’t care what others think of me’ but then I thought, is that really true, or am I in fact very sensitive and have just unconsciously trained myself to ignore those feelings and overcome them?
And if that’s true then maybe it’s true for other aspects of my personality too–that often the way I think and act don’t correspond to my true feelings and instincts but are the result of coping mechanisms and attempts to force myself to act in a way I prefer or think I should. You might say that being racist or politically incorrect is a sign of disagreeableness. But when I used to stand on the High Street with a stall for the BNP I literally hated every minute of it for weeks, and hated the thought that the people walking past were judging me as a bad person, and the ‘fuck all of you’ persona I eventually adopted towards detractors was really only a way of hardening myself to pain of constant rejection and hostility. So am I agreeable or not? I really don’t know.
SO how can you really know if you are anwering the questions honestly?

Excellent question. The test tells you who you are right now. Look, a person gets messed up as a kid and spends the rest of his life figuring out what went wrong. At 18 I acted as a strong I, now I’m a strong E making up for all those years of introversion with vengeance. What happened? Coming out if my shell, becoming my true self. You gotta be the best person that you can possibly be, than you gonna know, who you truly are.

I used to be co-blogger myself (right after I retired). It consisted of reading the news 24/7/365. I kept it up for several years. (Actually, I did a stint at two blogs, one a lot bigger than the other.) I learned a lot from this exercise.
But I still visit the site of the smaller, original one. I know the blog owner almost as well as a real life friend. There’s in-jokes that only old-timers know.
Plus he has a steady group of commenters I’ve also got to know. He uses Disqus commenting, much better than this WordPress crap. Plus he doesn’t vet comments, although he does have a “supervisor “ available to keep an eye on the place when he’s off (he’s in Australia, she’s in Pennsylvania).
He has made the blog non-searchable (you can do that with Tumblr, not sure about WP). It relies on this large pool of like-minded American commenters that “know” each other. It really cuts down on negative commenters. It’s almost like a chat forum.
I still spend a few hours each day helping at the larger one. For the cause!
I do have offline friends too. Plus my sister and I “visit” by emailing each other outrageous stories. Every day.

There’s another problem facing extroverts.
We likely know many people who think that the only conversation worth having is how horrible Trump is.
You should see my Facebook stream. Except for my sister (also in the closet, neither of us post anything political). Today it’s wall-to-wall posts featuring the Trump blimp.
Why is it that leftists think they’re always right and freely share political stories? I believe there’s only one other person (besides my sister) that has any opposing views at all. A relative of my ex.
But there are too many family (we have six grown children between us, and a whole bunch of grandchildren) to stop using Facebook. We’re spread out in western Canada so I don’t see most of them in person.
I know my son is redpilled (from Gamergate) but he never posts anything.

I broke down and abandoned it almost entirely after seeing posts from people I liked grieving over the injustice done Trayvon Martin, a kid who was witnessed (the only eyewitness of the actual confrontation aside from Zimmerman) bashing Zimmerman’s head into the ground. And yet this paramount fact was the single fact absent from FB.

Thanks for the tip but my problem is a problem with some kind of inner ear problem that affects my balance. (Also left me with tinnitus).
Just recently I’ve noticed problems getting up if I fall. I’ve become a bit paranoid about it. I won’t set foot outside if there’s any snow.
Going down steep hills or irregular ground is also a problem.

The test give percentages, so it tells me that I’m 61% E and 39% I. 729 is a total overload for normal people. Maybe good for experts, but I’m not gonna sort through all that stuff.

Openness has never really struck me as a particularly robust category either. Open to — What? Open to trying different food? Open to different religions, cultures? Open to forcefully kicking out non-Americans?
Openness doesn’t have a fixed point of reference to understanding it, even if we can understand in broad strokes what it’s meant, it has value than something like Introversion / Extroversion and Thinking / Feeling that describe quite fundamental and intuitive personality dimensions.

You guys probably don’t get “openness” because you rate low on that factor.
The best way to describe openness is to discuss fear and pain. A normal, healthy person would be afraid of something dangerous. Or feel pain when they’re being injured. Fear and pain keep people from doing dangerous and self-destructive things. But suppose someone had a neurological problem that prevented them from feeling fear and pain. They would be at risk because they lack the fear and pain responses that make them cautious and keep them from hurting themselves.
Similarly, new people and situations may be dangerous. But you don’t know which because they’re new and unfamiliar. It’s better to err on the side of caution. Therefore, people have evolved a healthy instinct to be cautious around things that are new and unfamiliar. But liberals lack this healthy instinct and call it “openness”. That’s why they’re always blathering on about being “open-minded”.

I read the blog regularly but rarely comment. I have taken the test twice, about 25 years apart, and each time got an INTP, one of the rarest personality types. I know that many people dismiss the MBTI, but when I read descriptions of the INTP personality, they seem to fit me perfectly.

I found the personality test for the 16 types helpful. It explained a lot to me why I was frustrated with the ‘pubic’ school system when I was younger and why I think most religion is hokey crap not worth my time on a Sunday morning.

Are NTs less likely to be religious? I didn’t believe anything otherworldly until I had direct experiential contact with it. Were it not for that I’d still be an atheist. This is one reason I’m not particularly interested in converting anyone out of disbelief. I know how stupid it sounds so it would be futile anyway.
I read something funny yesterday, prince was a devout jehovah’s witness and as part of the creed would go door to door missionizing. Imagine having prince show up at your door bible in hand lol.

Dunno. I always felt there was a higher power in the world. Always. On a pure rational, intellectual level there is no other explanation either. This is very simple. I like discussing religion and faith with everybody. A person has to come to it himself, though.

After confirming a few details about my outlook in life (judgmental; like working in a small office with people I like; above average in math and science only with effort-full application; concerned with aesthetics) with Penelope Trunk, she said I was probably an INFJ. However; it’s the least feeling of the F types!

The only two non-fashion blogs by women I enjoy are hers and Five Feet of Fury, Kathy Shaidle’s blog, and I first heard about Penelope Trunk through Kathy Shaidle. Penelope Trunk is an ENTJ and Kathy Shaidle is an INTJ.

I would call myself agreeable because I don’t like getting into arguments, it upsets me. But I do think for myself. This leads to me feeling like “I’m in the closet” because I can’t discuss many things with most people I know.
It’s a big help that my sister is in the same boat. We complain to each other.

Like most everyone here I’m a T (ESTJ) but I have an agreeable outward personality. I don’t get in conflicts with people. But I don’t think like the herd, I have my own unique opinions on many topics that don’t fit in with liberals or conservatives…I guess that is the T in me.
I found it fascinating that on the HEXACO I am in the top 10% for being unconventional. Nobody perceives me that way, I don’t think of myself that way but the test shows I’m off the charts on it…I certainly don’t look unconventional, I don’t have tattoos or piercings (I suppose having them is conventional these days). The reason I score so high on this factor is I am open to out of the mainstream ideas from politics and beyond.
Every test shows I am an extrovert which is interesting because I am pretty quiet and low key. The thing is as much as I enjoy reading this blog and others …if someone called and invited me to a party with lot’s of hot girls I would go in a heartbeat. That rarely happens so I end up reading blogs and doing other introvert activities.

I think that unconventional people can understand the benefit of appearing normal, while a lot of supposedly “unconventional” people are just conforming to some standard of unconventionality.

INTP here. There are more “in depth” models of the MBTI that include an “assertive” and “turbulent” aspect which seem to address the neuroticism aspect of the five factor model. So for instance I am an INTP-T. Some sites that offer personality survey include this and some do not.
