The real story why the group was ejected from the restaurant

As reported at Radio Facts:

You’re only getting one side of story here. I work at the restaurant and your representation of the events is way off base. The group was being loud and obnoxious to both customers and staffers. They kept complaining about their long wait and were talking about how “whitey” was able to get seated, but they were not. The problem was that they had a large group and insisted on sitting next to each other. We only had one area that could accommodate their large group and the patrons in that area were not done. So yes, some “whities” were able to be seated before them, but only because they were going to a different area. We also seated non-whites in other areas too…They made this a racial issue before anything. One of the guests also insulted a deaf white girl because she didn’t respond to one of them telling her to move (she was deaf and didn’t hear them) They were also all standing in the middle of the walk way, making it difficult for customers to leave. We asked them if they could move over, but they said they can stand wherever they want, and if we wanted them out of the way then we should seat them. The customer that was offended was offended by a particular individual’s constant uses of the word “n*gger” When asked to stop, he threw out a long string of racial epithets against one of my co-workers.

I believe this account a lot more than I believe the mainstream news media account.

  2. Almost anyone in America has had to deal with “groups of people” like these. I remember first being angry as a child at one such “group of people” at the San Francisco Zoo, when they ate M&Ms and threw the plastic containers into the enclosure for gorillas. The mothers were with their kids as they were doing this, laughing and being jolly as their children trashed the area. I was outraged that anyone would be so crude and disrespectful as to trash a place for gorillas to reside – how so very SWPL of me.

    • Smear the people with bananas and toss them into the gorilla enclosure.

  3. All supposedly racist incidents against blacks turn out to be phony. But even if true, why give so much attention to this and none to the children and old people being attacked and killed by blacks?

  4. Reblogged this on Mindweapons in Ragnarok and commented:
Gang of 25 blacks get obnoxious at restaurant, then cry racism. Here’s a restaurant worker’s side of the story:

Here’s the blacks claiming “Jim Crow Racism”:

The would probably have found an excuse not to tip anyway. I suspect a part of black misbehavior is genetic, and a part of it is the fact that they are coddled and and spoiled so much by the System, which enhances their natural tendencies.

    • Yes, genetics could be the reason as to why Blacks are unfit for any situation that requires civic mindedness. Here in NYC, there are book reading groups where there is an emphasis on intellectual matters, as participants come in with a familiarity with the subject and having done their homework. Black participants, who are usually guys come into these events ill prepared, have no knowledge of anything and their primary reason is to meet women where they distract some of the ladies in order to get their phone numbers. Yes, these groups are social events, but Blacks act like clowns and spoil the main objective of these meetups.

      • This has nothing to with being black. It’s called playing the game. It’s called meeting the opposite sex in places where they hang out. However, skilled game practitioners would at least be somewhat informed of the subject matter and somewhat interested in the scene in order to fit in. Did those lumps get any numbers? Probably not. As you were.

      • “This has nothing to with being black”.

Yes it does have to do with being black. Lower IQ, lower future time orientation and a lesser ability to analyze.

“It’s called meeting the opposite sex in places where they hang out”.

A philosophy meeting about Descartes and Hobbes (if you even know who these characters are) doesn’t attract a large following of women, especially those whom you considered hot for sex. Those black dudes could have gone to some happy hour singles group.

“However, skilled game practitioners would at least be somewhat informed of the subject matter and somewhat interested in the scene in order to fit in”.

Go on…how many of you prole guys out there have the intellectual capacity to dwell on philosophy such as Roissy who views PUA as a science on his blog?

      • After reading both articles, I’m going with “nothing to do with being black” and everything to do with walking into a restaurant with a party of 25 without a reservation and expecting to be seated – together – some time before the end of the decade. If you’ve got a party that size, you either make a reservation or go someplace like Fuddruckers with a large self-seating area.

  6. You have no idea what living day to day with micro-aggressions will do to a person. In fact, your refusal to take the black patrons side of the story against the racist restaurant workers is just another micro-aggression. See how these micro-aggressions pile up? If we were in a diversity training seminar you’d be scolded for dismissing a purported victim’s story which is, if they are a minority, a form of racism. However, dismissing a purported perpetrator’s defense is enlightenment. This isn’t quasi-religious mumbo jumbo passing itself off as reasoned thought, mind you. Tons of people are employed by public colleges to teach this stuff so it can’t be quasi-religious mumbo jumbo. That Kashawn kid (Berkely-L.A.Times) will likely teach one of these classes one day and make a salary doing so in excess of yours.

      • There’s plenty to say about the Kashawn Campbell debacle; Lion should do a separate post on the L.A. Times article and some of the internet responses to it (e.g., Education Realist, Steve Sailer, Heather MacDonald at NRO’s The Corner). But Mr. Campbell, who appears to be a nice, likable young man — if utterly out of his depth at U. Cal. Berkeley — deserves better than to be included, even in passing, in a comment thread about large groups of blacks behaving badly at restaurants.

      • There such a huge gap between an elite university and a ghetto school that one can be a straight-A superstar at the ghetto school yet still be one-standard-deviation below average at the elite university.

But the guy still seems like a decent young man and it’s mean-spirited to make of him for no reason. I am sure he will have a least a middle-class life.

    • “In fact, your refusal to take the black patrons side of the story against the racist restaurant workers is just another micro-aggression.”

It’s also a rejection of the “lived experiences” of the black patrons. The feminist blogs that I hateread have taught me about this recently. Basically, the subjective perception of a deluded whiner about whatever happened in whatever situation is more important than what actually happened because it’s real to them, and questioning it is some sort of function of some sort of privilege. The truth does not matter when someone with an oppressed identity is offended.

  7. Even if seated immediately this “group” probably would’ve complained incessantly about everything in hopes of getting free food from the manager. Happened quite a bit during my younger days as a part-time server during the summer. It’s a known tactic.

  9. “The Kashawn kid really doesn’t seem like a bad kid at all. I suspect he will wind up in some middle-class office job.”

That’s what I don’t get about conservative critics of affirmative action. The kid is obviously in over his head but who cares? He is an African studies major so will likely graduate. It’s not like there is no affirmative action in the corporate/government world. Kashawn has a long and prosperous career ahead of him in whatever field he chooses. He will not be a valuable employee but who cares? He will get a decent amount of money and have a high degree of status. In all seriousness, he could reach the C-suite as Chief Diversity Officer.

Yes, everyone will know he is an affirmative action case but – again – who cares? Nobody will ever say anything about him or his performance in public (if they do they will lose their job and be exposed as a ‘racist’).

  10. How many stereotypes could this group fulfill?

    1. Failure to plan ahead. If you are going to dinner with 25 people, you need to go to some place that has a separate room and you need to make reservations.
    2. Going to a cheap chicken place for a celebration.
    3. Forgetting the rest of the world exist when in a group of your own.
    4. Public use of profanity even though children are present.
    5. Playing the race card when someone complains about your behavior. Blacks have succeeded in pushing the idea that the N-word is the worst thing anyone can say. Then they use the same word in public and do not understand when everyone else complains.
    6. Acting like rules are for others.

If I were in such a restaurant with an unruly group of any ethnicty or race, I would have to leave. Why put up with bad behavior when you are paying for the meal.

    • Blacks generally cannot plan effectively, as they are biologically predisposed to a lower future time orientation. There is a reason as to why Blacks are underrepresented in the legal field, a discipline much easier than medicine or engineering.

  12. I’ve noticed black people use the term “ignorant” in an unusual manner (some of the comments from self-identified black use this word). Either it’s assumed a whole new meaning in black english, or they’re using the word incorrectly, which is ironic…

    • I used to tend bar at a joint in Chicago frequented by professional
football players from the local teams: they ordered expensive
cognacs like Remy and Courvoisier, took up seats for hours,
      and tipped little or nothing.
