Trump and the Jewish star

Just another case of Trump re-tweeting something without paying attention to what he’s re-tweeting. In fact, because Donald Trump, in fact, knows so little about the anti-Semites, he’s not familiar with their standard tropes, so he was more likely to not realize that the Jewish star was intentionally placed there as a reference to the Conspiracy of Jewish Money that anti-Semites believe in. This is definitely not a new reason to not vote for him.

Yes, white nationalists hate Jews , love Trump, and are very active on Twitter and other social media.

Hillary also has a lot of unsavory supporters, but the liberal-dominated MSM ignores them. Also, Hillary doesn’t retweet stuff, and most of her unsavory supporters are lacking in creativity to create graphics like that in the first place.

  1. Only problem with this theory lion is that it was not a retweet. The tweet originated with the Trump campaign. The six pointed star is a PowerPoint shape that I’m sure one of his people used without thinking or realizing it was the Star of David. Or maybe it was meant to evoke a sherriff badge? At any rate, I really don’t think this gaffe has legs. At least I hope it doesn’t.

    • Just because it’s not a re-tweet doesn’t mean that Trump himself created the graphic, or even that someone who works on his campaign created the graphic. I think it’s unlikely that shape was an accident. If it was someone on his campaign who created the image, I bet that he’s an anti-Semitic White-Nationalist type who infiltrated the campaign.

    • Or maybe it was meant to evoke a sherriff badge?

It could have been a graphics mistake. I saw the original tweet and didn’t notice the star until the usual media controversy broke out.

I’ve also received coupons and ads in the mail with six sided stars announcing special deals that clearly weren’t meant to symbolize the star of David.

    • The Stars and Banners templates of MS Powerpoint has 4, 5, 6, and higher point star templates. They probably just pulled off one of them for the image without giving it much thought.

    • And the basic six star template on PPT is shaped exactly like a Star of David; I’m not sure a six sided star could be proportioned differently in many other ways that would be aesthetically pleasing.

      • So basically, Microsoft Office hates the Jews.

I apparently, still can’t see the anti-Semitism lurking in that image. Either this is a massive fake controversy, like most of the others, or it’s a dog whistle that Trump is ready to fire up the ovens after election day.

If you really think it’s the dog whistle, then as per the comedy styling of Hillary Clinton, delete your account.

  2. What I like about Trump is that he’s an obnoxious New Yorker, just like Tribal members sestamibi and Lion. As always, if the choice is between him and Hillary, no problema, senor. If Trump showed any anti-Semitic tendencies, he would have been eaten alive in the very Jewish world of New York real estate.

I would also point out that both candidates have daughters that married Jewish men, but Ivanka converted and Chelsea did not.

    • His Jewish son-in-law has become one of his most influential advisers, along with (((Stephen Miller))). Every bit of evidence suggests he’s very friendly with Jews.

Elites are just elites, especially Manhattan elites, who are the damn same group of people in their penthouses, whether they’re Repub or Liberal.

      • Ivanka would be the hottest first daughter in American history, so this is not a fair comparison for Chelsea who is cute in her own way.

  3. I don’t think there’s anything behind it and doubt anyone else does either. Of course, those who sit on the edges of their seats waiting for any little niggling think to make an issue of will try to exploit it. Which I think has the effect of “crying wolf”. It desensitizes the general public to smears against him. You can only listen to so much of that before you just start blowing it off and tuning it out.

    • The constant gaffes are not a “little issue”. Literally every time he starts to get some momentum in the polls he shoots himself in the foot with total incompetency. The amateurishness is endemic to his entire campaign.

With the terror attack in Bangladesh, the Hillary/FBI meeting and the holiday weekend he may escape this without much damage but this shit is unacceptable no matter what. At the very least, it gives more ammo to the TruCon vermin who are attempting a coup at the convention.

      • Trump might just be trying some things out before we get started for real. Maybe he’s even sandbagging to avoid spooking his enemies. Personally, I think he’s in a great position at the moment, shadowing Hillary in the polls while denying her any media oxygen.

He’ll still have to close the deal in a few months, of course.

He does make gaffes but this is not one of them.

Despite his tendency to be reckless he’s still within three points of her in the major swing states. If anything it’s Hillary who should be worried because her multi-million dollar ad buys haven’t pulled her out of the mid-40s.

  5. This election is nerve-wracking. Every day the Democrats and Clintons appear more dangerous and more corrupt (we just learned the FEC wanted to punish Fox News for holding a GOP debate, and that Slick Willie had a secret meeting with Loretta Lynch), but every day Trump does something that makes you doubt he can defeat Rodham-Clinton. Scary!

  7. This constant drumbeat of really dumb stuff like this from the Trump campaign is just downright depressing. I love the man for shifting the Overton window and pushing out the neocons, and I will almost surely vote for him come November, but I have become resigned to the fact that he is just a terrible campaigner and somewhat of a buffoon. Thank goodness he’s running against the extremely unlikeable Hillary Clinton, but his campaign is just a constant cringe-fest at this point.

I don’t blame him for personally approving this add because he is a moron and I expect him to either be oblivious or think that it was a good idea. But I do blame him for not having people on staff to make sure his campaign isn’t producing memes that will only hurt his campaign.

    • Part of standing up to the entrenched interests of globalism is that you have to fight your way through basically everyone from the common brainwashed masses, to the professors, media, and government stooges. There is no way you are not going to ‘slip up’ when facing an ideology that has that many allies, and has such strong thought control.

  17. This tweet was obviously intentional. I’m surprised this is obvious only to me. This is how Trump gets free media time without spending money on advertisements. People all over the blogosphere are retweeting his Hillary is “most corrupt candidate ever” meme. CNN, MSNBC all the media outlets are showing the Hillary is “most corrupt candidate ever” meme, a minute later they are talking about her FBI investigation. Nobody really believes Trump is anti-semite with all his talk about his Jewish family so this is attributed to carelessness while is message that Hillary is corrupt is being reinforced over and over again in peoples mind.
