I’ve been saying for days that Cruz was going to win more than 50% in Utah. I know Mormons a lot better than my readers who never lived in the interior west.
And people really underestimate how much influence Mitt Romney has with the Mormons. When he says don’t vote for Trump, the Mormons listen.

In other words, mormons are ethnocentric and have no ethnic solidarity with other whites.
I’m not surprised, they are losers. Why would anyone listen to a loser like Romney?
The future is whites being divide and conquered by Hillary/Obama types.

Mitt Romney turned the Winter Olympics around after the bribery scandal in 2002. The Mormon church, who carefully uses elders like Romney, is trying to expand their temples and increase their influence/membership in the Hispanic world.

Good, they can vote for Hillary in the general election over Trump so she can put 2 to 4 liberals on the supreme court.
That might make them happy.
I know it’s bad politics but too bad Trump didn’t bitch slap Romney when Mitt called Trump a “con man”. You want con man, Mitt? How about Joseph Smith and Brigham Young who created that idiot religion of yours!!
Can’t say it but I’ll bet Trump thought it.

Nice. Joseph Smith was the epitome of a con man.
Although Smith was an Alpha player type who had the charisma to get an enthusiastic group going, I think Brigham Young was more of a dutiful greater beta who had the discipline and management skills to build the Mormon Church into a more established cult..

That video is what people have been saying on the internet (including me) for at least 10 years. And it’s true, too. The problem is that as recently as 2013, Cruz was supporting giving illegals legal status and work permits, expanding legal immigration and increasing H1B’s by 500%. He’s not going to secure the border. He’s a phony.

Mormons, on the whole, are typical TruCons in that they are very nice people but also very gullible. This makes them susceptible to Arch Cucks like Romney. If every Ned Flanders from every neighborhood in America moved to one location it would be Utah. They are the epitome of stupid, adopt-a-nam Christiandom.

Not an obvious choice. With Mormon neighbors, they will not cause any problems, but neither will they be your friends except on a very superficial “Goodmorning Mr. Lion” basis.
The Apprentice-watchers might be much warmer neighbors who would invite you over for delicious prole food.

If Romney endorses a third party or write-in candidate in the general, I think Trump is toast in Utah. I was ready to say “piss off” to the guy, but numbers like these mean Trump will probably have to make peace with him if he doesn’t want the Mormon-heavy states to be at risk of slipping out the back door.
