Public relations disaster for white nationalists

Nazi flags, anti-Semitic chants, culminating in one of the white nationalists committing murder by car.

This crap tars the entire alt-right.

  1. Disagree. Only people really paying attention to this are younger folks on the internet (my Facebook feed of 30+ folks is completely silent about it) and those younger folks actually watched the live feeds and saw what really happend. Alt Right were all well behaved and dressed like Frat Bros. Antifa were completely out of control, throwing bricks, piss, mace, and everything else. They looked like slobs and freaks. This was a HUGE victory for the right. We showed up in numbers nobody every dreamed possible, took the best shot Antifa could throw at us, and emerged unscathed. It should be noted that all the dying happened long after the Alt Right had gone home (Alt Right was actually ordered to leave by police while Antifa were allowed to stay). I suspect the car accident was just somebody trying to escape an Antifa attack. If you go to Twitter user “Faith Goldy” you can see video of earlier attacks on cars. They were throwing bricks, and attacking any Alt Right car trying to get out of there that they could find.

    • The stupid white nationalists didn’t have to foresight to know that they would be played by the police and the authorities.

The car drove into the crowd, not away from the crowd.

      • The car drove down the street. We don’t know what was happening when it accelerated. If every other video I’ve seen from the event is any indication, it was probably being attacked. Politico reporter at the station tweeted that police believed that guy was just scared and had no malicious intent at time of arrest. If you look at the other angle of the accident, what it looks like is the car sped down the street, and because of the people couldn’t see the cars stopped ahead. By the time he saw them it was too late. Guy pulled over to side of road and waited once he got to a safe place. I’m just not seeing it as being intentional at all.

      • The video shown on Fox makes the driver of the car look very guilty. Unless there’s another video somewhere showing something different, huge public relations disaster and that driver has the book thrown at him.

      • There is no PR for the Alt-Right, if you’re talking about being liked and attracting a nice audience — this isn’t their operative. Although their tactics would be classier, if it was a scene out of the Godfather.

      • There are a LOT of videos out there, and no one should leap to conclusions too soon. I’ve seen a couple which seem to be consistent with the theory (apparently claimed to the cops) that this guy panicked when the intifa attacked his car, and the reason he backed up so quickly was because they were swarming and attacking his car/him (you can see that quite clearly). It would not surprise me to learn that he was literally in fear for his life. We shall see….

The whole thing almost seems like a set up:- issue a permit to the marchers on the right; box in the peaceful marchers with police on 3 sides and intafa/BLM on the other side; intafa starts the violence; police stand down/order the legal marchers to disperse, but only into the intafa/BLM crowd; mayhem ensues; blame the evil right.

The one good thing is that they can’t call on Jeff Sessions to recuse this time – truth will out (we hope).

Meanwhile the left, the NeverTrumpers and the GOPe are freaking when the facts are not fully known yet.

Trump hit the right notes in his statements, but of course he’s been roasted by left and right at the moment.

I can’t understand why any self-respecting person on the right would want to march with the KKK and Nazis, but they did have a permit and they (apparently) were marching peacefully until intafa/BLM intervened.

America’s disenfranchised take on a racial tone, but it isn’t about racial identity, it’s only economics, coming from its strictly capitalist nature.

Of course, men in America who don’t have great credentials and good jobs, are less likely to be attached to a woman, where women are now filling most of the jobs that produce no value to society, which are the majority of the high paying jobs in America.

but violent acts by non-state actors doesn’t need to be terrorism.

Revolutions succeed because conditions swell the ranks of losers who have no stake in the system…and the winners only have police-on-a-pension protecting them. When there is no money to pay the pensions, then the police will stop working.

      • More ordinary white people than ever are realizing that their interests are not being served by either political party. That’s part of the reason why Trump won. Trump also ran on a nationalist/populist agenda focusing on immigration and trade. He was the only candidate who took anti-globalist and anti-pc positions as well. Trump’s agenda, along with Breitbart and Drudge, is best seen as right-wing populism or alt-lite. Lion’s term “anti-establishment right” is pretty good too.

White nationalists and alt-rightists have to develop a tough skin and stay doggedly determined. 1. Hitler killed many millions of white Christians, including tens of thousands of white Americans.
        2. Even Holocaust deniers admit that Hitler imprisoned the Jews and other groups in prison camps.

It is stupid and immoral to carry the Confederate flag for any sort of political purpose. Even white supremacists should view the Confederacy with with loathing, if only out of self interest. The southern states seceded to in order to preserve and expand slavery. Had the United States said “good riddance,” the South probably would have ended up being not too different from a typical Afro-Caribbean island country. There might have even been a slave rebellion a la Haiti. Is that what white supremacists want?

    • It’s mindless counterculturalism. We’ve all been indoctrinated by The Establishment to think since childhood that Nazi Germany and the Confederacy were the height of evil, but since we’ve matured to reject their lousy agenda it follows for some of the dumber anti-establishment types that anything their enemy opposed must therefore also be good.

But Nazis and slaveowners were made into bogeymen because they were clearly awful, and it helped the Establishment’s cause to tar their opponents with that dirty brush. It’s still helping.

The Confederacy believed in cheap labor for rich people, no different than the mass immigration project supported by the left. The only difference is that the slaves have a choice of which plantation to work on. Neither the confederacy nor slavery exist today, yet the left chooses to attack southern whites.

  13. As usual, people will come away feeling their pre-existing views were confirmed.

If you’re an alt-righter, you think antifa was responsible for the violence. The Unite the Right marchers simply fought back. Maybe the driver went too far, maybe he didn’t.

If you call yourself alt-lite, you lament the identitarian politics and wish we’d all just be nationalists together.

If you’re GOPe, you’re embarrassed and outraged by the displays of “white supremacy” and consider that worse than anything.

If you’re just an HBDer, you dislike the violence, and while granting that the marchers are right on a number of issues, are probably uncomfortable with the Confederate and especially the antisemitic and Nazi imagery.

If you’re a leftist of any sort, you’re blaming all Republicans and conservatives for the violence, and consider what happened to the, ahem, “counterprotesters” worse than the Orlando nightclub massacre.

As I see it, the local politicians couldn’t legally stop the Unite the Right march from happening. As such, they took the approach California politicians have: order the police to stand down and let/instruct antifa to brutalize the rightists.

Rightists, however, have learned over time to come prepared. The people who went to see Milo at Berkeley were ambushed and beaten like livestock. Not much earlier, Richard Spencer himself was punched in the face. Now, however, rightists bring sticks and shields, ready to fight, and more and more unsavory men who genuinely love inflicting violence on others have come along. As I predicted months ago, the right would prove stronger in mob violence than the left. We’re seeing that.

The violence we’re seeing is just the natural result of anarchy. When there is no law and order upheld, human beings naturally revert to being like tribes of chimpanzees who violently assault each other. It’s horrible and it’s wrong, and I ultimately blame the violence on the politicians and the police for not doing their job. Men inevitably become beasts without law and order, and for willingly abdicating from their responsibilities, the politicians and police deserve nothing but censure.

Well-meaning people who just want to stop immigration, protect jobs and not be made a minority in a country where they’re already the scapegoat for others’ failures are going to stop coming to rallies that draw in murderers and avowed Nazis. People who love America and her past, which MAGA invokes, aren’t a natural fanbase for homicidal German imperialism.

Charlottesville in turn will attract people who have no political views at all but just enjoy causing mayhem, as the brawls in previous rallies probably greased the wheel for the guy who rammed his car into antifa.

So in the future these rallies are going to get weirder and more violent, and as the freak flag flies higher more and more law-abiding people will abandon them, and the wacko quotient will become more intense. It probably ends in calculated terrorist attacks.

  20. Long time ago, over 30 years, I was in a situation where I was almost lynched by blacks while I was in my car. I was driving a yellow cab in Manhattan. Nighttime, took an elderly black church couple up to their apartment in the Polo Grounds housing project. Nice people. When I turned around to leave the projects two young kids passed my car and said, “Dayz waitin for you out there.” Didn’t think anything of it, had about 100 ft to go before I entered the street. Driving slowly I passed another kid, he says, “Dayz waitin for you”. Now I’m nervous. Get to within 30 feet of the exit onto the street and a swarm of “youths” rose up from behind bushes, trees, dumpsters, everywhere, and savaged my cab with a pelting of rocks. Broke two windows, cut my ear. What did I do? I floored it. Didn’t even think of or care whether anybody was in my way. In fact, I didn’t think anything at all. I just floored the pedal and sped out and made a sharpe right turn and sped down the street. Afterwards I had a hard time remembering anything of the incident after I had received the warning from the second kids. If the driver experienced anything like this, he has a reasonable to very good defense case.

A brick thrown in the back of this guy’s car is all he really needs as a defense. Moreover, it is the most logical explanation. Premeditation makes no sense at all. The rally was supposed to be in the Park not the streets. The Alt Right still supposed to be there. The scenario this guy encountered (a rally in the streets in which is 100% Antifa) was never envisioned by anybody, so how could he have planned an attack in advance? Is the argument that he spontaneously decided to commit mass murder out of the blue on the spot?

      1. He was attacked with brick or something and freaked out (early reports suggest this is what he told police, and police believed him).
      2. Road Rage. Dodge Challenger is a very nice car and he looked like he took care of it. Maybe people were throwing rocks at it and he flipped out and accelerated out of anger and not fear.

During the election, there were several BLM-inspired attacks on police. My recollection is that Trump avoided naming BLM or “black radicalism” after those attacks, instead opting for a generic “pro-police” response. You might have thought he was observing the rules of political correctness, but for him it was quite conspicuous. So there’s an argument to be made that Trump is leery of wading into the specifics of ANY domestic factional violence, unless it involves groups that he sees as outsiders to American life, ie Muslims.

  32. if you could use a laugh, watch the black guy bobbing his head in approval as Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe denounces racists and Nazis at the Charlottesville rally. But when McAuliffe praises Thomas Jefferson and George Washington as true patriots, the head bobbing suddenly freezes up. As we know, after the monuments honoring Confederate generals are expunged, the Found Fathers will be the next prime targets for eradication and replacement.

Watch the black man’s reaction in the first 30 seconds of the McAuliffe press conference:

I hope you know enough about history of “blood and soil” so further lessons wont be needed. I would say if nothing else these white nationalists have got their slogan right. They talk “heritage” and “oppression” but chant “blood and soil”

      • I hope you know enough about history of “blood and soil” so further lessons wont be needed.

Slogans and symbols do not make them politically relevant, which the real Nazis very much were in their time. This crew couldn’t pass the physical and mental health requirements to enter the Wehrmacht.

Worrying about them is a waste of time.

        Like Israel for instance.

Israel at almost 20% Arab Muslim (not to mention many Israeli Jews who are well over 50% Slavic as can be seen by how many blonde bombshells are hanging around Israeli beaches) is less of an “ethnostate” than France.

  35. My thoughts on Charlottesville are here: https://nationalistperspective.wordpress.com/2017/08/13/charlottesville/

Essentially it was a leftist setup between the media and the government. When the judge ruled the rally could go forward on 1st amendment grounds, the mayor issued a standdown order to police and let antifa attack the rally. Then the governor cancelled the rally due to the violence. The media was there to focus on any piece of violence from the right and downplay or ignore all of the antifa violence. Then they tried to smear Trump and all of the right wing with it, and establishment cucks went along with that frame.

Really nasty stuff. It all happened on Soros’s birthday – a big present to him.

  37. “It’s a German Nazi saying. The alt-right should find their own symbols and slogans, not those of the Third Reich.”

This brings up a larger issue: have white Americans lost all cultural creativity? Poor blacks have their own culture (even though it’s become stagnant), and the music they created served as the basis for America’s popular music. Our national identity is based not on who we are as a people, but on America’s history of military conquests and failures. We have very little in the way of original native cuisine, and our buildings are nothing but drab boxes because apparently we had neither the imagination nor the will to do better.

How fitting that underclass white zombies would choose the flag of a defeated, insane government from Europe as their banner.

    • To say white America has no culture is appallingly ignorant. Pick up a book sometime and read about America’s great inventors, architects, scientists, chefs, actors, directors, artists, and musicians. They have been some of the most culturally influential people who have ever lived. It’s not our fault that American culture is so globally ubiquitous today that it’s easy to take it for granted.
